julzz: MTN internet connection times out for some reason. The solution is to use Airtel network or try any other internet service provider. 2 Likes |

Bb007: If you are DIY at Festac and your passport has not been produced for 5 or 6 months, go and report to the PCO like I explained earlier and your passport will be produced and activated within a week. I did same and got positive result. The PCO is a good man. You don't have to bribe anybody to get it done |

Mukah1234: The truth of the matter is that your file was abandoned because you are a DIY. Don't just fold your hands. Go back there with your slip and climb upstairs to see the PCO (a very good man). The officers there may not allow you initially but you should insist. They might even tell you to go and see the second in command (2/i/c PCO) in the other building because he's also very corrupt just like them. If you go there, first thing he will ask you is whether you are willing to fast track it. If they refuse you seeing the PCO initially, you can go downstairs or outside, wait for say 30 minutes and go back to the PCO's office telling them that the 2/i/c directed you to him. When you get in, explain your situation to him. He will help you. 2 Likes |

Abeg make una help me. I need answers biko I'm going for business (B1/B2) and I have a registered company (Limited) which I filled in my DS-160 as my present place of work. I have all company registration documents, certificates and bank statements. I haven't traveled out of the country before. I intend staying for a month. 1. Do I need to provide my personal bank statements in addition to the company bank statements? 2. Do I need to provide tax clearance certificate as well? Is it mandatory? Will it increase my chances? 3. I have a piece of land in Lagos I bought in my name sometime ago. I have only done the land surevey. Should I provide the deed of assignment as well? 4. How soon before my interview should I get the invitation letter from my contact in the US? 5. How many months account statement should I go with? 6. I also wish to update my DS-160 form. Is there anyway to copy the previous record and then change what I want or do I have to start all over? Is there a deadline for updating DS-160 before the interview date? I filled it last month. 7. For those fresh applicants who were issued visas recently, how many years visa did you get? |

Please I need clarification on this: I applied for B1/B2 visa (This is my first time traveling out of the country). I'm going to the US for business. I'm an importer and I operate with a registered company name (Limited) I have all company registration documents but I don't have a tax clearance certificate for my company. 1. Will tax clearance certificate be required if I'm presenting the company's statement of account or should I switch to a personal account instead? 2. If I switch to a personal account, will tax clearance be required too? 3. What's the best way to present my case? N.B: getting the tax clearance certificate for the company right now will not be possible as I will most likely be charged a whole lot for it without even getting any form of support from the government. |
