The police in Enugu State have arrested a 56 years old woman, Edith Ewulu, for allegedly buying a five year old child stolen from her parents.

It was learnt that the woman, who resides in Enugu State, bought the baby from one Chioma who claimed to be operating a social home in Abia State.

A statement by the spokesperson of the Enugu police, Ebere Amaraizu, said the woman was arrested at a new generation church where she took the child for Thanksgiving and Dedication as her daughter.

“A 56 year old woman identified as one Edith Ewulu from Enugu Agidi in Anambra state but said to be residing in Emene Enugu state was arrested by the operatives of the Emene Division of the Nigeria Police Force, Enugu state command for allegedly being in possession of a five year old baby stolen from the mother on 5th of February at Emene Enugu,” Mr Amaraizu said.

“She was arrested at one of the New generation churches located at Emene Enugu where she took the child for Thanksgiving and dedication as her daughter after changing the name of the stolen child from little Miss Felicia as named by her parents”.

The spokesman said the suspect on interrogation confessed to the crime.

“The suspect confessed that she bought the said child from one Chioma, who claimed to be running a social home in Aba, Abia state, at the sum of N470,000”

According to the spokesman, the suspect further said she bought the baby on February 7 from the seller at a renowned hospital in Umuahia which made her believe that the business was genuine.

On her part, the biological mother of the child, Philomena Godwin, said that her baby was stolen on February 6 at Emene, Enugu.

The statement by the police spokesman quoted Mrs Godwin as stating that she was having a headache on the said day and decided to go inside her room to have a nap while her baby was outside playing.

“But when she woke up, she could no longer see her baby and various attempt made to get her proved abortive hence she reported to the police.”

She also appreciated the prompt action of the police that led to the recovery of her baby and the arrest of the alleged buyer.

Mr Amaraizu said the recovered baby has been reunited with her parents while investigations are on to arrest members of the syndicate

Senate President Bukola Saraki says he is not desperate to stay in office. However, a condition has to be met: his removal must be by two-thirds majority of the upper chamber.

Saraki said this on Wednesday while addressing a ‘World press Conference’ on Tuesday’s siege to the National Assembly by the Department of State Services (DSS).

The Senate President defected from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in July, sparking calls for his resignation/impeachment by the ruling party.
He said: “Let me reiterate that neither myself, Deputy Senate President nor Speaker belongs to the class of politicians that are desperate to stay in power by all means and at all costs. The day, two-thirds of our members feel they do not have confidence in our leadership, we will gracefully bow out. I repeat, again and again, this is not about us, but about respecting the constitution and the rule of law…”

Analysts posit that a quorum of 73 out of 109 senators is required to effect the impeachment of any principal officer of the red chamber, excluding the leadership of party caucuses.

The lawmaker also called on the Federal Government to hold accountable agencies and heads of government establishments who go out of line or default on their duties.
e also called on President Muhammadu Buhari to sign the amended electoral act sent to him by the National Assembly.

He denied insinuations that he directed sacked DSS boss, Lawal Daura to invade the Senate. He described the allegation as an insult to the sensibilities of Nigerians.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday faulted those who accused him of being silent on killings being carried out by suspected herdsmen in parts of the country.

He said there was injustice in such aspersions.

According to a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the President spoke during an interactive session with stakeholders in Jos, Plateau State, over the recent attacks that left scores of people dead.

Buhari said people were blaming him for not talking to the herdsmen probably because he looked like them.

He appealed to Nigerians to avoid inflammatory utterances that could endanger peace or promote conflicts.

The President said, “Whatever is being given to the media, we have to be very responsible about it.

‘‘Take for instance the situation in Benue. The Benue subsistence farmer knows that the Nigerian cattle herder that he knows doesn’t carry nothing more than a stick, occasionally sometimes something to cut grass to feed his cattle.

‘‘But the present herder, I am told, carries AK47 and people are even blaming me for not talking to them because maybe (they say) I look like one of them.

‘‘There is some injustice in these aspersions.”

Buhari directed security chiefs in the country to remain vigilant and ensure the protection of lives and property.

He also urged traditional and community leaders to complement government efforts by persuading their constituencies to tolerate one another for peace and unity in the country.

The President added, “I will continue to pressurise members of the law enforcement agencies directly under me by the constitution as the Commander-in Chief.

“About eight days ago, we had five hours security meeting of the service chiefs and the Inspector-General of Police.

‘‘What happened here in Jos is very bad. The question of leadership, from your household to whatever you are, is justice. The bottom line is justice.

