It should not be, I got my best results when I did both. Just stick to 4h tf and above and u are golden. I am never going back to FT trading, all my dead demons plus the ones I did not know I had came to life.
Madam, I agree absolutely with you, its just only forward testing will convince one which works best. I tried daily pivots on 15mins tf, and monthly pivots on 4hr tf, I had mixed results on 15mins, but the result on 4hr tf was fantastic(I had 500pips last week alone). All i need is to reinforce what works in my subconscious and trash the "abiku" ones. Meanwhile, I can attest that too much time makes me trade out of context as i take more loosing trades when am on off duty. All in all, experience will teach one to know the best timeframe to trade, the best day of the week to trade, the best weeks of the month, the best months of the year...it all comes down to experience.

I think some losing traders just come here to catch fun. Meanwhile, Agbaka, u need to understand that because someone shares his indicator laden strategy with you and ended up with a margin call does not mean the strategy does not work. My opinion is that most pros know the exact market condition that makes the strategy a losing or a winning one. This come with a lot of experience, and I must tell u most of the so called pros cant put this nuances down in black and white, there edge which you dont have comes with experience. I have a mentor that changes strategy almost every week, but he later confessed that no matter the strategy he uses, his edge lies in identifying market bias based on daily open, and trades along this bias. In fact most of his successful trades happen within the early hours of london open, no indicator will tell you all this, so whether they use indicators or not, they usually have this edge they might be able to explain.

Thank you jaree.

Btw, I'm a Hector Trader..... Once I hit 150 pips (50 pips per trade), trading’s done for the week and back to offline matters.. All boils down to m/m at the end of the day.
I love hector devilles strategy, in the past after flirting around i usually come back to it,it works wonders when market is trending.
Meanwhile, is there anyone here that can help me with indicator or website that sends price alert to my phone. I used to use betonmarkets in the past, but they seem to have removed it from their site. I have a new strategy that involves entering the market at specific intraday price levels, i dont have the luxury of time to stare at the chart all through the day, so i need a tool to beep price alert on my phone, anyone pleaseeee.

That guy was right. IS YOU THAT NEED TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL. I just chat with your poor criminal broker BLACKWELLTRADER.COM and they said you MUST deposit 100$ to withdraw any profit from the NO DEPOSIT BONUS ACCOUNT.

After depositing my money them fit deny me the withdrawal and cancel the account. forget whether they pretend to be regulated or not na wash be that. FXCM US is regulated but they are a big thief check google. all the big brokers in the world na thieves. regulation is good but should not be a yardstick to sign up with a broker. abi you never hear of FAKE regulations.

Tom29: Lost my life savings to the signal posted here today who sent me I am weak now 95% of my account vanished first time I entered a signal here. where will I get this money back?

My account now remaining $12. I feel like committing suicide. Abeg fellow country men come to my rescue abeg abeg abeg. Calling on Seun to help me too.
Bro, stop blaming the signal you took, it has nothing to do with ur loss of 95%equity. What happened to your stoploss, your money management , your position sizing....am sure u risk this much so as to double your equity on just one trade, thank God you didnt do this with a 10k acoount, and even if you had won this trade, with ur rougue trading methology u would still have a margin call in the long run. Please check my past comments, you will see severally how i stuggled to find my feet in this bussiness (still struggling though) , I have had ten consecutive losses without a drawdown of less than 30%, the lesson from this is that no matter the size of ur account, it is the robustness of your risk management that will keep you long enough to find a strong footing in this bussiness. STOP UR ROGUE TRADING, go master money management, and drop ur ponzi scheme mentality ....if u think forex can make u rich overnight be prepared to go broke over night....wishing you the best.
