@Linearity, Then it may surprise you that MTN is already test running LTE in Abuja on a pivot run. This is being done with Huawei as their partner, Airtel is also working on deploying some LTE nodes and are also working with Huawei on same.
so dont be surprised if these netwroks roll out LTE services as soon as the government agencies give them the required frequencies.

Thanks so much for your contributions to this trend, i have found it very informative and even used it to guide me in making some decisions about my career path.
I now work with a vendor as a Transmission Engineer, but in order to improve my skills I am in serious need of Trainings in DWDM, and Tellabs NMS. I dont know if you know of any institute around 9ja that can help me out with these. I need these training to make my next big leap in the industry.

Let Your child be, Left handed people are some of the most intelligent people in the world, guess i don't need to list new examples, previous posters have done more than enough of that.

I presently work with a telecoms servicing firm, I am mostly involved with the maintenance of fiber optic backbone of 2 leading gsm operators, and one of the cdma operator.

I was thinking of getting into the main stream telco world but do not know how to proceed, I have a background in Computer Science and Mathematics, and adequate networking knowledge too.
