The Bible contains the Scriptures. Jesus himself studied the Scriptures cos that's what He used to overcome the devil's temptations. He always said “It is written..." He taught from the Scriptures in temple, most especially the book (writings) of Prophet Isaiah. The books written by Paul, John, Daniel etc were compiled to serve as a guide and source of inspiration to today's Christians. |
