In 2014 I just finished NYSC and moved to Ilorin to seek jobs and also pursue my masters degree. I applied God knows how many jobs online in a bid to explore opportunities. One night as I was doing my usual evening browsing, i got a text message to come for an interview at lumex school around Taiwo. I was glad that 'opportunities' were knocking on my doors, which prompted me to iron my packet shirt and chinos to get ready for the big day.

The interview was slated for 10a.m and I already got my ass there before 9a.m. I met other people waiting and got excited to be part of those who will slug things out for the post of Video editor. We all waited patiently until some people in clean suit came by and informed us the interview would commence shortly. We all composed ourselves so that they won't find an opportunity to disqualify anybody.

At about 10:30, the 'interview' commenced. Little did we know that what was meant to be an interview, turned out to be an 8 hours lectures where we were lectured about how network marketing is that next big thing and how we don't need our certificates to earn millions. At the end of the lectures, we were asked to pay the sum of 10k for registration fees and licensing to be part of them. Those that opted out didn't waste no time. I was having my doubts about its genuineity and told my dad that I will not go for it. This man gave me the money that night and pressured me to go, that something good could come out of it. If not for home training, I would have disobeyed and squandered the money, but I didn't want my ancestors to swear for my future generations. I went the next day and paid. They told me I would commence training on health talks and plan how we can make money of it.

too many things came to my mind but I decided I would not sleep with her, no matter what she did.

by october last year I gained admission to do my msc in unilorin. I told her about it and that I would be leaving anytime soon. that was when she was pleading that she must see me and I should give her a date she would visit.

I told her I would go on d 24th october and I told her to come on the 20th. When she came she ate food and watched movie. after that she started making seductive moves by unzipping the back of her dress and laid down.

One sunday like that, i drove my couz there and the lady glad to see me. First question she asked was 'so u drive?'. I dodged the question and we proceeded to her living room.

Her mum came to meet me and she was very nice. after we gisted a lil while, she started asking me to marry her daughter. I just smiled and the lady shouted 'shey it is u that dont want to ask me out' and i told her 'u no well'.

to cut story of that day short, I didnt stay at the house for long so I left my couz there and left. I picked her up in the evening and carried my wahala and went home. Only God knows what they must have talked about but I was least interested in knowing.

When she said that, I decided it was high time I forgot about her existence and move on with my life. I finished my nysc and relocated to ilorin to see if I can start a life and school there for my postgraduate studies. that was in 2014. I was slugging things out and was also unable to get admission in 2014 n 2015. I was devasted and decided to spend a year in Kaduna to clear my head in 2016. I still did not bother about contacting the lady while I was in kaduna.

My cousin one day asked after her and I told her we had not spoken in years. It provoked her and said we had to visit her. I told her i will not have time but she already conived with her that we would visit a certain day. Since it was beyond her control, i just obliged for the sake of peace

I waited a few months before popping the question. That was the period I felt what it meant to be friendzoned. There was nothing I did not do to appease her but all I get at the end of the day was 'I love yo so much... I really do.... but just as a brother'. decided I would scatter it so that her eyes
would not glitter when she sees how neat it
was. The day she came, we had a nice time.
We talked, watched movies, pillow fought,
strolled out my hood. After the day passed
by I paid her t.fare and she enrouted her
house. I started developing feelings at the
time but i didnt wanna rush things as she
just broke up with her man.

While i was learning after my secondary school. Whenever my parents were out, i would use the spare car at home to practise reversing in my small compound. After feeling myself a pro, i decided to park is back where i carried it. I decided to do 'james BOND' and speed towards the parking area. After speeding i would match the brake hard to initiate screeching.

Foolishly of me, my brain was telling me not to hit the brakes and see what would happen if i hit the wall (devil truly whispers to one oooo).

So while i was speeding i refused stepping on the brake and BOOM! There went the downfall of our fence. Luckily it was only the size of the car that ate the fence.

Asides from that luck, i didn't hit the mast behind us, the BMW 2 series did not dent except with minor scratches and broken trafficating light. Since that day i never tried any stunt
