I used gcmsbuddy and they were very fast (less than 2 weeks) and even cheaper too. They didn't ask for passport, just consent form signed by me and Newdad0615 wink. Just give it more time or request for another with gcmsbuddy.

Hi, abeg did you order the basic or advanced notes?

I'm getting close to 2 months post AOR and still in IP1. Lemme check and see if I'm in LVO grin

They didn't tell us before jumping inside the pool with fabricated information oh! Later when they get refused for misrepresentation they will start crying up and down saying the VO is wicked. As if those that have been waiting to join the pool for months are foolish.

If I work as a civil servant in Lagos State, is that supposed to be "Government" or just "Employment" under personal history?

Use Employment. Stating government for anything triggers massive security screening which will make the application hang for months.

Hi Guys,

Quick question please for those that had any prior VISIT visa refusal. For the statutory questions part, there are these 2 questions that I feel are the same thing basically. They are:
1. Has Bleep been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or VISITOR or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?
2. Has Bleep ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?

I had answered Yes to the second one and explained in the box that popped up. But upon reading the first one again, and the place where it states ""visitor""..... does it mean I should answer Yes as well and then replicate the explanation from the second one there??
x

Those who have been in this situation. please help

The answer is YES for both questions. The reason is obvious for the first, as for the second you have been refused a visa to a country so it is also yes. just duplicate the same explanation in both sections.

If you don't have a separate holder for LOE then you can have a letter of explanation for the visa refusal and attach that letter and the visa refusal to the travel documents place holder. #my2cents

Thread 3 - IELTS passed, ITA received, AOR.
Thread 4 - PPR, COPR will be my portion in Jesus name. Amen.

People, i submiited my application without an LOE. My explanation as regards POF was merged with my bank statements. I felt that was all i needed to explain. Any need for concerns?

Thanks.

No need, so long as there is no other grey area in your application.

APR 25, 2018 - DRAW PREDICTION:

I have come up with the prediction for the 88th draw.

If it happens today (Apr 25) with:
3500 ITAs - CRS 441
3750 ITAs - CRS 441
4000 ITAs - CRS 440

The variance in the above calculation is +/- 2 CRS.

Although there are some rumors that the next draw would be on Friday and not today

Is this from Uncle Abishek?? angry angry

Please if you know you want to ask those 'questions'... ask now oo... Those irrelevant questions would not be entertained in the next thread. One of the major reason why this thread has moved so fast is because some youths on this thread have been very lazy to research or simply go to Page 0.

Hope you people are hearing now grin grin

Hmmm this is dicey . However post partum depression is not a communicable disease and like you said she's already on anti depressants.

What your doctor meant is, when you get to Canada disclose to your GP.

Goodluck.

Lol, are you the doctor? how do you know what he could have meant? grin

I think he wants them to disclose it so they don't end up misrepresenting any medical information. Either way during the medical examination the Panel physician will ask for medical history during which they have to disclose it.

I don't think it will be an issue though. Its not communicable like you said and Canada is becoming more lenient regarding health restrictions.

PS: I don't have an ITA yet, just trying to put my documents together.

Aha! This is what I'm talking about. My sincere appreciation for the responses to my inquiries .
Can I still use the professional degree option or not?

I don't see why not especially since you are not claiming work experience as a Lawyer per se.

Legal intern doing all the legal services, BUT NOT representing someone in court.

Look at the NOC for Legal Administrative Assistants. It might be a good match and in that case you won't need to wait until next year for call to bar.

I'm getting more confused now. I must have seen someone on the thread say a paid internship can be claimed as work experience. The working experience was an internship and holding over. 40 hours and paid.

Seems like the situation is complicated than I thought.

Dont confuse yourself. Yes a paid internship can suffice I believe. However what were you interning as? What NOC?

Lets say someone comes and wants to claim internship as a doctor when he hasn't been admitted by MDCN, will it really fly? How can you claim to have interned as a doctor when you are not one?

Anyway, let others advise you on this. I wish you the best.

Actually this will do. I thought of holding back but I can start with the evaluation.

Does it also mean I cannot claim working experience for the 2 years service at a law firm before getting a practising licence?

I really don't know if you will be able to successfully claim it. Technically you shouldn't be able to practice law if you haven't been called to the bar so if an overzealous vo decides to compare dates in might raise flags.

This makes sense, thank you.

You're welcome. you don't need to wait until next year to start the process. Iqas can be a bit slow so why not start evaluating your LLB now and take your Ielts later in the year.
