Career / Which Has A Better Prospect In Nigeria Now; M.SC In Finance Or Masters In Risk? by Enrichlee(m): 11:07pm On Apr 01, 2023
I’m a Chartered Accountant that has 6 years experience in banking operations as well as Internal Audit.
I’m presently considering to go for my Masters Degree but I’m not sure which field to go into. Which one has a better career prospect in Nigeria now between MBA, M.SC in Finance or a Masters in Risk Management?
I look forward to your engagement, view and advice.

Oga you need to calm down. Nobody is preventing anybody from having access to their money
Yes there is shortage of physical cash, people should use other channels, if you take your atm to a shop and pay via atm or you transfer money, it will still go. So it is wrong to say people are being denied access to their money
CBN has focused so much on the Dollar issue this year that they have not expanded on their cashless policy. That is the real issue.

I posted this on an earlier thread,
What CBN needs to do is deepen the implementation of Mobile Money. In Kenya, once I have your phone number, I can transfer money to you. This also saves a lot of money in printing cash. Another option is to take advantage of cash based businesses and use them as mobile money agents. For example, I should be able to walk into a Petrol station or supermarket, deposit money in their account through their POS and they give me the cash equivalent. It will help this businesses reduce their cash calls and bank trips.
For your mind now, u've raised a valid opinion. How many businesses are having the POS option here in Nigeria presently. Sometimes you people just spew rubbish just to sound sophisticated and learned.

Know about one "big man" that owns one of these transport bus companies in the east. He has a big home in Lekki and his daughter is a celeb. This man always owes his domestic workers salaries. One of them died recently from hunger. You need to see how this man lavishes money with exotic cars and loud parties.
Why they deliberately choose to be wicked baffles me. When these guys now get angry and take their pound of flesh on these people, everybody will start making noise and call them evil people, not knowing the kind of bullshit and provocation that these "big men" have put them through.
and when u asked ur boss for a raise and he/she refused to give u...d next thing is for u to kill him or her Did she tie him there to work for her If he's so much worth a raise, can't he resign and go work elsewhere Nothing justifies this type of gruesome killing or murder bro. Bosses oppress their workers everyday but that's a topic for another day. This ur post is just not it @ all

Dating And Meet-up Zone / Woman With Two Husbands Says She Loves Both Of Them by Enrichlee(m): 12:34pm On Dec 05, 2016
Zimbabwean women, Jack Chako, who has two husbands with whom she has sex with in the same room and lives with under same roof has declared her love for both men.
She added that the men have different strengths, which complement each other.
Jack, whose story has been trending on the internet is living a reality and not some movie script according to the Zimbabwe Daily, which carried the story.
According to the newspaper, polyandry is gaining acceptance in Zimbabwe and this might be as a result of the unconfirmed fact that there are more women in the country than men. Fifty-two percent of the population according to the report are women compared to 48 percent of men.
Below is an excerpt from the report:

“For more than a decade, Jack Chako (38) of Bolon Farm in Raffingora has been living happily with her two husbands, Michael Hwita and Liford Chimoto, with whom she shares one bed.

Chako is the head of the family and always eats from the same plate with her two husbands, and during meals, she picks up meat first as the head, followed by the senior husband Chimoto then the junior husband Hwita, in that chronological order.

“We are a happy family, I live with my two husbands and we love one another. My two husbands are best friends and they are always together,” boasted Chako.

She says the two men have different roles and between the two is a senior husband and his junior. And according to her, Chimoto is the elder husband hence the senior while Hwita is the junior.

Chako brazenly claims that she “married” the second husband Hwita because Chimoto “is elderly and increasingly becoming weak in bed”.

“I love both men. They have different strengths. Chimoto fetches a lot of firewood and cleans up the house well but he is weak in bed and weak when it comes to fending for the family. The reason why I married a second husband is that Chimoto was starving me sexually.

“Hwita is also technically minded. He repairs a lot of broken goods, including cell phones and cobbles shoes too, making him bring some cash home. His biggest strength is he is excellent and strong in bed.”

