Hi Guys, I & my family applied for a 6 months visitor visa for my aunty. Applied 26th October, Documents Submitted & Biometrics done on 1st Nov. Now we received an email today 9th Nov that DHL has picked up the passport and it will be delivered tomorrow. It seems so fast & it was not priority service. We didn’t get a refusal email. Do you think it was granted? This is her first uk visa application. Thank you. 1 Like |

Hello everyone. My aunty is applying for a UK visitor’s visa. My sister is inviting her and she works in one of the Fortune 50 companies, so she all her invite info is intact. My sister will sponsor the trip and will submit her bank statement & job information as required. However, my aunty is a businesswoman, she owns a registered salon, but does not have tax documents. Is it important to submit a tax document with her business bank statement? If yes, how does one go about getting it legitimately. Also is there anything we can add that will help the application? The only travel history my aunt has is to South Africa about 4 years ago. Thank you. |

Hello all. I tried paying for the Microsoft Power BI DA exam, and chose Nigeria as my location. However, the platform did not accept my USD card. A friend of mine tried helping me pay from Canada but it didn’t work. I’m thinking it’s because I chose Nigeria as my location. However, if i choose USA or Canada, the cost of the exam doubles. Kindly advise. |

Hello all, A friend has been trying to make payment for his PR application for a week but keeps getting an error message. It’s not a card issue because it shows error before the payment details page (after signing the declaration). So he hasn’t even gotten to the card part. He has tried clear cache, incognito tab & even downloaded other browsers & still no luck. Also filled the technical issues webform and no response yet. Time isn’t on their side. Any advice?

Thank you very much. Someone sent me the contact of a Ghana agent to help make the payment and the person said it’s N47,300 per person. Is this the actual exchange rate? I.e. N100 = 1 GHC. Cos google says it’s N55. I just want to make sure I’m not being cheated. Thank you. ChiefVal: |

Praise the Lord! Our God is awesome I honestly wasn’t interested in applying to Canada. I was part of the ‘if we leave Nigeria who will be left to build it’ gang. LOL! Till a hard reality slapped me in the face with our horrible health care system. I lost a dear loved one, and money couldn’t help us in that situation; the system was defunct! Their website has a lot of glitches, it happens to me too. Just keep trying. Also, I noticed it happens less when I use Microsoft Internet Explorer and not google chrome. Tessie89: 1 Like |

Hello all, I am posting this information on the PR Biometrics update at VFS Global Ikate, Lekki, because I searched through nairaland, but could not find the necessary info prior to my appointment. I hope this helps someone else. My Biometrics Appointment date was today 22nd February at the above address after obtaining my Biometrics Instruction Letter (BIL) on the 17th of Feb. Ensure you take the following with you for your appointment: - Valid International Passport - 2 photocopies of your international passport data page (write your email & phone number on both copies) - Print out of your BIL - Print out of your VFS appointment letter - A pen The whole process took about 1.5hours in total. It was not as slow as I expected. Please ensure you do your photocopies at home as the internet centers around charge N500 per page! I forgot my BIL and had to pay 1500 to printout 3 pages Also, the VFS center for Canada on the 1st floor, has a photocopying machine. I was able to make a photocopy of my international passport for free, as I took only one photocopy with me. But I'll advise you photocopy at home, just incase that copier is faulty. Also, ensure you confirm your VFS appointment in the email you receive after scheduling the date. If not there will be a system error with regards to your appointment. Success to everyone. 35 Likes 13 Shares |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: 2015 Nestoil Recruitment by Ella2000: 7:00pm On Aug 04, 2015 |
I called someone in the HR department of Nestoil and was informed that they have halted recruitment for now. The lady said when they need us we would be contacted. She gave no further details. Then heard from a family friend that the new government is the cause, as the large pipeline project Nestoil was recruiting for has been halted by the new regime. If I have further information I will not hesitate to pass it across. |
