I will never ever think of moving back to Nigeria to resettle after all this years abroad. My experience the last time was unbearable for my safety and that of my family i will never make such decision again.
This might not go down with some people back home but i hope my opinion counts to those who care. Nigeria is my country and i am satisfied with were i am now. I will always visit when time permits me to do so and will always put safety first before any other thing.

MARK-REN:

To those of you who support this extortion in the name of concessionaire. It goes to show how short your memories are.

This road was built as a dual carrage lane almost 20 years ago by a democratically elected Govt (Lateff Jakande) along with the huge estate in order to ease housing problems in Lagos state. There has been no significant maintenance work on that road since then.

We are now meant to pay tolls for this road initially built by tax payers money. Anyone who understands how tolls work know that it  is usually levied on new roads, bridges or tunnels constructed from scratch, while the charges are minimal and adjusted for inflation since it is for a long time- 25-40 years.

All LCC did was to add one additional lane (not two or even 3 - This road is still smaller than Ikorodu road a major highway which has 5 Lanes and was built in the 70s) and some round abouts over a stretch that is less than 20KM.

How can anyone who lives in that area and provides him or herself with water, security, schools, inner streets & roads to access their houses, justify the exorbitant charge despite the other taxes & levies we are made to pay.

By my computation LCC will recover its investment in less than 5 years . How can they then justify the sums to be collected in the remaining 25 years,

For those of you who support it because you can afford it (wheather legitimately or otherwise), I put it to you nothing lasts forever (IBB, Abacha & OBJ all thought they could rule Nigeria forever). Four years from now ACN will reap what it has sown here mark my words. Tinubu's rule/strangle hold on Lagos will cease when this time is up.
Dude why don't you pack to Ajegunle and transact your business within that axis and stop complaining. I guess because Nigeria is an oil producer therefor fuel should be free in Nigeria. Change your mind set and you will see your development.
Politics / Re: Victory At Last: FG Cancels Lekki Toll Gate Charges by endmoll(m): 8:47pm On Dec 19, 2011
For those of you who are crying about paying at the toll gate, if you can afford to buy a car worth millions of naira then you should shut your mouth and pay for the freaking toll.
Many of you always refer and talk of western countries forgeting that there  citizens are the ones that helped make there country what it is today. So any body coming here to make noise about the toll should suck it up and move to Ajegunle were he or she will not pay toll PERIOD.
Every one of us wants to go to heaven but we are all afraid to die,for us to attain to a developed nation we must learn how to first pay taxes and pay for the services that we enjoy be it electricity, water, road, healthcare and then being accountable.
I hate the when people come out here to make noise and think every thing should be free because they are citizens of the earth thereby it is there birth right to have a those amnesties without paying for it.
Most of us who come out here to yell at the government most times can't even manage there own families but they have a perfect vision of how a country should be run. I am not saying that every thing is going well in Nigeria but we need to look inwards at our self, the change we need has to start from me and you before the government can change.
Who are the government? This the question we need to ask ourselves, until we get to the answer that is when we can start to have visible change in our comunity

Romance / Re: Are Nigerian Babes Losing Out On Nigerian Men? by endmoll(m): 12:42am On Nov 09, 2011
This is an interesting topic. Actually, there are lots of differences in sexual relationships between African women, and her European or American counterpart. I have observed, however that the African women (Nigeria) seem to be more reserved and somehow timid to demonstrate her fillings while in bed. Beside unlike her European o American counterpart, they are freer in bed, and get wet quickly thereby allowing you to enjoy your penetrations easily. The African women takes time to get wet thereby dificulting a free and easy penetration, in most cases you may get hurt in the process. The European or American women is also very flexible while in bed, allowing you to manipulate her to what ever position you may want unlike the African women that is somehow very hard and in most cases get tired very often.

Thanks bro.
Yes the US Citizenship can be revoked if one commits a crime against the State like terrorism in or out of the US. It can also be revoked if one is convicted of trying to overthrow a foreign Government or if one is convicted of being a foreign spy. Bottom line do not do anything that will be against the interest of the United States which you swore your allegiance to the day you took the oath when you became a citizen. The Native American's are not the White Settlers who came first in the Mayflower ship from the present day UK/IRELAND to Boston but the Cherokees,Apache,Comanche etc. This Native American's although killed to nearly the point of extinction by the White visitors are the ONLY AUTHENTIC AMERICAN'S and cannot be stripped of their citizenship no matter what they do. Funny as it may sound they are also the only ones who you will NEVER say this America is ours as compared to the Whites and Blacks who once upon a time them or their ancestors were immigrant and the joker of the pack are Naturalized African's who are quick to shout their Americaness when it is not necessary. Don't get me wrong,it is cool to be an American but humility is also called for no matter what passport you carry.
I think that the best word on your reply was HUMILITY period. But don't forget that the advantages of having a western passport supasses that of Nigeria come rain come shine,we have a lot of work still to do before Nigeria can get to were it is supposed to be. Starting from me and you where ever we find ourselves.

