No, once you withdraw your application it means that you're no longer interested and you will be unable to reapply so just leave it as it is, you might be lucky to get shortlisted even without the cover letter

Better if you do, the shortlisting criteria can be stringent, so it is better to put your best foot forward and leave no stone untouched

PTDF will no longer send scholars to China.

Total's scholarship is €1200 for those in Paris and €1150 for other locations paid monthly throughout the duration of the master's along with the tuition of the chosen school

Scholarships come with a value which the awarding bodies are usually transparent about. E.g. recipients of the Eiffel scholarship get a monthly stipend of €1,181 that can be awarded for 12-36 months. I haven’t seen the value of this Total scholarship in terms of monthly allowance/stipend. Anyone with this information should kindly share.

A scholarship is not a job, they pay for your education abroad and all other associated costs, that is the benefit

Yes that was last year's format however this year's format can change. 1st class 30 pts, 2:1 24 pts 2:2 18 pts. 5 subjects with english and maths and 3 others depending on course/combination. A1 = 6 pts, B2 = 5 pts, B3 = 4 pts, C4= 3 pts, C5 = 2 pts C6 = 1pt, SoP/interview 25 pts, 2.5 pts for high impact journal (max 2) and 2 points each for awards (max 5)

Keep trying and networking for engineering opportunities - as for graduate trainee some still have upper limits of 30 or 31 years old with some without any age limits, just year of graduation

Stay at your job and depending on when you graduated - keep applying for graduate trainee opportunities that come up in engineering. You should also monitor scholarhsip opportunities that come up which will give you a chance to get a master's in Engineering

Please, what are the guidelines for changing your course or school after getting the scholarship? Can you change to a course not listed by ptdf under a school on the ptdf list? can you change to a course listed by ptdf but to a non ptdf approved school? or do you have to change to a listed course at a ptdf approved school.

Also about the monthly stipend for UK students in non london schools, i know it used to be 1550 pounds monthly, is it still the same? And how much more do students going to london schools receive?

I seriously doubt it will be canceled. PENGASSAN will not allow that. Don't forget they don't put such in offer letters. They are all embedded in the clause that says benefits are as stipulated in NNPC's condition of service.

There is no way that N1.5m quoted will be the only pay for GTs. NNPC is an oil company, not a ministry. Anyhow, the total package is competitive with other oil companies (bar IOCs and other top upstream independents).

But I haven't even gotten a mail for the first test. Though I keep checking my application on leaply and it keeps moving.
