Omo! My story long as I’ve previously had a student visa refusal earlier this year (CAS was withdrawn because UKVI didn’t make a decision on time) but let me just break it down to the basics!

For this application;

CAS came in July 26th 2023

Visa Application same July 26th 2023

Biometrics at TLS Ikeja (Standard) July 31st 2023


NO NSF, NO INTERVIEW


Application Transferred to VAC/Collection mail August 9th 2023 🍾 (Exactly 6 months after my previous student visa refusal on February 9th 2023).

Like it is written in Luke 21:13 “AND IT SHALL TURN TO YOU FOR A TESTIMONY”

Indeed, It really has!

How much is your tuition fees?

If you inputed the wrong figure for whatever reason, I suggest you add a cover letter to explain the whole thing so that you don't appear to be deceptive.

Good evening everyone. Gurus in the house please I need your help,

I received my CAS yesterday and immediately went ahead to apply for my visa but my cas was reflecting £15,400 as fees (which I thought I had got a discount or scholarship as my school had previously mentioned something of sort).

I however, some minutes ago, got an updated CAS reflecting £16,300 as my fees. My POF is enough to cover the fees in the now amended CAS statement and I am yet to upload the necessary documents (meaning I can still upload the new CAS) but I’m a bit uneasy as I have previously filled £15,400 in my application form.

Please is this something to be worried about?
Because I do not want to be perceived as a liar by UKVI or should I be less worried?
with the assurance that my school must have sent UKVI the previous cas and sent them the amended one too as an error on their path because they did send me an apology mail.

1. Yes if it is stated in your CAS to submit it

2. You can declare it without uploading the refusal mail

3. NYSC should suffice,your study gap is approximately 4years

3. Hope I wouldn’t need any employment letter/reference as I graduated 2019, started NYSC 2021 and finished 2022 (couldn’t go 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak).. I hope my NYSC certificate can suffice?

While my POF is running and Oando rate goes beyond the amount I need BUT eventually drop to correspond with what I need for POF before the 28 days cycle finishes.
Is it advisable to still use that statement of account?

For example;

I started my POF with 800/£ when Oando rate is 600.. then the rate goes up to 850/£ and eventually drops back to
600/£ as at my date of application and submission. Can I still go ahead to use that statement of account?

This isn't an option. You defer, the school informs UKVI and your visa is curtailed.

Hello House, if I get my visa late and defer my admission till September but still travel to the UK.. when school resumes september, do I have to request for a new CAS and pay IHS fee again for the period of the new session?

Or I only have to extend my visa when it expires?

Hello House!! The whole thing with UKVI is really very tiring and frustrating. Did biometric at Tls Ikeja 30-12-22.. till this moment, no Decision made. I’ve made paid call twice/paid mail, escalated the case too but nothing yet. Was told to wait another 15 working days.. problem now is my school has resumed since 23rd.

Although I’m keeping them on the know, it’s still very annoying as application is stuck at DMC and if delay continues it may be impossible to meet up the deadline for late registration. Is there anyone with a similar case? I’m confused as hell
