FrontPageLawyer: What I said was.. My uncle is more interested in my personal and career development. So he does things to support me. He promised to take me on a trip on my 25th birthday but it was around that time I had gotten a job so we had to postpone it. This is the second time he's paying for a trip for me to go on holidays. @frontpagelawyer |

justwise:@justwise I meant from my personal savings here in Nigeria and not over there in UK. About my monthly salary... Hmmm, I'm a civil servant . It is well For my ticket, my uncle (guardian) here in Nigeria would cater for that. |

@justwise, @frontpagelawyer and all other gurus. Please I need your help on this bothering me. I have been to the UK before while I was in my final year in the university on a Family Visit visa to spend time with my cousins. Before applying, I stated that I would spend 6 weeks in the UK with my cousins but I spent 4 months over there and I came back to do my National service. My Uncle who is more like a guardian sponsored my trip and paid for my airfare to go and spend time with my other relatives in the UK. Now, I'm no more a student. I'm working and been working since 2014 till now. I want to go on holiday and this time around... It's not my uncle in the uk inviting me but rather our family friend. I would like to go and spend time with my friends and go on the London eye, Buckingham palace, Trafalgar square, Chinatown and also visit the roman baths in Bath and also shop for some few clothes. My monthly salary after tax is 175pounds. I give 10pounds to a little cousin of mine in senior high school to supplement her pocket money from her parents. I've been saving too and have 1600pounds in my personal account. I don't really save in my salary account. I get bonuses at work and some monies from my boyfriend, uncle and my parents. Our family friend who is inviting me for holidays would cater for food and accommodation whilst my uncle (guardian) would take care of my flight. He would give me 800pounds for my air ticket. I plan to use 500pounds from my own savings over there in the UK for living expenses. Please do I stand a chance ? I'm worried because sometimes it's not about your travel experience. Plus it's not my other relative in the UK inviting me this time around but rather a family friend. I'm also worried about the answers to put under income and expenditure. Please help me. |
