a circular was released on the school site this afternoon being June 30th, 2009 that the earlier scheduled post ume to take place as from 2nd to 4th of July, 2009 has been postponed indefinitely. meanwhile all UME candidate that have difficulty in online registration are advice to visit the school ICT centre Main Campus, Gidan Kwano on Wednesday, 1st and Wednesday 8th July, 2009 between 8.00 a.m. and 4. 00 p.m. Thereafter, no further complaints shall be entertained.

i have personally called the numbers on the letter head of the bulletin attached and it was confirmed to me that, its true and no date have been announced. you can call the numbers on the bulletin and confirm also. Betterstill, logon to http://www.futminna.edu.ng/ and see things your self.

many people have called me asking me where they can get the bank draft of 1,000 naira for the post ume. you can get it from any commerical bank NOT micro finance bank, i mean, GTB, UBA, ZENITH, FIRST BANK, ACCESS, ETB, FINBANK, BANK PHB, INTERCONTINENTAL, WEMA, SKYE, OCEANIC etc.
the DRAFT will be in favour of FUT MINNA, (FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY MINNA) ofcourse you know you will pay a bank charges to the bank, i know it wont be more than 300 naira depending on the bank. Like GTB that i paid mine, its about 265 naira.

for security purpose and identification, you can write your name at the back of your draft.

secondly, you need to reprint your DE/UME form from http://www.futminna.edu.ng/.

thirdly, you have to be prepare for 1k, for result/admission checking scratch card when we get there.

            For UME and FUT Remedial candidates:

iii. After clicking, a page where candidate can enter registration number appears.  Enter your JAMB registration number and click ‘submit’ button.

[b]Ahead of the March 29 court-ordered gubernatorial election in Kogi State, the All Nigerian People’s Party (ANPP) has entered into an alliance with the Action Congress (AC) and Movement for the Restoration of Democracy (MRDD) in a bid to wrestle power from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The alliance, which was formalized at a meeting held at the Le Meridien Hotel in Abuja, Thursday, had in attendance the ANPP gubernatorial candidate, Abuba-kar Audu, AC leader in the state, Prince Olusola Akanmode, Senator Otaru Ohize, Hon. A.K. Salihu, Hon. Abdul Kokori and the MRDD candidate, Col Suleiman Babanawa.
But the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dismissed the coalition by the parties, calling it a futile exercise that would not achieve the desired result.
Thursday’s agreement puts to rest weeks of speculations of an impending alliance between the parties by political watchers in the state.
Based on the alliance, the ANPP candidate, Prince Audu will be the governorship candidate of the aligned parties while the AC candidate, Senator Mohammed Ohiare, will be his running mate.
Briefing press men in Lokoja yesterday, the Kogi State chairman of AC, Chief Mike Adeleye, stated that the alliance was necessitated by the determination to restore hope to the people of the state saying “although nobody gave the alliance any chance to work, it has come to stay and with it, we are sending a signal to PDP that its time is up.”
Adeleye said the alliance was already standing on a tripod and “is ready to sweep PDP away from the state.”
He said, “With Audu in the eastern senatorial district, Akanmode in the west and the leaders of AC in the central senatorial districts, the alliance will battle PDP to a standstill and chase them from Lugard house, the seat of government.
“We know it has been next to impossible in Nigeria for opposition parties to come together to work as a team but we want to send a signal to PDP that it has come to stay.”
The AC chairman further stated that the national secretariat of his party has directed the state chapter to work tirelessly for the success of the alliance to ensure victory in the March 29 election, adding that the alliance was formed on an agreement to rescue Kogi State from epileptic governance.
Meanwhile, a group within the PDP in the state working for the return of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, the Kogi Elite Group, has described the alliance between ANPP and AC as a marriage in futility, which can never be regarded as a reliable partnership.
The chairman of the group, Dr.Tom Ohikere, opined in Lokoja that any alliance between Akanmode and Audu can never be regarded as a reliable partnership based on past alliances between them, which never succeeded.
Dr. Ohikere stated his group would commence a full-blown campaign on March 1, 2008, which will be taken to all the twenty-one local governments in the state to assist PDP and Alhaji Idris. [/b]

Alex Hleb and Emmanuel Adebayor are expected to be fit for Saturday's trip to Birmingham.

The pair picked up injuries in Wednesday's goalless draw with Milan at Emirates Stadium. The Belarus midfielder had a calf problem while the Togolese striker had a stiff neck.

But speaking at Friday's press conference, Wenger said: "They should be alright."

Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Eboue are both out. The only addition to Wednesday's squad is Manuel Almunia. However the manager was remaining tight-lipped over whether the Spaniard would start.

Hello guys,

i personally sent someone to Abuja this morning to check what is going on in the school, i got a call from him now that ASUU strike halt the release of the second batch. join that, the second list is not just going to be wait and expect your name as many thought if probably its going to be release as many things are involved.

the school is empty as many administrative work were paralyze due to the strike action.

it was also rumoured in some quarters that some people who have relative in the admission office have scanned through the list and some found their names there and their using this strike period to finalize their prepation to resumes school. its not yet fact because it is still rumour. it was also rumoured that they may not release the second list. it is also rumour.

all what i can say to you all now is that, someone have being to the school for me today and the list is not yet out.

you need a long leg. in as much as you need a long to scale through, you can't rule out God's favour.

we pray for the list to be out as soon as the stike action pack off,

i wonder why every things have turned out to be levels in Nigeria admission processes. you can't 100% stand on your merit. its well.
