In a situation whereby you are not already employed in the oil and gas industry and still looking forward to a good job, I think it will not be a bad idea to get a good job oversea. Moreso, your family back home and your country at large stand to benefit at long run. just my thnikng.

If ptdf is keen at developing Nigeria, all certificate of scholars should be sent to ptdf's office by various universities of the scholars, and official ceremony be conducted by ptdf on their achievement. But, ptdf don't monitor that, apart sending you stipend for your upkeep. Scholars may even stay behind after the program, which is not encouraging.

At first, they stopped the aptitude test for MSc applicants and replaced it with interview which questions the credibility of the scheme to some extent. Secondly, it is possible that the names of successful applicants may not be published for the first time in many years, from the look of things.

On a lighter note, let us be optimistic. Remember they started the process with free application instead of selling scratch cards. I believe the number of successful candidate at the end of the selection processes will be more than 47/90. For transparency, they'll publish names when they are ready. However, even if we didnt get this one we keep on trying. One of my friends applied so many times before he made it 2017/2018 to UK. NEVER GIVE UP!!!. GOD's time is the best. Congrats to those contacted!

All what you wrote are false. I know a lot of staff in PTDF as they visited my school and we exchange contacts. So stop bragging that you know all the staff and officials in PTDF.

Why then is the interview, if it's not for further screening, as you're saying invitation automatically signals selection considering probably thousands of people invited nationwide and the number of scholarship slots too.

I was reliably informed that if you were invited for the last interview (FGC) it's highly likely that you are already selected, hence the Congratulations. Unless you have credentials issues.
