Business / Nigeria Economy 2019 Review In Terms Of Currency Rates And Inflation by emekadeba: 10:09am On Jan 24, 2020
Nigerian Economy has been stabile in terms of Nigerian Naira exchange rates in 2019. However drastic rises in inflation rates beginning from September has swept away the quiet scene.

Some highlights worth attention are GBP to Naira rates, Rand to Naira rates and inflation rates after closure of borders in August.

Both are very good platforms. I have used Udemy before and I am very happy with the content and massive amount of courses you can reach there. I am not so sure if you can have as many options in Lynda. And the monthly subscription fee method used in Lynda is a bit different from Udemy. You may have to pay for whole month although you want to take just a few hours. It depends on the course content you want to attend (in which platform is your perfect match course?) and the frequency you like to do it in terms of cost effectiveness.
Business / Re: The Most Strongest (highest) Currencies In The World 2019 by emekadeba: 2:50pm On Jul 25, 2019
Yes, Naira is deep down in the list. However, 2019 is not a very bad year for Naira so far. When we look at commonly traded currencies in Nigeria mainly only 2 rates had obvious rise against Naira both on parallel market and CBN in the first half of 2019, these are:

Pound to Naira, 1.76% rise on parallel market, 0.21% acc. to CBN :

Rand to Naira, 3.45% rise on parallel market, 2.46% acc.to CBN :

Other than these 2 rates Naira mostly gained value against other currencies.

Pound does not have the highest value in the world but it is obviously on rise this year, as it is one of the few ones gaining value against Naira.
Business / Naira Exchange Rates And Nigeria Inflation 2019 First Half Review by emekadeba: 2:24pm On Jul 25, 2019
Naira exchange rates and Nigeria inflation rate has been rather stable in the first half of 2019 when compared to previous years. Nigerian naira has value gains against most of the foreign currencies except for Pound to Naira and Rand to Naira rates according to both CBN and parallel market.

Inflation is in the 11.22-11.4% range, inflation rate is lower and more stable compared to previous years.

These may be good signs for Nigeria economy.

Here is a detailed analysis on Naira exchange rates and Nigeria inflation based on 2019 first 6 month numbers:

Being a software developer is a good objective for your career. But do not think of it tied to a single programming language like Java. What matters the most in Software development is learning and using the most recent and trending tools, frameworks or programming languages and keep learning continuously. Learning Dart and Flutter are great opportunities in terms of this continuous learning (better than Java). You will be solving real world problems in your startup with these languages, this is another great step for being a software developer. What is more Android OS and Android Studio IDE is a very closely related and compatible concepts with Java.

So my opinion is what you have around you are great opportunities to become a Software Engineer and you will be able learn Java easily as a next step after mastering Dart, Flutter and Android.
