Finally, and most importantly, for lawyers, its IQAS and not WES O! WES will evaluate your law degree as Barchelors. The resident legal guru in the house is @Ethelia, click on her profile and go and read up all her posts.

There is a first time for everything. No one told me about the CRS tool which i just used. Chill.
I asked a question any new person without knowledge would ask. I've been on several threads here proffering solutions to every day problems, so don't tell me anything about 'mapping everything out'. I just needed the question answered, and I've gotten the answer already. Although I wasn't referring specifically to you with my post, I can see that it touched your spirit. No one told you about the CRS tool but they were busy directing you to page zero to go and count ceilings abi ![](/faces/huh.png) Anyway I won't respond to you again on this matter. good to see you have atleast gotten a start in the right direction 4 Likes |

Newmum0615: Our newbies, please read oooooo. This journey is not for the faint-hearted and impatient. There is no wuruwuru to the answer here. Information is power. Page zero has almost all you need to get ahead. Too many basic questions these days. The thread will soon reach 200 pages.
Back to my guest mode. Sigh. A lot of people just want someone to map out everything they have to do, step by step and also provide information on how much each step will cost and how long it will take. Thats why Immigration consultants will always be in business. 4 Likes |

Thank you. I pray they don't ask, but if they do you'll find a way around it. It had to go to Cotonou three times before I could get the required documents. Jesu, 3 times!! Thanks though, oddly enough your words have comforted me. If they ask, I will find a way by God's grace ![cheesy](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/cheesy.png) |

Daybour1: Hello guys. My first time here. Just a quick question. I am on the verge of entering the pool together with my fiance. Is it ok if I apply as married before ITA, then proceed to get married when ITA comes around so as to provide the marriage certificate? Misrepresentation loading......... If the date on your marriage certificate is after the date of your ITA it will definitely be flagged. If you are not yet married, do not claim to be so. Wait until you get married before entering the pool. 6 Likes |

smslive2: If you entered before the draw, you should ideally get ITA. Note that ITA might not drop immediately for everybody, so do NOT panic
Lol, I think its over excitement. They expect to receive the ITA 5 seconds after the draw and start panicking when it takes a little time ![cheesy](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/cheesy.png) 1 Like |

Adlib007: Hi @mumzt, I would recommend that you consider the PNP route as well. It's a surefire way to get through, considering your brother's reluctance.
All the best!
Nothing is ever 'surefire' in this journey! Not everyone who applies for PNP is guaranteed a selection certificate so please don't mislead. Some people don't even get the opportunity to submit their pnp applications before the portal closes. 1 Like |

Distinct777: So it doesn't necessarily have to be the original signed copy that is sent to Iqas? Can I scan and send the signed application to the person helping to process my transcript? He's going to help send all the documents to Iqas.
I was already thinking of the courier cost of sending the printout to him.
Yes I believe so. After all, they accepted my signed scanned Form. 1 Like |

tonyik: Am i supposed to send a photocopy of transcript along with my certificate? Requesting for my own copy of transcripts from schools (2) will be too expensive. WES need only a copy from school and my softcopy certificate. Do IQAS accept soft copy documents like faxing through hellofax?
It depends on the document. Of course your Transcript must be sent directly to IQAS from your school. My contact also included the other documents with the transcript in the same package, however she forgot to add my Application Form. I faxed this later to IQAS and it was accepted. 1 Like |

Lol, too many people with too much time on this thread. Or maybe some use it to reduce tension and stress. Una well done.
Piece of advice, focus on positives only. On that same twitter a lady countered the initial post with her own experience getting a professional job with Ernst and Young after just 5 weeks in Canada. Yet that one won't trend. Some of the people trying to discourage others are doing so either out of jealousy or ignorance. They don't know how to migrate or are not qualified to do so even if they wanted to! 18 Likes 1 Share |

Una well done oh! I don't even know where to start from sef. Congratulations to all those who aced their IELTS. For those who didn't, don't give up and if you want to ask for a remark please remember that you cannot use that result to wait in the pool until the remark is completed. Please throw more light on CELPIP, is it allowed in the Canadian epistle? IELTS is not the only English test accepted by IRCC. just do some light reading on the government website and you will have all the information you need. 1 Like |

SkyWalk12: It’s better to be quiet than to give wrong information. #WakaPass sometimes. I think we need to add this to page Zero as well. The damage wrong information can do is actually scary. I know we all want to be helpful but please lets also be cautious not to spew out wrong information with full authority. I'm speaking in general terms and not just because of the most recent episodes. Personally I have learnt to practice wakapass a lot when I want to type a mean response or when I'm just not sure. E.g that issue about the adoption and legal guardianship. I was not 100% sure and I didn't think my opinion would have been helpful as it was not one that would have offered the lady a lot of hope. 5 Likes |
