The challenge which the Events Meter Mobile App seeks to solve is simple:

1.) To help users find events happening around them: Most times, we stumble on events only after they have taken place or a few days before the actual event, hence we miss out on events we ordinarily would have been a part of. The app seeks to create something of "a google for events in Nigeria" where users can find concerts, conferences, seminars, awards and get notifications on events of interest.

2.) The app allows events organisers upload pictures of thier event after the events has taken place. This section "the album section" allows users to like event albums and comment on pictures they like

The app is easy to use and has a nice interface. It is available on Google playstore or you could follow this link

Sorry to say, but you'll most likely not get the kind of information you seek here yourself. You would have to do some research.
1.) Get to google and get a checklist there. Make it as expansive as possible. Remember you'll probable get a list suited to American or European weddings.
2.) Now trim that list with your budget in mind. Strike out whatever it is that is not necessary. Substitute for those that have been omitted.
3) Decide on the number of guests you want at your event. This is very, very important.
4) Decide on what items you would want to prioritize. By this i mean, allot arbitrary costs to each item. You would surely get most of your budgeting wrong but it helps you in choosing what is priority.
5.) At this point, you are sure of what you want. Then, choose and option of getting a wedding planner to work with you you may put together a committee of really close friends who meet with you say every 10days to plan and manage your event and budget.

Your next meeting with your partner and both families sees you guys fix a date. Now, it’s real. Your wedding would finally happen. Suddenly, that rush comes again, you want to do everything the very next day. You try to book a caterer the next week, select a honeymoon destination the day after, select your ushers, get your wedding gown and even get your hair and make-up done in a weeks’ time. You are on an adrenaline-overdrive. Slow down, your wedding is still months away. First things first and here are seven of them.
1.) Draw up a timeline: Here, Google could just be the perfect friend. You could easily download several timelines from several different sites and tweak them to suite your our schedule.

2.) Draw up a checklist: Another visit to Google easily solves this. Having a personal checklist would help you be specific in what you want when you eventually get to meet your wedding planner.


3.) Get an estimate guest list: In today’s Nigeria, you’ll certainly need it. This may, however, involve consultations with the parents and relatives of both parties. Your guest list is ultimately important in fixing a budget.

4.) Fix that budget: Yeah! The pretty scary part right? How much would be just right? 500k? 1m? 2m? 5m? Well, it would just get easier if you pick a range. As narrow as possible. And stay in that range!!!


5.) Use all the help you can get: Remember those friends, colleagues and relatives who made loads of promises to assist in one form or another? Now is the time to see if they put their money where their mouth is. You never know how much help you could get, not necessarily financially though.

6.) Talk to a planner: Notice how this isn’t at the top of the list? Because, at this point, you have a pretty good idea of what you want and can direct the planner on what he should help you achieve.

7.) Achieve a little each week: Pretty much explains itself right? Do not let a single week pass without doing stuff related to your big event. Could be as minor as a phone to remind a vendor of certain specifics or a visit to the tailor to see how that dress is coming up. Nothing, at this point, is irrelevant and nothing should be left to chance. A good wedding planner should however cover all of these grounds on your behalf
