Some reality television stars are able to cling onto fame for years after their initial debut. Others become lost in time. Things haven't worked out very well for former American Idol star Antonella Barba. As reported by TMZ, Barba has been arrested for the distribution of heroin. According to the Norfolk Sheriff's Office, Barba was arrested on Thursday in Virginia just before noon, and was hit with a felony charge for heroin distribution of 100g or more. She is currently being held in jail without bond, with a court date scheduled for next week.

Barba took part in the 6th season of American Idol in 2007, but was eliminated right before the top 12 were chosen. She was at the center of a mild scandal while on the show when a photo of her wearing a wet t-shirt while dipped in the fountain of Washington D.C.'s National World War II Memorial began circulating. Barba was arrested for shoplifting in New York in 2011, but still appeared on Fear Factor the following year. It was reported earlier today that Tekashi 6ix9ine was kidnapped and robbed early this morning. According to reports, the rainbow-haired rapper was returning home from a video shoot around 4 AM, but when he got home his driveway was blocked in. Three disguised assailants knocked Tekashi out and placed him in their vehicle. The attackers drove around with Tekashi, who awoke to death threats. The thieves then pulled back up to Tekashi's crib and had one member guard him while the other two raided the house. The rapper's baby momma and child were home, but were not harmed. The attackers stole about $750k in jewelry and between $15k and $20k in cash.

Rapper XXXTentacion has died following a shooting in South Florida, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.

Earlier in the day, a source had told Variety that the rapper, whose real name is Jahseh Onfroy, has been critically wounded.

TMZ first reported that Bleep had “no pulse” following the incident.

A Broward County official initially said there was “a developing incident regarding a shooting” located in Deerfield Beach, about 43 miles north of Miami, in which an “adult male victim was transported to an area hospital.” That 20-year-old male was later identified as Jahseh Onfroy, aka s XXXTentacion.

Women's rights organisation UltraViolet wrote a letter to Spotify CEO Daniel Ek asking that the streaming service remove artists responsible for or accused of sexual abuse including Chris Brown, 6ix9ine and more.

The group - founded in 2012 - lauded Spotify for taking the first steps in removing abusers from its platform after removing R. Kelly, XXXTentacion and Tay-K from its official playlists.

"Your action demonstrates that Spotify is following the lead of Black women who demanded that these two men, who have sexually and physically abused women for years, not be promoted and celebrated.
