Politics / Re: Supporters Mob Atiku In Gombe (Pictures) by Eyiwunmi33(m): 8:21pm On Aug 11, 2022
doxtun:
It’s a good thing Atiku is running under PDP and not wike. Atiku and Tinubu are doing great disservice to each other. I see Obi cruising to Victory in 2023. My only concern is this; I’m not sure the northern cabal will be able to withstand an Obi victory. I hope this does not lead to the breakup of Nigeria. It is one thing to be a Christian President but also an Igbo man might be too much for them to handle. Let’s see how it plays out.
If PO's presidency will purge the North off Nigeria, I'm voting him.

You are a guest. My dad will never oblige your request.
Whether he allows him or not is not what matters here. What matter is his offer to help. I would do the same for her dad.
Literature / Re: Who Is Your Favorite Poet? by Eyiwunmi33(m): 9:12pm On Jun 12, 2022
Realists:
My favorite poet is Imru' al-Qais (501-565)
"May You Be Happy This Morning, Worn Traces!
How many a day, a night I'd spend
with a woman, stark as a statue outlined,
her face aglow as she turns to her mate
like softly radiant candle light;
her breast like the flare of a generous fire
by chilled men lit in the desert at night
in the wind come roving across the hills,
north, south, at the caravan staging posts.

Clear-cheeked, in her teens, so playful yet
that she makes me forget my clothes when I leave;
with rounds like the dunes that as children we loved
to tread for their smooth and velvety touch.
When her lover strips her, wanting all,
she leans to him lightly, holding back;
slim at the waist and firm as she twists
with quickening breath from intoxicant lips.
Umru Qais was an Arabian poet. I guess you translated this.

And she got the ticket in APC not SDP oooo
Without knowing anybody?

That can't happen in Naija for now
Who would come from an elite family and attended a college of education? Not even a Nigerian private university.

That's courageous of her

But how was she able to get the ticket?

She must be the daughter of someone or related to somebody
Looking at her background, she is not from an elite family

This isn't as a result of giving room to Shariah law, it's because they are fanatics full of zeal but yet ignorant.

Had it been true justice has been served to those first ones, this wouldnt have happened. This is madness to be serious.
Romance / Re: My Trip To The Market With My Landlord's Son... by Eyiwunmi33(m): 12:10pm On Jun 04, 2022
BoredBerry:
Just came back from the market... Went there with my landlord's son... This afternoon he saw me going out and asked where I was heading to... Told him... He asked if he could accompany me and I said yes! He was getting a few things too (a mop and buckets and so on...)

I've never spoken to him before... I thought he was an arrogant self-absorbed snub... Not my type... He's a few years older... I'm nineteen so he's between twenty one to twenty three... Very fair... Has curly hair which he dyed dirty blond but left the roots black... Pierced both ears... Dad is a police man... So it's insane he allows his son go out looking like a yahoo boy... grin

Anyways... He and I trekked a little... We barely spoke... I was extremely shy... grin

We stay in a very quiet predominantly hausa- fulani- yoruba muslim community... After some minutes we finally stopped a bike... He said we would ride together... I told him 'No'... I never tried that sh** with my exes and sure a as hell wouldn't start with him... But after waiting to no avail... I relented... grin

It was uncomfortable and extremely exciting! Being really close to cute guy! A lot of bad thoughts butI was also scared a neighbour would see he and Iand report us to my mum... grin

We got to the market which is extremely disorganized! We split up... He went his own way to get what he wanted to buy... And I went to the stalls selling tomatoes and pepper and bought some onions from a mallam...

He and I met again... He asked if I was done so we would head back to our compound together... I told him I had to grind them cause the blender at home was faulty...

In the market... There's a section where yoruba women grind tomatoes or egusi etc... We got there... The lady I chose cause her engine was the cleanest started to tease us... My landlord's son is an aje-butter... He was choking turning red... grin

It felt good... Cause he was a bit humiliated which made me confident...

The woman asked if we were dating... I couldn't say no... Kept laughing throughout... He didn't say anything.... I think it's a good thing... He made it seem as though we were together...

We finished there... Started talking really well... He's funny... Smart too... Plus he's cute so I enjoyed us being seen together as much as being with him... grin

We went to a cold room to get some chicken... Nothing much happened there... He paid though... I refused cause I had the money... But I couldn't make a scene... We later spent the money on sweets and soft drinks... Which was fun...

His mum called... Asked him to go to his aunt's wine shop to get something... I didn't follow him cause it's already late... Went home alone...
@bolded, would see him and me.
Nice write-up anyway.

Another stupidity displaying.. They asked you to qoute a Bible verse where someone was killed and burnt for insulting Jehovah or Jesus Christ up till now you are still moribund

See dumb question, who change blasphemy cheesy did you ever read it in the Bible that blasphemy was changed or you don't know how to put the question?

This is another bloody act from your paedophile prophet called Muhammad

Uqba bin Abu Muayt was captured in the Battle of Badr and was killed instead of being ransomed, because he threw dead animal entrails on Muhammad, and wrapped his garmet around Muhammad's neck while he was praying

Narrated `Urwa bin Az-Zubair:

I asked `Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-`As to inform me of the worst thing the pagans had done to Allah's Apostle. He said: "While Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was praying in the courtyard of the Ka`ba, `Uqba bin Abi Mu'ait came and seized Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) by the shoulder and twisted his garment round his neck and throttled him severely. Abu Bakr came and seized `Uqba's shoulder and threw him away from Allah's Apostle and said, "Would you kill a man because he says: 'My Lord is Allah,' and has come to you with clear Signs from your Lord?" (40.28)

I love the way you're displaying your stupidity, if Bible talks about blasphemy did you ever see anyone killed and burnt for insulting Jesus Christ? Why fighting for your god? Is your god including his paedophile prophet powerless to fight for themselves? You need to reason from your brain and refute not to be brainwashed
That's where you are dumb. Execution of a person for blasphemy is not killing for anyone, it's rather a penalty for a crime punishable by death. It's the law. If violator knows the law, and still go ahead to violate; then he shall face the consequences. Are death sentences in Nigeria killing for the government or anybody?
You are just too dumb.

Many countries of the world, not Islamic States alone, use capital punishment. What crime is punishable by death hinges on the country making the law and how the crime may affect their society. For some country, it's embezzlement and whatnots. For another, it's blasphemy against Prophet MUHAMMED, the symbol of their authority.

And why is the punishment for blasphemy in the bible not applicable? Why has it been changed? Is it that the god who gave you the bible made a mistake or imperfect?
I want to know who changeg it. Is he higher than the lord or what?

The same bible that's been messed up with. You, yourself, should bring out. I don't go around reading what's useless for me. Nah u be poke-nising type.

Look at how troll comments were immediately wiped off from here without even calling on the mods.

But outside any Muslim thread, when you call on mods to ban and delete troll comments, they ignore you.

They are going to do the same if it's a christian thread. Or Is owner of NL a muslim?

Eyiwunmi33 tell your fellow Islamic slaves to stop that act cheesy
Whether you do it or not, there is in the bible a verse that prescribes death for blasphemy.
To end it all, killing for the Prophet does not exist anywhere. In Islamic states, the Prophet is a symbol of authority. Insulting his personality is tantamount to insulting the authority. There is a law against that, and the punishment is capital punishment.
Islamic states are not the only countries that use capital punishment biko.

There is no blood sucking prophet nah noble Prophet we have.
