I am sorry for not posting transcript earlier. I've had issues logging in & a bit busy. Visa approved on Tuesday 11th July 2017 in Abuja by 9am appointment time but 11am actual interview time.

People were being denied so much that day but it was surprising because many didn't answer questions well. The VOs were patient and repeated questions when you didn't answer well.

VO: good morning. Your documents pls
Me: Good morning while passing my documents,

VO: why are you going to Tennessee State Uni?
Me: because I got a GA and the research that I will be in is....

VO: it's okay. (Typed for a while). How many schools did you apply to?
Me: 4

VO: name them
Me: Uni of Cincinnati, Ohio State Uni, Tennessee State Uni and ummmmm....(thought for abt 30secs and he was patient o) University of Utah (instead of Texas Tech Uni even though I still applied and got admission in Utah)

VO: how many gave you admission?
Me: 3

VO: name them
Me: UC, Utah and Tennessee State.

VO: Why didn't you go to Utah
Me: (Na you go pay?) Because of the funding in Tennessee

VO: Which course did you study in your UG?
Me: Environmental Technology

VO: where?
Me: FUTO

VO: ok I will be approving your visa. Read these 2 papers (1 and half white papers).
Me: ok bye bye.

me: I finished my BSc in BCH in 2009

me: did my national service in 2010, engaged with personal tutorial in 2011, started my MSc in Health promotion in 2012 (vo cut in)
vo: how long is the program you are going for?
me: it is actually a two years masters program but one year is stated on the I20 becuase that is the period for the compulsory foundational class (i was not organised any longer because her countenance changed)
vo: (busy typing seriously)
me: ( as a researcher, I just started talking about the research works that I have been involved in: the gaps and the narrow objective of our previous works relating it to my intending course of study and how the gaps can be closed and the objectives widen up...)
vo: (got her attention. hung up the typing but still at the typing posture, then observing my drama)

Minnesota State University, Mankato doesn't require GRE for Environmental Science. The only challenge u will face is that u must register with educationusa nd they will mail the school to inform them that u have registered.

does this school give funding for their environmental science?

No one will give nor offer any names... Start from Alaska and work your way down to Wyoming , you will find a school ... Come to think of it both Universities of Alaska Fairbanks and Wyoming have strong environmental sciences program.... Bros go and do your research

Too late for Fall 2016... You can try Spring 2017 or better still Fall 2017, Most Fall 2017 application would open by August and application to most decent schools are due by January/February.
Now let me speak the truth to you one which I learned the hard way, while your profile is decent it is by no means awesome and by awesome I mean Top 20/Top 50 awesome. Don't make selections like University of Texas, Austin, University of Notre dame , Vanderbilt University and feel you have applied... Spread your risks I am not telling you not to aim high but be realistic.
If you can write another GRE do so, 307 is not that awesome. That been said many schools offer assistantship for Environmental science/engineering. Wish you all the best

thanks for the reply. I don't want to write another GRE. I'm preparing for Fall 2017. I want to get everything ready. Honestly I don't mind going for schools ranked 50+. I just want to do Masters in a good school. I just want some names.

@pennstate. Mainly WasteWater treatment, waste management, recycling, bioremediation and other forms of remediations, general pollution control. I can comfortably fit into any of these research areas
