I discovered that not too many people want to join the Army....nobody wan die na. But I really appreciate y'all for keeping us up to date on this application. Real men are Soldiers!

This is not the main thread, that's why there are very few people commenting here and it seems like its just few applicants that wants the hit this year. There's been an ongoing thread since last year prior to and in anticipation of this year's enlistment excercise, that's where many of the applicants are and there's more insight and info flying over there. That thread is already on page 48 the last time I checked. Here's the link https://www.nairaland.com/2072648/nigerian-army-dssc-ssc-2015/46.

Thanks.

'Pastress' it is ''you don hear'' not ''we...''. if you like, hear or if you don't like, over-hear. Just giving an account of what I was made to know cos some are already giving up they can still keep hope alive, not everybody can squeeze out time to go there.

Congratulations! For as many of us who applied for the post of fire officer will definitely be called by our faith in God. Let us all begin to pray for the quick release of whichever list they want to release and stop spreading the fake rumours from my reliable and my oga @ the top stuff. My questions to you guyz is, do you think even the Senators and Rep members know what's going on at the Port Authority? Do you know the total numbers of applicant who've applied for this same post you're waiting for, and how we were lucky to be called for an aptitude text in our various centres? Let be thankful to God almighty for we were called among the multitude. The text/call will come the day we least expect. Good luck to all of us!

Whoever you are, God bless you for this post, we never lobbied to be called for Aptitude test, we were chosen amongst millions. Its something to bless God for. This is a real confirmation that God's in control, no matter what they do backstage. Let's keep hope alive and drop fake rumours. If ur 'reliable source' haven't said anytin pls don't confuse the thread, but then if you've got something genuine please don't be deterred from sharing. #Blessings

I believe you @Chibuike..., the worst that can happen is for NPA not to call pipz but do their backstage runs and a whole lotta pipz will back off, so for now nothing concrete then we chill and get infos but now there's a whole lotta stupid reliable infos. Its in God's hands, if he permits anyone of us, not even some dumb reliable info will make sense.

He should tell you who gave him the Info? That's funny. Its true we aint bothered anymore about info being peddled around but he has typed something and has asked someone whom he feels can confirm further to take it from here for the sake of the house and that's fair enough of him.

I pray we are all called. But please do anyone know how the training goes, because I got stuffs that am doing now. Thank to you all. @dbearer and others

Your comment is just the only comment worthy of attention, everything is just not normal but sometimes, when you watch things and with the way people influence things, then you wonder if there is God but I know there is and he will prove himself except he isn't. Dats all Brethren

Went to the HQ NPA today just to confirm, I was made to understand that they haven't called in pipz by the front desk lady although I believe there might be somethings she wouldn't know from the capacity she's operating on, just like the lobbyings and all other back stage stuff but in all things. Am not afraid. God's bigger than them all and he'll show himself except if he isn't.

Any info that some pipz have been called up is not true, I went to NPA headquarters myself and confirmed it and besides I reside in Apapa GRA too. As for FIRE OFFICERS, NPA is yet to invite candidates for interview.

As a rule, I NEVER EVER use absolute statements unless warranted, so saying that all Nigerians have a form of dubious act in them is an insult to the (few?) honest and hardworking Nigerians. Prior to the nairaland attack, there were several e-fights regarding this issue on several job threads; that there were such fights in the first place proves that not all Nigerians are dubious. Remember that nobody will come into your house, office etc to stop you from taking screen shots, but posting it online while the test is going on is no different from leaking WAEC/NECO questions before exams. If anyone really wants to help, while not compile the screenshots into a material and upload it online after the test to serve as preparatory materials? I related this issue to our graduates because they are the ones writing this test and posting screenshots online and of course, workforce saw and rectified their errors by making the questions harder which is why I tried to point out to MasterSplinter that workforce's incompetence cannot be blamed in this instance. Believe me, there are people who will still score ridiculously high marks despite the difficulty and without even cheating. Your post in its entirety attempts to defend the issue of revealing questions with several reasons (full of holes if I might add), do you really believe that posting screenshots of on going tests is in anyway helpful and not detrimental to the person posting it?
I was at an assessment centre recently where we were asked point blank by an hr personnel if we are on nairaland, the hr person then went on to advise us to reveal the details online (of course he was being sarcastic) so that those coming after us can appear at the AC 'all guns blazing' (in his words). He said that because they just concluded an assessment centre for another category of applicants where earlier attendees posted their experiences online during (rather than after) the process, I believe I don't need to say the outcome. My question is 'did those people enhance or diminish their chances giving others privileged information which they did not have before their assessment centre?'
P.S: I did not say or imply that people should not help others out, what I wrote in my post is that people should not cry foul when questions are changed or they are not shortlisted for a subsequent stage after they posted questions online for others who were yet to write the test.

