Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Biggest Government Scandal In Nigeria: Lets See How They Would Survive This: by emmigrant0(m): 7:56pm On Feb 21, 2010
This a slap to someones right to freedom and if actually the Governor did this i will say let justice be done. As for the young man i stay by your side to freedom but i want you to compare your case to the of the prime minister of Zimbabwe MORGAN SHANGARAI how stood his grounds and was beaten my PRESIDENT ROBERT MOGABE but at the end he got to his destiny. Many so called politicians in Nigeria are of this nature to stay in power and do whatever they like in the name of power but the fact remains that power intoxicates and that's why many falls along the line of their challenges not to forget issues like DO OR DIE (OBASANJO) AND YOUTH ERNESTLY SUPPORT ABACHA (ABACHAS REGIME). So this issues of using power to intimidate Nigerians most stop at ones.

Young man do not give up until you meet the face of justice but as a person and a christian you have to forgive him while you seek justice i will like to conclude by saying David had so many opportunities to eliminate king Soul but he did not and allowed justice to come from God and you will agree with me that soul met his fall in a battle front. Your case is not different whoever raise his hands on you if only what you are telling us is true, will definitely meet his fall.

Let all human right activist come to the aid and support of this young Nigerian who as proves that the Governor is a purported ole.

Jeffery.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nairalanders, Please Watch The Date B/4 Anything by emmigrant0(m): 11:39am On Jun 12, 2008
it is better if a poster writes his name and the date to which he is making the post so that whoever reads it sees the date at which such a post is made. cool

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Working With Arik Air by emmigrant0(m): 8:45am On May 26, 2008
I know from the on set that the chairman is from Edo State but remember also that the so called whitees will always make him believe that they are expatriate and can handle situations which i refer to as SHOWS. Then what do you think a foolish Nigerian will do in as much as his money continues to pile as a result of slavery?

Those working in such a useless organization like Arik Air should just stick to my earlier Advise and report to labour or Organize a Union of their own and demonstrate peacefully therafter attack the beggars.

This useless whitees, i can bet are always scared of Union so do something guys.

Tamedu, well it is highly disheartening to hear this especially at this point in time when things are so difficult for Nigeria and Nigerians home and Abroad with south Africa as a case study. But i want advice Nigerians Working there that they should remember that they are in their Father land and be prepare to take the bull by the horn. the so called my Point and Kill is a foreigner and should not become a god (small G in quote) in our own land, rather should be seen as an ordinary man. They should go with the slogan "SOLIDARITY FOREVER", "ANOTHER CHALLENGE" or "ALUTA" etc and face the Bastered. I once did it to one bastered Lebanese and until i left the organisation he was calling me a REBEL. See i want to assure you guys working there that Labour is solidly behind you, just write officially to them and as for me go and take the bull by the horn, if you are demonstrating make sure the press is there so that your case will be clear to Nigerians.

Pippi
you can only send scanned copies of your credentials after you most have been given an id number that is after you most have filled the online application form. Given you the email address when you have not been given your own personal ID is extremely useless because your ID will be the Subject.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nnpc Site by emmigrant0(m): 1:01pm On May 23, 2008
I debunk your statement though i wasn't the one that first posted the advert but i most say here that i bought Daily trust the said day it was POSTED as well as punch news papers and confirmed it. The site opened on the 22nd we posted and got a confirmation Number and where given emails to send credentials to.

Now if you have tried and it fail remember two things
1. Network Congestion.
2. Technical Problems.

So My advice is that you should try it in the Night or First thing in the Morning. It is very authentic.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Nnpc Site by emmigrant0(m): 12:26pm On May 23, 2008
If its not opening it might be as a result of congestion or Technical problem but i will advise landers to use the site either very early in the morning or later at night.

Its a Design training program for Engineers held last Saturday at the Mei Dei Hotel opposit Pan African University by Mobil Filling Station Ajah. The Main pourpose is to train Engineers on Variouse Engineering Soft wares and it is organised by PTDF/NNPC. you can also read this articule for clearity. wink

PTDF Presents Certificate to Graduates of PTDF/NNPC Engineering Design training Program.

