, you are now acting like Sharia law doesnt exist in Nigeria already. If you borrow money from them and you refuse to pay back, maybe you deserve whatever it is you get from Sharia law. |
Politics / Re: State Of The Union by eKWutoZiaM(m): 4:05pm On Jun 27, 2011 |
Sir, even conventional banks dont make money only from the interests they get from loans given out. A bank doesnt need people to take or pay back loans before the pay staff. Banks majorly make money from investing money kept with them. |

Islam Banks In Nigeria The Central Bank of Nigeria has finally made good its plan to licence Islamic banks in Nigeria. It has also placed a capital bottom-line of 10bn naira on it. In my opinion this is a welcome development, considering what the gains accruable from the bank are. According to how the Islamic Bank operates, loans can be taken and paid back at zero interest. This will in no small way help people who are entitled to such loans to have access to credit to start business and not crumble under the heavy interest rates that conventional banks demand. My question is this, how old is Ikechukwu Uche? Except Uche Jumbo is a cougar, or Ikechukwu is older than we all think he is. |

Dumbass calling his better names, all that thrash u put up there just to let Seun know u are a loyal disciple?, posting April full crap all in the name of posting facts. The rapidshare nonsense U posted was a joke played by some people like u, rapidshare is still online till 2moro, anyway u guys can worry about litigations all you want, its all paranoia, but then nairaland isnt the only forum where people can get hook ups, so case closed. oyb: |
Computers / The Issue Of Banning Warez On Nl by eKWutoZiaM(m): 10:46am On Apr 11, 2008 |
I just read the piece by the sole administrator of this mug. His intentions are laudable but his reasons show he isnt well informed about how this stuff works. If a host like rapidshare hasnt got liabilities hanging around its neck, why should Nairaland fret?, and mind you, nobody is ever going to bring litigations against You and hope to win because this so called files aint saved on your server, you just gave links that point to their locations. Just like saying u will face libel suits for posting a link to an article on some celeb from sunonline, And the tone of "Otherwise:Ban"!!, hilarious, well, thats why this place is NairaLand, ok, carry on peeps, have a good friday . |
Phones / Re: iPhone Killer Apps Section!! by eKWutoZiaM(m): 7:06pm On Apr 09, 2008 |
@naijafan Well, that may be correct, but nothing beats iTunes for content distribution. It's the default media player for many people and you can be sure there'll be anough ads pointing towards the games. Even people just out to the appstore to buy a few apps will probably plunk for one or two games. Moat important, however, is the business model. and 70% of the sales volume goes to the developers. You won't get that kinda deal anywhere else. Add to that the recent upsurge in iphone sales (after the unlock process got ridiculously easy) and you've got more sales coming up. The inevitable release of a 3G model around June will sway hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of undecided consumers. I'll bet anything that by november 2008 the combined sales of iPhones and ipod touches will exceed all the Nseries combined. |
Phones / Re: iPhone Killer Apps Section!! by eKWutoZiaM(m): 6:53pm On Apr 09, 2008 |
naijafan: As logica said above, the N95 is available with every single carrier. In the UK, only O2 has the right to sell the iPhone. Anyone not on the o2 network wishing to have an iphone have to go through the expensive step of canceling an existing contract. not easy. The ipod touch has sold a very impressive rates in europe. At the end of the day, install base is everything. |

blinkdedon: does anyone else see the irony in this thief calling a working guy 'jobless'? bendeclerk: how will this nation develop and 'stop chasing dreams' when an entire generation of youth are determined to steal and cheat their way to riches? The only difference between you scammers and the celebrity governors and socialites you guys lambast is that you haven't been exposed to that kind of oportunity to steal. I think you have demonstrated your ability and desire to steal, so what's the difference? Perhaps things may have been different if you Yahoo boys typically invested your gains in making Nigeria better. Instead all you people can think about is parties and extravagant lifestyles. Now i want any of you that is bold enough to answer this simple question: WHat's the difference between what you're doing and what armed robbers do? |
