Travel / Re: Does Mobile Phone Booking Work In Nigeria? by enkae(f): 10:17am On Aug 26, 2009
He's obviously a newbie!

Where are you going to? Local or international?

Anyways,I use TicketBay and it works. Used it to book for bus travels (Ekenedilichukwu and Efex, I think) and now I heard it also works for international flights too. I tried using it to book my sister and her baby on Virgin Atlantic yesterday.

A simple text like this: TRAVEL VIRGIN.A LAGOS LONDON 17-09-09 22-10-09 HERNAMES sent to 32811 did the trick and I got the fare for N165,188.00 for mother and infant. I was able to verify the reference they sent me online(www.checkmytrip.com).
Travel / Re: How Do I Enjoy A Vacation In Dubai? by enkae(f): 10:05am On Aug 26, 2009
Hello Teminio, why not use a professional agency to package the entire trip and get u the best rates and hotel vouchers even before you leave. Imagine totting your bags along and running from hotel to hotel for best rates, hidden charges etc, I guarantee you, it can be crazy and it's something I would never do again in my life. Professionals do this everyday, so they know the tricks, besides because they work with volumes, they get lots of discounts from these airlines and hotels which they can easily pass on to you, that's how they get paid.

You can get best rates on Emirates using TicketBay, just send a text like this:TRAVEL EMIRATES LAGOS DUBAI DEPARTUREDATE RETURNDATE YOURNAME to 32811 and you will get great rates. You can also call for hotel vouchers: 2star,3star,4 or 5star hotel, depending on your choice or budget.

If you try to wing it urself, you will not end up having a holiday, you will come back tired and angry with yourself!

Romance / Re: What Do I Give Her For Vals Day? by enkae(f): 2:57pm On Feb 13, 2008
Hi folks,
i have been away a long time but this topic just made my day and i had to say something,
Ladies , why dont we do something for the brothers this time around, some of them seem to have a hard time deciding how to treat us so lets show them how it should be done!

@ poster,
Here is what i would love  to give my sweetheart for valentine

1. wake him up in the morning with a sweet soft kiss, i.e after making sure his breakfast is ready, then feed it to him, of course with soft music playing in the background, all curtains closed and with soft light so that nothing spoils his breakfast. then make sure he has a nice relaxing bath , massage afterwards and send him back to sleep (for a short while).
Of course he wont be going to work!

2.  take him out, maybe to the beach or somewhere pleasant that he has always desired to go , suprise him with a personalised gift , ok, maybe three or four

3. give him a choice of my cooking his favourite meal(3 course) or a dinner at any restaurant  (my treat), strictly for two, no kids, no friends
(note: i am a "calabar girl" ) grin

4. take him home and, do whatever else comes naturally.

The whole point is, i just want him experience the heaven he has brought  into my life and i will do that as if tomorrow wont come,
Romance / Re: Nigerian Babes And Flowers by enkae(f): 11:30am On Nov 13, 2007
@ poster
i hope you are asking cos you want to give some 'lucky lady' flowers, personally, i havent discovered what type of soup roses are used for or lets say chrysanthemums, i mean, for all the cost of them fresh flowers , but i do know a couple of ladies including my elder sister, who would just go gaga over one stem of reds,
so if you intend to give them to 'miss' or 'mrs' lucky, plese find out if she likes them first

for me , just gimmie d money and let me make you a pot of soup that you wont forget in a hurry

@poster

girlie, too much to read, and yes , could you also provde the stats for your own villa? you make it sound like its only the calabar folks that have hiv/aids strolling around thier region, or are you trying to warn the brethren? grin
Family / Re: Your Husband in The Labor Room During Childbirth? by enkae(f): 11:08pm On Aug 10, 2007
winknice thread, it has really made a lot of you guys show your true colours, chicken ! grin grin grin, but anyways, personally i would love to have my husband in the labour room with me, though the guy in question has vehemently protested against it, is he chicken too? maybe in this regard , he's really very brave but says he wont be able to stand the sight of me in pain and bleeding.infact anybody in pain! so i guess i will just let him be.i know he loves me and will be praying me through it all, but guys make una try brace up to it jare, wetin dey there! what a woman can do, fill in the missing gaps grin grin
Family / Re: How To Divorce My Nigerian Husband? by enkae(f): 12:08am On Jul 05, 2007
hello leilah, about divorce,i dont know how long you guys have been married but i believe in tryin to make things work with all the resources you have.especailly your marriage! i have been told that white people have little respect for marital values, please dont make me believe it, at least you havent said anything about the problems you had that you tried to solve and didnt work! something else, nigerian men are great people and equal to men from other parts of the world.the same rules apply to all of them.there is no special advice on trying to get rid of them, but plenty on how to make up wink, anyway, take your time ,pray over this and trust God to work things out the best way.
Health / Re: Can Someone Married 2 Astma Patien Be Affected By D Disease by enkae(f): 1:27am On Jul 03, 2007
asthma is definately non communicable, infact ,though it is thought to be hereditary,it can jump generations.and occur further down in the family line. dont worry neither you nor your spouse are in danger if spreading the condition.

Romance / Re: My Workaholic Boyfriend Is Always Working by enkae(f): 4:48pm On Jun 30, 2007
well, i happen to be dating a guy who is very devoted to his job.i understand that he has to work hard and i make some allowances but he also understands the need for us to spend time together and takes a break  REGULARLY!!!  habits are hard to break so i wont let him create on that will ruin our relationship or our future.  girl ,take some time also to involve yourself in what he does, if you can do that then some of that work time can be shared by you, not taken away but shared, trust me, he will appreciate it