The Federal Government directive to domicile Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Engineering Design (DEED) in-country brought about the need to train the necessary indigenous manpower required to fill the existing skills gap in the industry.
Skills gap analysis shows a demand for at least 2,600 engineers and 2,500 welders relative to on-going & upcoming projects (2006-2010) in the industry. The PTDF and NNPC therefore embarked upon capacity building initiatives such as the Engineering Design Training Program (EDTP) in order to equip and provide the required skilled Nigerians to take up the opportunities provided by the industry.

The Engineering Design Training Program (EDTP) commenced with a pilot phase during the third quarter of 2006 with the training of 100 Engineers in the use of HYSYS (Software for process simulation) and 150 Engineers in the use of PDMS (Plant Design and Management Systems), for a total of 250 trainees. Other design software which will also enhance Nigerians to participate effectively in the development of the indigenous industry through Front End Engineering Designs (FEED) and Detailed Engineering Designs (DEED) will commence shortly.

The training programme is being undertaken jointly between the NNPC and the PTDF under a collaboration tagged “Job Creation through Partnering” and the funding for the Pilot phase (whose graduands were presented with certificates of participation on the 15th May 15, 2007 at the PTDF head office) was undertaken at a cost of over $1,000,000.00 (1 million dollars) and funded by the NNPC.

At the presentation of the certificates, the executive secretary in his speech said; ‘Let me also inform you that, for the further advancement of skills of Nigerian Engineers, a structured framework has been put in place to ensure continuous deployment of the skills that have been acquired by trainees during the engineering design training program’. In this regard, some participating engineering design companies have created openings for attachment to ensure that all graduates of the Engineering Design Software are engaged and kept busy pending availability of live-projects, without which the skills acquired would be lost. The training program therefore provides for attachment of the trainees to these designated companies with workload for a maximum period of six months. These trainees will undergo an on-the-job-training on live projects and the PTDF will pay each of the qualified trainees a stipend to augment their transportation and feeding during these periods of attachment. Of the 250 that were trained under the pilot phase, 69 are being placed with the participating Oil and Gas Design companies where they are expected to continue the post-training attachment program designed to enable them practice the acquired skills through an integrated mentoring, coaching and on-the-job training exercise.

The executive secretary said that, PTDF target is to train 2600 engineers based on the identified industry needs for the period 2006-2010. Consequently, the PTDF and NNPC would commence the main phase of this program wherein the remaining 2,350 engineers would be trained under a funding arrangement to be borne by the PTDF.
Already, the PTDF has obtained all the requisite authorizations and approvals to begin the main phase which is estimated to cost about $10 million.

In that regard, advertisements have been placed and about 9,000 Nigerians keyed into the system out of which about 6,000 applications were successfully placed into our data base. Already about 2,000 applicants have been short listed for training scheduled to commence on 4th of June 2007 in Port Harcourt and Lagos for HYSYS and PDMS respectively. The two programs will be handled by Lonadek Ltd and WEAM & Company Ltd representing AVEVA and ASPENTECH.

I was apart of those who wrote the last NNPC test (2007) infact i wrote mine at the Benin center ( Uni Ben to be precise). the Exams is mainly set by WAEC and for Engineers there is this GMAT Engineeering flow Diagram and descriptions.

All the Best to those who will be oppoutuned to write this year. I made the first stage but was not fortunate in the next stage.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Is Mba At Lasu Fake? by emmigrant0(m): 12:55pm On Mar 28, 2008
I like your contribution to this subject matter Newsweek, and i believe fellow landers are reading this. the problem with LASU is just logistic and i believe this is common with most schools and for sure those expecting their cert will definitely get it one day. i9 just bought my own form and i want to debunk any negative advise of weather the school is good or bad because:
"the same rain that fell on a better leaf tree that makes it to be better is also the same that fell on a sugar Cain stalk that makes it sweet"
so whoever is buying should buy and do his or her best for sure one day the cert will come and such a person will definitely smile.

nossycheek pls i want you to help me the details of how everthing went during your procession and also you can assist me with the entrance question papers via this email emmigrant01@yahoo.co.uk. i will be gratefully if you can assist. smiley
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Is Mba At Lasu Fake? by emmigrant0(m): 10:53am On Mar 27, 2008
well i dont see anything wrong with LASU and i must say here that i am neither a staff now a student of Lasu. i just tried to investigate from the fact that i was made to understand that their Partime programs are done on sat: Cams. so if the institution accepts it that way and you happen to be a worker what stops you? Besides i have people that did their masters and are doing fine smiley
