Thank you so much fellow nairalanders. Please I have a question, does WES assess professional certifications like SPHR, PHRI and GPHR, as administered by HRCI? I mean in addition to your educational certificates. If not, is there any 'body that assesses this? |

Hello Nairalanders This seems to be an old thread but i hope i get answers. Please which decoder do i buy to watch mostly christain channels e.g Dove, Emmanuel , Dunamis etc.. |
![]() |
Hello Nairalanders. Please am considering buying a decoder that will have lots of religious channels (Dunamis, Dove, Emmanuel Tv etc) . I was considering STRONG Decoder but it seems to be out of stock in most shops. I also read of MultiTv and other types in this thread. Please advise on which to buy. My second question is, Are there some that dont need satellite dishes or do i need dishes for all of them. Please advise on the best to buy. My main emphasis is on the preaching channels. Thanks in advance |

fabraham: I'm not surprised by this question coming from a fellow sociologist.Practically, sociology is a versatile course because of the various spheres of human endeavours ranging from politics, education, work & occupation, health, law, religion etc. in Nigeria,a sociologist can work virtually every where but to be specific; As human resource officer, counselling, social worker, health practitioner(under medical sociology),para-military formations, lecturing and so many others. But the fact is,sociologists makes bigger money overseas compared to Nigeria.ENJOY YOUR COURSE WHILE IT LAST.** hello , wonderful answer u have here. U mentioned medical sociology. Pls throw more light on it 1 Like 1 Share |

Phonon: I understand your pain because I experienced it firsthand.I applied four times before I was finally called. When I did meet a rep from the HR department,he did say many times some applications goes to junk and many other times, one's application comes in late in the day after they must have pooled names to be shortlisted for that dat. Here are my suggestions:*** @ phonon. Man! U must have a good heart! Uve gotten ur offer letter , yet u still create time to visit some threads basically to give advice and offer help where necessary! Thanks man ! 2 Likes |

Naffysah: Well, both firms are great and am also stuck in d PWC_KPMG decision. I decided to choose unit over remuneration, cuz I'm been given d opportunity to be in a unit I love dt'll also offer me work-life balance @KPMG (Tax; C n B) whilst @ pwc, I cld be placed in a unit dt wouldn't offer d work-life balance. @ify4charm, I guess d decision basically lies in what u really want 4rm dose firms;remuneration, career projection, exposure, trainin etc. All d best in makin ur decision honey! Twas a hell of a decision 2make buh I finally did N I so hope, I did d ryt thn****** congrates Naffysah to u and others who have received their offer letter. Pls I have some questions , I hope u do make out time to answer. 1)why did u choose C and B, supposing u were/are asked that question. 2) what were the 3 stages of interview like? Was there group accesment or sth? . 3) when did u write the test, and what was d duration btw d respective interviews. Would appreciate if u respond., sorry if am asking 4 too much *side note; C and B is one of my choices, thank u |

Phonon: To be honest,I would say I don't know. When I wrote my test in November 2012 and did two interviews within two weeks,I actually thought I would be called at most by January 2013.Here we are in August after all the wait. There is a possibility that you might finish everything before training starts in September but I would advice you just keep your mind off and explore other options while you wait for their response. It could go anyway but just keep your fingers crossed. Thanks for the congratulatory message.ALL THE BEST.****thanks a lot, I'd keep waiting.Guess its pointless calling them @ any stage. Or what do u think? |
![]() |
Phonon: Letter received.* congrates Phonon, u finally made it. thanks for ur comments/contributions have been realy helpful*thanks a lot* for someone that just wrote the test ,last month, how long will the wait be? Jux wondering ohh |

Olola15: primus, i will need yur help on somtn. You seem to have gone far ahead in the recruitment process.i wrote mai test in April, was successful. I chose Forensics. i just did my first interview on monday 29th July with a Senior associate in Forensic unit. From what i gathered from your post in this thread, the assessment centre was the next thing after submission of your credentials buh this has not been the case for me. Is the assessment centre only for the audit unit or should i be still be expecting it?***congrates soo far.some questions for you 1) pls wat was ur response wen they asked u, why forensic? 2) since Forensic is still under Audit, what should b my response if am asked why I crossed over to audit since I did a non-commercial discipline in school? * pls odas can also answer |

[quote author=primus_maximus] Congrats bro, you could be asked questions frm ur CV, application form, course u studied, general questions like strengths n weaknesses and ofkus 'why Audit??', U might be asked puzzles too.. It really depends on the partner u meet as dey seem to av their own styles.. Neva heard of any1 failin partner interview so just be relaxed n do ur thing. *congrates primus , pls I'd like to know wat weakness is ideal? |
