Royver: congratulations to the winners! Especially eyeye, you have piqued my interest for sculpting, that your model is a masterpiece. I wonder, do I need zbrush to do this or can I use Sculptris?
Also for the paticipants kudos! It wasnt easy at all and needed a lot of effort.

Any is fine really they both do complex sculpt as well as hard surface, but my advice is you should study zbrush AND have a wacom pen, that way you would enjoy sculpting cheesy

Ok here is the final image grin after enlarging the arms a little i ported the mesh to photoshop added a background smoke and fire flints, painted over the cracks using colour dodge. My pc can't handle any huge render program so i used zbrush inbuilt render mode (fast bpr mode).

so yeah, had to reduce the polys and split the mesh limbs into subtools so that i can easily re-size and pose each part seperately

kazuna:
Had mention four mills vertex....are u using hp Z1?
Or is zbrush just capable of handling such high polycount without impacting ur system?

Zbrush mostly uses ram...mainly i think, but i find it less taxing to reducing into low subdivision, pose, enlarge then switch back. I can't use dynamesh cus it really kills my pc...as in the processing LED does not flash it just stays constantly on.... embarassed and the fan?...choi...on the down side rendering isn't so great, it's better you use another render program...well that's if you have a good rig unlike me i have to make due.

Wow!
Stand up and move around a little.

What version of Z-brush do you use?

Yah i will thanks, it's zbrush 4r6. it's highly dependent on wacom or any other digital pen tablet since it's mainly for sculpting.

Politics / True Muslim Will Never Kill Innocent People – Jonathan by eyeaye: 4:54pm On Jul 03, 2014
I actually registered to post this...since no one did.

Speaking in a Ramadan message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Rueben Abati, in Abuja, the President said, “I urge all lovers of peace and unity to wholly condemn the resurgence of efforts by agents of global terrorism to disunite and destabilise Nigeria by callously instigating violence among religious groups.”

In the statement Goodluck Jonathan stressed out that he fully agrees with the Islamic leaders and scholars that no true Muslim at any time, especially during the sacred month of Ramadan, will resort to the mindless killing of innocent people. It expressed the President’s belief that Boko Haram attacks showed that its leaders and members were misguided persons who used religion to commit crimes.
