mechoau: I do not need to argue with you or anyone about this. Go to your bank and you would confirm that all Nigerian banks provide the service for embassies (not only the British High Commission) to be able to access applicant's bank statements through a password that you would submit with your application. 1 Like |

princetx: Go to your bank and tell them you want to send your bank statement to the British High Commission. They would give you a form to fill where you would state the duration of the statement. Your account would be debited and your bank would give you just one page that contains a password that would enable the British High Commission to be able to see your statement from their end. It is just this one page you would upload on TLS. Even if your statement is 1,000 pages you would just upload one page while the British High Commission would be able to view the 1,000 pages. This is how I uploaded my statements when I applied last year, visa was issued so the process works. 1 Like |

cutebear: I remember you posted in this thread on October 29, 2021 on page 619 that you invested in crypto and had 4 large deposits in your account. I remember responding to you on page 620 (screenshot below). The Nigerian Government has not expressly banned Nigerians from trading in crypto with any law. Until the Nigerian Government enacts a law banning cryptocurrency, it remains legal in Nigeria and can be declared on visa applications. As my husband declared he was a full time crypto trader and we were issued UK visas it means that any applicant that declares that he is a crypto trader would not be refused a visa just because of that declaration. If he is refused a visa it is because of another reason. My husband made a second trip alone to the UK in November 2021 and when he stated at the point of entry at Manchester Airport that he would stay for a little over 1 month, the UK Border Agency official asked him what he does in Nigeria and he stated that he is a crypto trader. He was not denied entry, the officer even joked that he would start trading cryptocurrency. So please stop trying to make full time crypto traders scared of applying for visa and declaring their legitimate source of income. 1 Like

cutebear: I don't think your dealing with crypto is an issue and would prevent you from being issued a UK visa. My husband is a full time crypto trader and he declared it when we applied for UK visa in May. He uploaded screenshots of his metamask wallet showing his balance and his binance wallet showing his balance. He explained in his cover letter that several large payments into his bank accounts from several people are from people that bought crypto and paid him from binance peer to peer. Despite this we were both issued visas, we travelled in July spent a month and we are back to Nigeria. 1 Like |
