Crystalthorn: It's funny what our mind could do to us. If a person is too superstituous, there is nothing you would say to convince him that the 'pressing neck' sensation is simply sleep paralysis. I used to believe it was spiritual because of the panic it creates, until I read about it from a medical angle and stopped calling God or Jesus anytime it happened. Instead I just tried waking up. Sure enough it worked each time.

After experiencing it many times, almost twice a day, I decided to do some research and proceeded to read about 'sleep paralysis'. I found out it was nothing serious, its just a mechanism to stop you from physically acting out your dream. Even though I now know what it is, it still scares the crap out of me.
