Its NNBTS(Junior Cadet) that is starting on 5th march not DSSC.. DSSC 24 will b May 2017...

there's nothing like junior cadet, its either Cadet or trainee,
D NNBTS is for trainees, which afta POP become Naval Ratings,
while we are DSSC Officer cadets....
which after POP we are Commissioned Naval Officers.
Congrats to all my course mates who made it, I hope u are all more than half way done with the preparations. wish us all d best and journey mercy to NNC onne. Godspeed Mate.

well! i really dont knw how to answer dt because institutions has different procedures. For example in my schl, u have to report to schl, so dt they can revalidate your chances of going with next batch
NB: the reason why i feel is neccessary, is that nysc might need to confirm, if your institution is not the cause of your inability to report to camp.


I revalidated for batch A15 then during batch B15 but i wasnt mobilized due to the fact dt, my schl didnt resend my name then. But ur schl might be different, u can find out from other colleagues

is very simple, all you need to do is to revalidate. When you open nysc portal, you will see 3 options

(1)start afresh
(2) Remobilization
(3) revalidation. Just click on the third option (revalidation). It will direct you further

i hope u report to your institution during the batch A pre-mobilization processes

Is true dat awaiting result brings anxiousness, bt at d same time lets use our time wisely to pray continuously until d result is out. If God hav destined u to be there nothing can stop you. Frm my side i heard the nav sec submitted d list to the CNS awaiting final approval. Therefore any moment frm now to next week Friday d list might be out. Jst keep feet and get set to report as a cadet. We all shall make it by the grace of God.

Well based on a layman's analysis and previous situations, i'd suggest you pray they quickly approve and allocate National budgets at the Higher Legislative Chambers. The military arms sure need to allocate funds for their respective programs of which recruitment happens to be one. I might be wrong though.

the delay has nothing to do with budget, d exercise started last year so it is reasonable to understand that it has everything is in place, Remember that 5k u collected.....Am certain it cannot be budget only logistics this is the military gentlemen everything has to be orderly.

I noticed at the end of almost all senior military officers names something like this appears: psc+, dss or both. What's the meaning of these decorations?

psc means Past Staff College, which is Armed forces command and staff college jaji in kaduna. its for those who attended both junior and senior course successfully there.
dss means Distinguished Service Star. its a sort of Medal.

that's not wat he meant...considering the new status quo, the result will be out january and interview February, final result aprill repoting of new cadets by june...expect slight changes though.
