Events / Re: Will One Million Naira Be Enough For Both Traditional And White Weddings? by Enduranceportal: 11:52am On Aug 24, 2018
My dear, I wish you read my message and act on it with interest. I married from the South East and I planned it according to my capacity.

First Thing First, get the list and negotiate it with your Wife's family. Lets assume the total list is 200k to 300k at most after negotiation. I have to warn you, do not disclose to anybody, including your wife that you have One million for the preparation.

Combine your white wedding and traditional same day. Limit the numbers of canopies and invitees. Plan for clothing, food and others around 300k to 400K.

Timing: prepare with the families involve for the time frame. Traditional marriage: 1:30mins maximum. White wedding: use the court, maximum 40 mins.

My dear friend, there is more to come after wedding. Save money and hope for the best.

May God be with you.

Car Talk / Re: Third Party Insurance. What Does It Cover? by Enduranceportal: 9:16am On Feb 15, 2017
Based on your report, Third party Insurance covers liability on the third party vehicle (Ford Focus) to the tune of 1 Million Naira which is the limit. Any other amount incurred above One million would be covered by the insured.

Politics / Re: Boko Haram Responsible For Scarcity Of Tomato In Nigeria- Lai Mohammed by Enduranceportal: 9:17pm On Jun 01, 2016
I think we need to educate our ministers, especially this ill-talk from a minister of information. Its quite a shame.

Firstly, its the call responsibility of a govt to provide security to its citizen, contents (if it is tomatoes or agricultural products) or resources within it territorial limits. The statement of boko has destroyed the crops is the incapacity of the govt to provide adequate security.

Secondly, the minister of agriculture (whatever name they call it) should answer some basic question Cus this concerns its sector. The boys he claims that has left their farm and they drive okada also contributed. A question for the honorable miniater Lai- Who has control over agricultural product, govt or the boys?

Its obvious the govt has no plans to revive the agricultural sector and reduce our over reliance on the oil sector that has failed us in recent times.

In conclusion, the govt should take full charge of the agricultural sector and make the nation a main exporter of this product. Enough of the havoc the past govt has caused. Honorable Lai, pls direct the public with all honesty
Investment / Re: How I Was Cheated By Mutual Benefits Life Assurance Ltd by Enduranceportal: 10:52pm On May 25, 2016
ehinja:
My story started in 2011 when I decided to partake in an Individual Savings and Protection Plan (ISPP) by Mutual Benefits Life Assurance Ltd.
[img][/img]I decided to contribute N20, 000 (twenty thousand naira only monthly) and did so for most of 2011 till December of same year bringing the total amount contributed by me to N140, 000 (One hundred and Forty Thousand naira only).
Due to personal reasons I could not continue with my monthly contributions and wanted to withdraw my money saved but was told by the agent I will be duly penalized for not continuing for at least 36 months. As a result I decided to wait till the full tenure of the policy which will be 2016.
Fast forward 5 years later 2016 in April (15th) I was at the mutual benefit office to sign for my money withdrawal and was told to expect a discharge voucher which came via email on the 25th of April 2016.
To my outmost dismay, of the N140, 000 I contributed according to the voucher sent to me I was going to be given back N85, 832.88 after 6 years of waiting to get my own money back!
I immediately called one of their numbers hoping it was an error but was told that is the money due me as the savings plan has an element of insurance to it and that also I did not save consistently for the 6 years the plan was in place hence there are charges accrued which have been duly deducted from my suppose savings!!!.
I have attached copies of what I saved and the discharge voucher I was sent for people to see as I do not think it is fair. I have learnt my lesson the hard way and will like to use this medium to advice others to stay away from Mutual Benefits Individual Savings and Protection Plan (ISPP) as it is not drawn up to provide any benefits to participants.

U did not fall victim my dear friend.

Questions to ask yourself
1. He entered into a contract with mutual, did u read the policy documents guiding the agreement?

The policy document would state the terms and conditions of the contract.

B4 u accept a counter offer or pay a premium read your policy documents carefully.

I will give u clear understanding on life assurance on my next comment so u can understand the right policy to chose next time. The marketer misled u.
