@ klerry, bellong,
Thank you so much guys. I really appreciate. I will go for electrical. But i think I will still add my 1 yr private firm experience and try to get a job appointment letter and ref letter from them, and maybe also, the company's registration certificate. Reason being that that experience is on my profile as in my present institution's website, the link which I intend adding for EA verification.
I'm awaiting ielts result, coming in a week's time. Looking at CDR writing ( will be needing a good guide n samples here please) from the upper WK regardless of Ielts result.

My point stands at the least: age @ 25, english @ 10, work exp @ 15 ( at most by DEC), Education @ 15 ..Total @ 65....
Still contemplating going for 5points Partners Skill or just go for 489 visa with my 65 points.Wify hv bsc microbiology, currently running her MSc. So, I wouldnt know how her sitting for the Ielts will be considering her already huge loads as per being heavy n the MSc program too, or I should just free her. I will appreciate any advice here too.

Thank you all our able guides here, and more power to your elbow.
I need a guide here pls, particularly from those that are conversant with EA assessment. My profile and questions are as follows:

I have a B.Eng degree, Electronic Engr from a fed uni, worked with a private firm for a year and then a govt institution for 7 yrs and 4 months counting. My job title and experiences has been electrical Engr in nature. I'm also COREN registered, Electronic engr, though I would HV preferred Electrical but there's no option of nomination as its done wt EA. I think COREN registration is primarily based on academic qualifications.

NOW MY QUESTIONS: to nominate electronic or electrical engr? If electronic, wont I hv big odds as I don't HV much experiences as per would be CDR contents....if electrical, would my COREN reg as electronic engr not go against me in EA assessment as Electrical engr or I should just skip that part of professional registration and not upload anything. Also as electrical, does Additional Services application applies to me ?

Also, I would like to claim the max point as per 8 yrs working experience. My present work wt govt is 7 yrs n 4 months counting, n that is clearly verifiable. The other 1 yr wt private firm I'm afraid may not be cos there's no document at all, no payslips, no contract. The firm is registered but at present existing only in papers. I can contact the owner though if I need anything but I wouldn't knw what EA would ask for and the possibillty of the firm' owner having them. If I go for the assessment now n maybe get only that 7 yrs +, would my yrs of work experience n points automatically increase as I clock 8 yrs at my present job by DEC time? Or I would be needing a reassessment by then? ..

From EA booklet, I understand their assessment outcome doesn't expire, but I have seen someone here crying out of his own expiring soon. I need clarification here too.