‘‘That is why wherever I go, I will always appeal to the leadership of the communities and the law enforcement agencies, to always have control over their constituencies.”

The 454-page report was created in response to questions Mark Zuckerberg was asked during his appearance before Congress in April.

The new report attempts address their concerns, but it sheds little new light on the Cambridge Analytica scandal.

Device information


Facebook tracks what device you using to access its social media.

To do this, it will log the hardware manufacturer of your smartphone, connected television, tablet, computer, or other internet-connected device.

Facebook also tracks the operating system, software versions and web browser.

If you're using a smartphone, it will also keep a record of the mobile carrier, while internet service providers (ISPs) will be stored for users using a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection to access Facebook.


Mouse movements


Facebook watches the movements of your computer mouse on-screen when you are interacting with the social network.

In April, the Tanzanian Government said it would certify all bloggers in the country and charge them an annual fee of $900 before they can blog, and this covers both online radio and television streaming platforms like YouTube.

However, on the 5th of May, six human right activists and bloggers won a temporary court injunction against the order.

That injunction was short-lived— new reports have it that the Tanzanian Government has won the case against the bloggers and activists—the spokesman for the Government was quoted as saying:

“Following this ruling, owners of social media platforms that are used to disseminate news such as blogs, online TV and radio are required to continue with the registration process and observe ethics outlined in the relevant regulation.

In other words, bloggers will still have to pay a registration and license fee of $900 (annually) before they can operate:



They must also disclose details of shareholders, share capital, citizenship of owners, staff qualification and training programs, as well as a tax clearance certificate, to obtain an operating license from the regulator. Any blogger who defies the new law could be fined at least $2,200 or face imprisonment.

At the moment, Tanzanian bloggers who can’t meet the requirements have to shut down their websites or channels.

The passing of the law is another demonstration of President Magufuli’s leadership style that has earned him the title of ‘the Bulldozer.’

As a matter of fact, citizens who criticized him on social media platforms were arraigned in court for insulting the president.

This has been happening few days back and according to Google, "a language detection bug" led to that weird feature that shows Android users their recent personal texts when typing "the1975..com".
This got alot of people confused online and it did make a trend. Normally if you should type in 1975.com on the google app, it would open up a site but adding the extra dot made it show you your recent text messages although iOS users don’t seem to have the same experience but we glad they got it fixed.

A teenage boy with multiple personalities “murdered” his mum and younger brother after he was given a vacuum cleaner for Christmas, a court has heard.

Jacob Remalay allegedly gunned down his relatives under a personality called “Wrath” after his parents bought his sibling a trip to Disney World.

Westmoreland County Court in Pittsburgh was told that Remalay, who was 14 at the time, was allegedly shunned by his parents in favour of his younger brother Caleb, eight.

Doctors gave details of Remalay’s other personalities – including a witch, an old man and little girl - at a hearing to decide whether his trial should be moved from an adult to a juvenile court, KDKA reports.

Public defender Wayne McGrew told the court: “I don’t know how long Wrath has been involved but it’s getting stronger and stronger within his personality.

“Once he came out of the altered state, he was very remorseful and very depressed because he knew, the trooper testified in the hospital, Wrath came out and told everybody what actually happened.”
Remaley’s father David also gave testimony to the court, saying that he had “poor judgement” as a parent.

His son, now 16, is accused of shooting his mother Dana, 46, and Caleb dead with a gun at their home in New Stanton, Pennsylvania, in November 2016, while his dad was at work.

David is backing calls for Jacob to be tried in a juvenile court.

From the Announcement Facebook gave days back during the annual F8 developer conference, it seems there will be a group video calling option coming the app's way in few months as WhatsApp director Mubarik Imam announced. Although she didnt give in the full details but she stated that "we can see that calls will allow four people to simultaneously participate". She also revealed that the App now has over 450 million daily users, and over 2 billion minutes of video and audio calls are made through WhatsApp each day. Also whatsapp will also be getting stickers like those in Wechat, Line, Facebook messenger and other apps.
What do you think? You think there's any need for all this?
If i am asked lol I'll say the group video calling aspect is cool but for the stickers, i am not so sure. Well, lets keep our heads up for updates and as soon as i get any info, I'll keep y'all posted.

Wow!!!! One of the most anticipated songs so far just dropped open the box with no other person rather than Chrix Wayne himself and he titled this one "Pleasure" and it was produced by Itz Godwin​ the audio and the video dropped just right about the same time, isnt that awesome?? Hell yeah it is and the video production was made by Light Up Productions and it was directed by Gabriels MacManuel.
