Nigerians are just crying like babies not knowing what they are crying for. If our president is in hospital in Nigeria, won't we know his health situation? When our most inflential men go abroad for treatment neglecting our own hospitals here, what do you expect? Why are people crying. Are there so many dummies in Nigeria? Can't somebody tell them that every patient has his right to privacy? Doctors will not divulge any information concerning a patient contrary to his consent. The cry should be that ALL GOVERMENT OFFICIALS should stop going abroad for treatment. This is the only way we can force them to equip our hospitals If we don't fight it now, it is never. Is somebody there who can reason well? GOD HAVE MERCY.

You are correct in your observation as much as you are talking about Nigeria. Abi? The truth is that this is very common in pubic health institutions. 'm part of the health system although 'm in private sector. I want you to know that it is just a reflection of our society. Nobody to check anybody. Who will call people to order when your president is outside the country for treatment. Government officials and influential people in the society go abroad for treatment and even check-up. They have no respect for our hospitals, no control, no commitment, ONLY LIP SERVICE. So, let's continue to pray for ivisionary leaders for Nigeria. Until then, God have mercy

I am a professional in the health industry and I have an ambulance that I drive often. I notice that in this part of the world, people use ambulance to convey corpse (dead bodies) and they blow siren for dead bodies. Some even speed while some take one-way to drive against the traffic. I have embarrassed many of them by stopping them to educate them. Surprisingly, big men & top government functionaries are involved. They drive in convoy and blow siren on top speed while going for burial. Does that mean they too are fools? If you carry a dead body why are you in a hurry? The person is dead! Are you in a hurry to bury the body? Why speed? Let the police begin to arrest and prosecute offenders and let the educated public join in enlighitennent campaign. Ambulances are used for emergencies rush a patient to the hospital for urgent attention or to convey a needical personnel to attend to emergency. The general public is so disorientated that when an ambulance is on emergency, they usually assume it carries a dead body and so they see no reason to give the ambulance the right of way. GOITRE. Goitre is an enlargement of the thyroid gland. Thyroid gland is situated in front of the neck & becomes enlarged (swell-up) when overworked or stressed anytime it attempts to compensate for inadequate iodine, or being overstimulated by pituitary gland. If you have a swelling in front of your neck & experience dizziness, hoarseness, or difficulty in swallowing, it may be goitre. There are two types of goitre: Simple and Toxic goitre. Simple goitre is characterised by underactivity, lethargy, slowed mental & physical functions, depression, lower heart rate, intolerance to cold, constipation, tingling & numbness in the hands. BODY ODOUR
