Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Suggest A Good Business That #300k Can Start. by Energyking(m): 11:00pm On Oct 17, 2021
You need a profitable side hustle?

Seeing as you've got the money, I'd say you should just get into the affiliate marketing business model. Will cost less than 70k to get trained in it and you'll make back that training fee under a month. Guaranteed.

All you need to do is to promote your choice of digital products by linking buyers and sellers. No need for physical products, importation, delivery, customer service queries and the likes. Just play the middleman and collect your commission.

The training teaches you how to do that. So you can just be pressing phone or working from your laptop for an hour or two daily and printing money even when you sleep, cos there's ways to set it up and let it run even in your absence offline.

By the time you've raised a lot of money, you can go full-time into investing it in real estate or crypto to make you even more money

That's what I do. It's for serious minded people though, who know what they want and are willing to go for it
Career / Re: What Profitable Skill Can I Learn Now Before The End Of The Year by Energyking(m): 11:34pm On Sep 04, 2021
Since you're a married woman, you need a skill that would allow you to work at your own pace. Something that could even replace your current job in due time

I'd recommend affiliate marketing. It is a business model that has been turning many into millionaires. Easy to start and scale fast while doing it entirely online. And you can diversify from there into any other business of your choice using your knowledge as an affiliate

You having a good laptop is already a plus, but you can do it even with your smartphone alone. You can look up the model on Google or send me a DM for more detailed info via my siggy
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: I Feel Like Quitting My Job by Energyking(m): 11:51pm On Jul 25, 2021
Well, you can quit if you seriously don't like the job and if you've saved up a little. Otherwise, stay on for sometime to do so before you leave. Maybe your issues can even be resolved amicably.

But another piece of advice I have for you is that you should think of having another source of income asides that job. Your fear of quitting and losing money partially stems from depending on that one source, which won't happen if you have something to fall back on.

I'd suggest you go into a business like affiliate marketing which can serve as a side hustle to generate money for you as well. Save up and pay for the knowledge of how to do it then sign up on a platform and do it easily. Since you already work online, it won't be too difficult for you to master. With time, you can even ditch your job and employ yourself in any capacity you wish as you go higher. Fingers crossed.
Career / Re: Leaving A Toxic Boss/work For Unknown Skill. by Energyking(m): 6:49pm On Jul 19, 2021
Best case scenario, learn Copywriting

With that skill, you can generate money for yourself anywhere. It is a core service that almost every other jobs rely on in one way or the other, if you know your onions well

If you start it now, by the time December will reach you should have made your first million writing for foreign brands and earning in dollars. Just practicing at least an hour everyday will get you to the top in no time

But it's all dependent on how interested you are and how committed you want to be. And the good part is that you don't need to have a B.Sc certificate and such to be good at it

My two cents

Paid course
Here's the link https://www.udemy.com/course/the-complete-copywriting-course/

Okay, I've seen it. I guess the lack of direct mentorship or being in a community of other copywriters is the issue. Everything about the craft is practice and testing, and it is easier to do so when you have others around you to critique your copy and give you pointers for improvement as you go along.

I had to learn this the hard way after paying for many copywriting courses without gaining anything out of it for months. Feedback by a professional is essential as you learn and practice, and thankfully I've corrected that.

I've watched videos on the stuff and I couldn't pick anything.

YouTube videos? They won't help you much except tell you what it is, not how it is actually done. That's because every copywriter has a different point of view and manner of approach to writing their copy.

All you'll get in YouTube are the basic, beginner level stuff. You're better off paying for courses by great copywriters that can take you in-depth into the skill. There are many of those depending on what you're looking for

xalex77c:
I've bought courses, read articles, watched videos on copywriting, it still seem like rocket science. When I see people do it, like the tutors from the udemy course I bought, it looks easy but the moment I try to practice on a blank sheet, BOOM, I go blank. I think copywriters have some sort of ingenious creativity that help them come up with meaningful and endearing words out of thin air to spark readers interest

You have to be creative, yes. But it's not really rocket science. The devil is in the details, as they say. It is practice, practice and practice. And, you have to cultivate the habit of reading books and studying copy samples that pulled in massive sales before. Also you probably do not have a direct mentor to guide you through. If you go at it alone, you won't get anywhere fast.

By the way, what Copywriting courses did you get? Is it free or paid?