its always fun to pick and have a laff on nigeria/ nigeria's image, POster clap for yourself  undecided undecided

aS FOR BluMagic, Justdumb, Endmoll, Sapele, and all others that have nothing other to say about  that nigeria other than it is a failed state/ shithole/ etc- clap for yourselves, as you all are sso happy to safely say that from whichever foreign enclave you reside in, i hope you forever experience the 2nd class treatment of low class foreigneres, stoopid people who have no pride,
To be frank with you I am enjoying being a second class citizen as you rightly said. i will love you to compare the life you have where ever you are in Nigeria with the life of some body in Ghana not to talk of any other western nation.
I wish you can think out of the box or get a bit of exposure for you to understand that Nigerians are enslaved by there own choice or making.
I don't know what effort you are making to make niNigeriareat once again, but for me i have chosen a path and your views can not change that.

I'm wit u on dat one bro. Nigeria is a shithole & will always continue 2 be 1. If all those Nigerians loved Nigeria so much, they never shld have left Nigeria & why even bother to take up another nationality. I denounced Nigeria d minute I took up American citizenship. Nigeria sucks America Rocks.

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
I thought that my dear nation (Nigeria) would be striving to be one of the most developing nations in the world, but we turned to a bunch of lawless and inhumanless nation.
I am a Nigerian with Nigerian blood flowing in me but i will never stop criticising till there is a positive change in my fatherland. America gave most of us what we lacked in Nigeria and that is why we are proud to say what we want to say without the fear of being mobbed or silenced, you don't ever make that mistake in Nigeria or else you will be wasted.
We have a constitution that favours the rich but the common man on the street is not protected by that same constitution.
I will always brandish out my what ever kpali to any immigration officer rather the Nigerian kpali, who ever is unhappy with that should keep on hating, I have my life to live and will love to live it in it's fullest FREEDOM/RESPECT/JUSTICE/EQUALITY/LOVE/PEACE FOR ALL!!!

All these patriotic n(N)igerians coming out her to yell and make noise, most of you have British and American passports.
Why is it that you took another nationality?
Where you forced to be American or British?
Why don't you stay in Nigeria to make it work like the western countries?
Nigeria is a failed state and it is never going to get better,i thought that those of you who are Americans should learn how to respect other peoples view of how they see Nigeria. (freedom of expression)

I won't forget the insult my wife got at the Nigeria embassy in Newyork just because she wanted to get a visa to visit my Father land,i was totally ashamed of myself.
I am a Nigerian and will say some thing good about Nigeria when i see changes,i hope all these Nigerian/Americans can respect my views.

Prostitution and/or women trafficking is not unique to Nigeria, It occurs in all cultures and races as well. For some reason, using Nigeria as a negative news item seems to sell in foreign climes!
Does that mean that we should condone the tarnishing of our image internationally?

Autos / Re: Best Bargain Prices At US Auction - Updated With Latest Information by endmoll(m): 2:48am On Jun 07, 2011
0lumide:

Make sure you pay inspection fees if you are bidding at an authorized site. If not, you will jam trouble. And most of all the auction cars aren't as described some come with frame damage. aWhatever you do, stay away from ridesafely,  They bid for you, but if the price is too cheap, the buy the car for themselves, strip some parts, then call you to tell you the insurance company giving out the car didn't approve your bid that you need to add some more,  If your maximum bid is $10000, they try to get the car for 5k and still rip you off. Just be careful when bidding online,  i have a friend's dealership license which allows me to bid at any auction in the US. I advice you ask around for 1 or I can help you bid and ship the car to Nigeria,  Which you can do your self online but we have a bad reputation as Nigerians which makes us hard to trust but all in all, their ignorance play the most part,

i can get you a clean 2009 civic full option for $10k plus 2k shipping, you clear,
2010 is same price as well,

to be honest, buying a pre 2006 car is not always profitable to sell in Nigeria unless you are buy the luxury ones like fx35 etc, if not, by the tiume you buy, ship, clear and try to compete with the ones already in Nigeria, you'll lose,
Dude why don't you open your own tread. Must you advertise your self here? Keetle calling pot black.
