Education / Re: Only 2 Of 7 months have been paid: ASUU Fumes As Tinubu Clears Buhari's Debts by eoadeniji(m): 12:04am On Feb 20
Lets be factual, Nigeria cannot make progress when striking workers expect to be paid while on strike. Enough of sentiment. ASUU have the right to strike, but how do you expect to be paid while on strike? What happens to the revenue loss during the period, the time wasted?

In saner climes when you strike it is "no work, no pay".

We are not ready.

Once a wild big cat like lions, leopards, tiger and the rest have a taste of human flesh..... They must be put down or else they will keep coming back for more and start preying on humans....

In the olden days, if a village loses one of theirs to a big cat, they will organise a search party and won't rest till the big cat is dead, if not, trouble looms!

The Lion cannot feed on any thing else except tge thing it has access to. If it is kept in a suitable cage. It cannot go out or feed on any other thing than what is given to it.

My own is, why killed the Lion for doing Lion things? Was killing it out of sentiments or emotions? Anyone who must domesticate a wild Animal must learn to keep the safety measures. A lion is never a pet, a wild animal is a wild animal no matter how long you feed it. Did killing the Lion serves as a deterrent to other Lion? 😀. Nigerians and emotions. Things that could only happen in Nigeria, we even blame or punish animals for our own Negligence. The animal could not have been in a tight cage and kill him. The animal did not jump out of the bush to kill him. So? RIP to the dead.

When are we Africans going to get pass this old thing of celebrating birthdays?

How can we develop past this?

We are in the modern age of civilization.

Our western countries are busy celebrating new innovations, we are still celebrating birthdays.

I wonder who gave us the title as THE CRADLE OF CIVILIZATION.

It's marital troubles that pushes them there.

Nonsense!

RadicallyBlunt:

You do not understand me. Of course I know and I'm not naive that one has to love a man before she submits to him. You know within you that you love the man but he doesnt feel the love until you show it in submission..that's my point.

If many women understand the depth of being a wife only let alone knowing what it really means to submit, men's complain of the trouble women give them would reduce.

God knows what he's made and he has d best manual to whatever he created. A woman may love a man but the man doesn't truly feel it until its unwrapped thru submission. Its equivalent to how a woman doesn't feel loved until a man shows it in creating time and attention for her.

Unfortunately what men keep hearing after declaring his love openly for her is .."did you not see me as a troublesome person before you proposed to me?"... Its the worst hypertensive statement from the mouth of a loved woman I've ever heard.

Guy, I love your type

Dont mind that guy. for the past decades or so.. Only 2 persons have made a distinction in Pathology in Uniben..comparing MBBS 2 and MBBS 3 is like comparing sleep and death..
Na so bro...once you pass path and pharm, na to dey thank your God....there is less time to prepare for path and pharm than for anatomy, phsyio and co, also, the stress of clinical postings too, plus, the way the exams are structured in Ibadan...

Pharmacology is volatile because students read to pass. It's almost the simplest and morbid anatomy and maybe chem path is the tough one in pathology. Once u've sailed through the hard nuts of last anatomy reading the other pathologies save pathoma won't be that tough. Microbiology made ridiculously simple, D Indian haematology text, baby harsh mohan, will crush the pathology tests with a lot of past questions. Lippincott maybe enuf for pharmacology, some school Batram katzung. But part 1 is a tough one, I congratulate those that cross year 3 because they have almost 90% chance of becoming noble doctors and dental surgeons.
These things u said are relative to schools and curriculum...but I want to believe that if one does a survey among medical students, which exams are tougher, most votes will likey be won, by path and pharm

Rubbish big time. Pharmacology once u use a drug chart to know the drug class, they pharmacodynamics and kinetics and few side effects that's all, the only tough thing in pathology is anath path because of it useless jargons. Part one MBBS with gross anatomy remains the toughest and one with highest failure rate. That's why step 1 USMLE is the most important.

Sgt Ponzi Hater

Pathology is far more voluminous and techinical than anatomy..pharmacology is volatile, and deals with understanding minute details...maybe these exams are easier in some schools, but in Ibadan, its abiut the toughest

A technical exam is harder than a doctor's exam, where it is mostly la cram la pour.
Hmn....bro...it doesn't sound like you really know what med school exams are...apart from the fact that it is techinacal, voluminous, these exams are clinical exams too, and are mostly subjective...

LOBATAN!
you and post man are the best, the first thing is a man or a woman should love God and fear God, when a man or a woman loves God and fears God it would then be easy to keep His commandments on marriage.
A man should love his wife, unconditionally(wethert He submits to him or not), because he loves and fears God and wants to please keep His commandment and please Him in all things.
A woman also shoukd submit herself unconditionally to her husbamd( whether he loves her or not) . She is not doing it for his sake, she is doing it because first she loves God and fears Him, and has to keep His commandements