Career / Re: I'm Scared About My Future, Career Wise by Energyking(m): 11:52pm On Jun 08, 2021
I can understand where you're coming from, brother

The thing is, the internet is now a fast lane to wealth if you know how to leverage it very well. And one of the things you can do with it is to sell. Either you sell information or products that you created, or you sell that of another person

I'd advise that if you have at least 50k, you sign up for affiliate marketing. You only need your phone and internet connection, plus the will to succeed. All you need to be doing is to connect a buyer to a seller as the middleman and you'll collect your sweet commission with each sale. You don't need to create any product because someone else already did it

Well... if you find this interesting, you can contact me for more information via my siggy
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: LA Buena Vida Is A SCAM! by Energyking(m): 2:03pm On May 10, 2021
You can consider it a scam if you want. One thing I know is that the pyramid scheme that network marketing is built on is something most of us Nigerians don't like. Who get time to dey find referral everyday?

Anyways, you can engage in affiliate marketing instead. You don't need to own any products or deal with physical delivery. You just connect a seller to a buyer and collect your commission for a job well done. And as plenty people dey online these days, this is a crazy moneymaker if you can do it right since everything is done on the internet.

If you want to hit that six or seven figures very fast, this is a business you no suppose dey sleep on. But what do I know? grin tongue

You go fit blow anywhere regardless of your environment. But Lagos? Hmm... The cash at hand won't be enough, talk more of surviving for long there without knowing anybody

Just chill small, establish an online side-hustle and level up your income first. Then when you make better money from there, reevaluate whether you want to go to Lagos or anywhere else

Finally, If you can't find a job, then create one. Develop skills that would help you to be your own boss, employer... especially in a faded country like Nigeria.

So much this. If entrepreneurship is possible, go into that and cool it with the job search

Crime / Re: Yahoo-Yahoo Thrives In Nigeria, Despite Government Clampdown by Energyking(m): 3:50pm On May 03, 2021
This might be the government's fault, sure. But it's still their choice to engage in it

When there are so many legit online businesses you can invest into and succeed like programming, coding, web design, graphics, blogging, info products marketing, coaching and consultation... and my favorites: copywriting and affiliate marketing, etc.

But they chose a get-rich-quick scheme and rip off people of their hard earned money. Why would their enjoyment last? Calm down and learn a skill that would sustain you for generations to come, put in the work and make positive impact on people through it. That's the way to create good and lasting wealth for yourself
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: I Didn't Cheat On A Job Test Does That Make Me A Fool ? by Energyking(m): 1:18am On May 03, 2021
It's a good thing that you didn't participate in it, in my opinion. It may not look like much now, but you'd be glad you took your current path sometime in the future

Anyways, no matter the outcome of the interview, I'd still suggest you find an alternative means of supporting yourself. Falling back and depending on one job alone is very dangerous in this economy. I learnt this early enough, and till now I haven't met any boss for an interview thankfully enough

Wish you success, man
Politics / Re: Enugu Workers Hail Ugwuanyi's Commitment To Welfare, Payment Of 30,000 Wage by Energyking(m): 8:09pm On May 02, 2021
Impressive, I guess

But in this day and age, 30k a month is too small for everything we face in this country. Why settle for less when you could have more?

Once you have a side hustle that rakes in the cash, you won't even care about increment in minimum wage or some such anymore

Candid advice for you.

Learn how to sell, whether you're selling a product or service you can perform. Provided you can solve people's problems satisfactorily, that is.

And if you have neither, you can sell that of others in exchange for a commission. You help someone sell their high value products to very interested buyers, and you get a cut for each sale you make. Easy peasy

Affiliate marketing would help you with this, and you'll be swimming in money in no time because there are a lot people in the online space now who would want their problems solved. Money is everywhere, bro. You just have to know how to get it legally in the fastest time possible

If you're really serious and determined to make legit crazy money online via affiliate marketing, check my siggy

El oh El

When graduates are still roaming the streets, looking for jobs. I admire your optimism, bro.

Word of advice though, simply sign up for online business you can do. That's where the money is and that's where the future is going. You can make 3 times more than that 30k in a month

They're plenty of high income skills online that'll put food on your table consistently and not stress you too much either. I do one of them: affiliate marketing, and I only need my phone and data to earn my six figures weekly.

If you want to work without stress online, this is one I'd advise you to do rather than looking for jobs on the street.

You said you've done some time as a sales boy, right?
And your graphic design training no doubt will take you online a lot...

I'd simply recommend you start up online affiliate marketing. You simply recommend hot selling products to buyers who need them and collect your commission with each sale. Sweet business model, no need for owning any product or dealing with customer service and all that.

Your sales background is already a bonus for you, and you'll make back your initial capital within a month (or less) if you're serious. If you want to know more, send me a DM via my signature

I've seen someone mention Focus Mode in settings, but I want to be able to freeze just one or two apps, not all of them.
Device is Redmi 9 global ROM