Am glad people like you are being reasonable here because even with all said and experiences that some people are having, some others will still bring their village quotes and ideologies about "Help or not wanting others to succeed" and place it in a very wrong context of where everybody is a contestant scrambling for few available spaces. Even before you pointed this out, the moment someone told me that he was asked in an interview if he was on 'Nairaland' that was when I knew that employers have started having a very bad impression about Nairaland, I won't mention the Organization's name here, they log in and find out for themselves the irrational things some people demand from fellow candidates and are posted online, the immaturity of some who will always type rubbish in a bid to take a swipe at another, the grammatical blunders some do commit here gives them instant nausea. (Am quoting my friend). Even someone is soo proud to advertise that he/she is corrupt because of the corruption in the country and even trying to attribute it everyone else. #God help. Let's be properly guided. #Blessings.

It is not their incompetence, if you recall, someone said he heard them discussing in their office about how the questions are all over the internet. This is the result of having dubious and confused 'graduates'. How someone could take a test and post screen shots online baffles me and if anyone should complain they come up with reasons like 'I'm trying to help', I've taken my test and I'm not competing with anyone', 'you're one of those who like to hide textbooks back in school' the list is endless. The sad part is that some of these people will come back online when they get a regret mail and complain about how dragnet and workforce are scams.

God bless you for this post, atleast you could reason. Many pips will take a swipe at you for this but that's their problem, Workforce... have made errors in their previous questions to some candidates here but posting the questions online on the part of some pipz here (in the name of trying to offer some crappy help, plus all other village quotes and proverbs) and then waiting for workforce to put up same questions or something similar, will be too dumb of workforce. We need to be properly guided as graduates. #Blessings

The intel I got today is that they've already invited candidates for interview, I got mad at the woman who told me cos She's retired and she's got info on what's happening there cos she just goofed badly. She was like I should have been frequenting their office to ascertain things should incase any text message or Email didn't fly in but that wasn't wah we were told. She also said that She heard its late now even if my name showed up cos many candidates didn't come for the interview. I still doubt the credibility of her intel tho, so pipz you guys can still help confirm what's happening or what has happened cos I just wanna believe that it isn't the true position of things. #Blessings

Here in Lagos, some Senior Army Officers instead of releasing their passport photographs to people often pose for prospective cadets to take a pic of them with their phones and then go and print it themselves. So if any local govt...waheva refuses, find a way to snap him or her on code. BUT IF THE PERSON CATCH YOU, EM GO USE YOUR ATTESTATION... BLOW CATARRH

Yeah, there's info. The Info is that Nairaland is back up again and we're waiting for the NA shortlist... Or any prior intel to that which will be made known to all through the same website everybody here got into and any of the Nigerian dailies... They don't give any special #info to anybody.

You are right @Emma but its good to refer to a thread so we can get some things clear. People disagree to agree, but we shouldn't cross the line. Talking down on people can be very disastrous, most especially when you make the person feel he/she isn't worth the job because of his/her opinion or a little error, it goes beyond NL, can affect the person's state of mind, we've got like minds here bro, let us update one another! Exhort one another and wish one another well. Enjoy.

Even though the dude has made some spelling errors or may be some other grammatical stuff, we all understood what he's trying to insinuate. That joke was far too expensive pls. Why insult the dude? Some is saying "Nigerian airforce, one chance, etc" that's very wrong. My man @Gambudu claimed to help but there's no help in ur post you abused him and now beg him not to return the abuse. @the NAF base where I wrote the exam, u need to hear one flying officer and one other officer of a higher rank with their English then you'll know that to get yourself enlisted is not by English but GOD.
Pls check the Nigerian Navy thread and see MASSIVE ABUSES and SWEARING, make una no bring am come here.
