Please did you get a notification from VFS or DHL to pick up your package? Can you share your timelines because I submitted since April 26th to VFS Lagos and have still not heard anything back since I heard it got to IRCC GHANA on May 24th

Q1-Yes, I got notifications about the movement of my passport, from Accra VO to IRCC and back, but I did not get notificationsaboyt counterfoils etc in my IRCC Profile uuntil a day before my passport got returned to Lagos.
In terms of timeline, submitted May 4 (DHL) Dispatched to VFS May same day, left Lagos to Accra VO May 5, got to VO May 24, processed May 25, returned to Accra VO June 2nd, got to Lagos June 9.
Q2.- I got notification that it had gotten to Lagos VFS but given that I paid for a 2 way delivery, I called dhl and was told it was at their Lekki Center so I went there to pick it up.
Use your vfs teacking number to track the movement on the vfs Lagos website or call their number and give your tracking number for updates.

I did, I submitted on 4th of May. Picked up my passport today from DHL. My profile wasn't updated until my passports was on its way back, so don't worry if you are not getting notifications.

My timeline:
Finished TCF & IELTS earlier in the year (2021) WES ECA Apr 2021.
My CRS was about 519 so I changed the order of the languages to lower my score.
Ontario EOI French stream: May 2021.
Confirmation of nomination : June 2021
ITA & ePRA July 2022. AoR came same day application was submitted.
Biometrics: November 2021
April 2022: medical request. Done on 20 April. Passed on 01 May.
VO: Sydney
RFV (ready for visa) mail: 09 May 2022.
Passport sent: 12 May. Passport received: 06 June. (I don't live in Nigeria so wise not to use this stamping turnaround time as reference).

1 thing I observed is that we do worry ourselves needlessly.

1- The day I went to do my ID photographs, the first studio I entered printed 2 really good quality pictures. But there were 2 lines running across my forehead. The photographer said its rolling film whatever and claimed that even if he took another shot the lines would still be there. I paid and went into another studio. The picture quality here was sub-par but there were no lines I added both sets of photos to my package giving IRCC the honour to choose.
Guess what? They preferred the picture with the lines. And they did not return the other set to me

2- After I'd sent my passport, I was expecting a notification about counterfoil generation. That's what I have been reading in the CoPR stories. Instead I got a mail from VFS stating "The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No....... has been received from the IRCC Office on Thu Jun 02 2022 and will be dispatched to the Canada Visa Application Centre where you applied or at the courier address provided by you at the time of submission of your application". I became restless. Does this mean that my application was rejected and so no visa generated for me? I went to Google to search for people who got RFV mail and sent their passport but visa was denied them. Of course, I found nothing.

3- When my RFV mail came in, my application status in my profile was showing only medicals as passed. All other assessment elements were still "We are reviewing..."
When the notification of passport leaving IRCC for VFS came only medicals was still showing as passed ( this contributed to the panic).
As I am typing this, even though I've seen the visa on my passport, my status remains "We are reviewing..."

By the way, my CoPR is valid till 01May 2023 -  exactly1year after the medicals passed date not the date I did the medicals nor the date the centre sent my results.

You just narrated my ordeal, we must have missed each other on google while looking for what isn't missing, only thing is I got the vfs mail on thursday but yet to get a call from vfs or courier company to pick up passports. Guess twas leaving Ghana on thursday and yet to get to lagos.

Hi, at the time, it was 9,3something but I approximated it to 9,500. Thing is, no two applications are the same. They move at fifference pace. I understand the passports are transferred in batches, so if ther are to transmitt say, 200 and you are no 5 by submission, your passport might take a little while, but don't worry, verry soon. Somesubmiyted about the sane time as I did and got it earlier. I know its hard but just watch the space. It will come.

Hi please how much did you pay at Sterling bank, to get your passport across to IRCC?

Mine was at thesame time as yours but I have not gotten any email confirming that my document has been processed. The last email i got was on the 9th of May affirming that my document has gotten to IRCC and it's being processed. Till now no Email. P confirm how much u paid for to and fro.

It was my mistake, it was 4th of May. Got several notifications, I only summed up the ones i considered useful for the purpose of this chat.

You will get your documents back this week. Also did you mean you submit to VFS Lagos on 4th of April or 4th of May? Because if it’s 4 of April that was 2 months ago not 1 month. Did you only get 2 updates in total?

Thank you, I submitted via lagos vfs on 4th May 2022, got notification that it was processed on 24 May. Got another notification on 02 June that is been returned to VAC to be transmitted to vfs Lagos. Almost 4 weeks in all. Hope this clarifies.

Update soon. Sometimes it takes 2-5 days after getting the email before ircc updates your profile.

Give us more details about the specific dates you submitted, the visa application center you submitted to (Lagos, Abuja or directly to Accra)?and how many weeks it took in total?