“To be honest, in terms of conjugal rights I favour Hwita. He gets me there. I only do it with Chimoto as a token. At times, I feel pity for Chimoto and give him token conjugal rights and he appreciates that. The rule is no one gets out of the room, because he is not on duty. Whoever is not on duty, just watches us at it,” narrated Chako.

She maintains that she was in charge and his two husbands are now used to sleeping side by side in one bed.

“They don’t mind and they both appreciate each other for the different roles each play to the family,” she said

Chako — a mother of five, three children from a previous marriage and two from this polyandrous affair — says all the two children she has in this set up are from Hwita.

She claims she used some concoction to pacify his two men.

“It is not a secret that I used a concoction to cow them down. I also sell this concoction to other women to cow down their errant husbands and make them compliant.

“None of my two husbands wishes to leave me. Initially I only had Chimoto but I ran away from him and went to my parents’ home because he was not satisfying me sexually and I was tired of stealing sex from neighbouring boys and men. But he followed and pleaded until my parents ordered me to take him back.

I then gave him a condition that I should get another man to help him in bed and he agreed. This is how I got the second one.

Since then, we live happily and enjoy our life, although we know that the generality of people around us do not like it,” says Chako.

Both Hwita and Chimoto said they don’t have problems taking Chako says their joint wife.

“I see no problem. She loves both of us and we understand our situation. I respect Chimoto as the elder husband because I found him here. I know my failings and I appreciate the decision which was taken, we have various duties and life goes on,” Chimoto said.

But Chako is not the only woman in polyandry. In sprawling Epworth, on the outskirts of Harare, is one such super woman, Ellen Svova, who cohabits with two husbands, Kefas Takawira, 40 and Tambudziko Svova, 60.

The polyandry family has set tongues wagging in the neighbourhood but unlike in Chako’s situation, Elen claims she did not use concoction to cow her two husbands. Theirs is a bizarre love situation.

“I don’t use concoction. My first husband Svova is ageing so he was no longer satisfying me in bed so he gave me the green light to have a second husband,” she claims.”

Crime / Re: "I'm The Defender Of The Defenseless": Dolapo Badmus, Fans React by Enrichlee(m): 12:09pm On Sep 17, 2016
NOETHNICITY:
Nigerians and their obsession with NPF and its corruption. Nigerians re alws about the Police like the NPF is not a Nigerian Institution. The NPF is a reflection of a broader picture of the Nigerian scenario. The Force isn't a composition of some foreigners. Its Nigerians that er being recruited into the force.
Not attempting to defend the Police but I need to point out our disgusting penchant for singling out the Police as the only most corrupt Nigeria institution. This act of ours reek of hypocrisy. If nothing at all the ongoing war on corruption has so far revealed the monumental high level organised corruption entrenched in the army,Navy, Airforce, custom, civil sevice and others . We re talkin about top level inhumane corruption whose perpetration directly results in loss of lives. As uncomfortable as this is its real.
Our level of hypocrisy is so bad that when govt attempts to go after some of these perpetrators lots of Nigerians rise to their defence scrAeaming witch-hunt.
Militants in the NigerDelta ve repeatedly averred that men of the NA and Navy re heavily involved in acts of economic sabotage by engaging in oil bunkering in oil communities in the ND. While we regularly delude ourselves due to hypocrisy that this form of corruption is not too bad we turnaround to hang the Police for collecting #20 on the road, an act which is as devilish as it is condemnable, not withstanding that military personnel on our roads equally sometimes engage in this very act as I ve witnessed 1st hand.
My grouse here is that we deliberately sanctify some institutions, regardless of the monumental level of corruption while we re all too happy to hang the other.
Singling out Police isn't hypocrisy but observation. They are closer to the masses and our first stop in getting justice. I for one had only few encounters with the NA (not even personal) and I'm not even sure if I've ever met any navy or airforce personnel before not to talk of customs. But police on the other hand, many people deal and encounter them on a daily basis and so we will keep calling out their corruption and incompetence daily more than those military and para military forces you talked about
