Religion / Four Years After SCOAN Building Collapse: In Defence Of Prophet T.B. Joshua by femioyewale: 10:00am On Aug 30, 2018
"We have a stable terrain in Ikotun Egbe. I have been in this place for about 30 years with no record of building collapse. As a minister of the gospel, our first priority is saving lives. There is no compromise in what we do at all. We have left the security to do their job. Let us believe and educate our people and be alert. This is not the first time. No matter how long a lie is sustained, truth with some day prevail. We should remember the militant who came here with a bomb but eventually was arrested. People said it was a lie.” The above were the words of Prophet T.B. Joshua following the September 2014 collapse of one of the church’s buildings.
It was both shocking and horrendous; an experience no right thinking individual would quickly forget. The fatalities were huge and the level of damage could only be imagined. About four years ago, the devil and his cohorts raised their ugly heads to frustrate the wondrous work that the Almighty God had appointed the senior prophet of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet T.B. Joshua, to carry out to all nations of the world: the preaching of the gospel and bringing healing, hope and health to a troubled world in the name of Jesus. In September, 2014, one of the guest houses owned by the church had crumbled killing many and bringing a dark cloud to temporarily bear on the church of the living God. The world was shocked yet true believers and followers of the man of God were not discouraged.
Speaking to a rather troubled world, Prophet Joshua had insisted that God was behind him and that the perpetrators of the dastardly act would be brought to book. He contended that the CCTV coverage of the incident clearly indicated that an aircraft flew at an altitude that was dangerously too low thereby triggering the collapse of the building. Cynics and critics of the man of God laughed, debunking his stand that the collapse of the building had nothing to do with the structure of the building. That building did not collapse as a result of any result resulting from the structural integrity of that property.
After almost four years, precisely in May this year, an Assistant Commissioner of Police, Alaba Haruna, told a Lagos High Court that an aircraft flew over the Synagogue Church of All Nations building at Ikotun-Egbe, just before it collapsed on September 12, 2014.
He said one of his patrol teams observed an aircraft flying low over the church and other buildings in the premises.
Mr Haruna testified before Justice Lateef Lawal-Akapo of an Igbosere High Court on Lagos Island as a defence witness in the trial of the registered trustees of the church and four others.
The other defendants were the two engineers who built the building: Messrs Oladele Ogundeji and Akinbela Fatiregun, and their companies, Hardrock Construction and Engineering Company and Jandy Trust Ltd.
It must be stated that Mr Haruna, Area Commander of the Eastern Ports Command, Port Harcourt, Rivers, was the Divisional Police Officer at Ikotun-Egbe at the time the building collapsed.
For the avoidance of doubt, it is indeed worthy to here make a recap of what Mr Haruna said: “On that fateful day on September12, 2014 at 12.30 p.m., there was a radio communication from the police control room at Ikeja that they were receiving calls from the public of an aircraft flying at low altitude over the church.
“I was directed by the Area Command to confirm the incident and monitor the aircraft’s activities. I wanted to go out and direct my men to watch out for the aircraft when I received another report of an airplane flying at a very low altitude. I went outside but I couldn’t see it, by that time it had gone.
“I received a call later from Insp. Lucky Ugbaja, stationed at the church that one of the church’s buildings had collapsed.”
According to him, the radio room had earlier radioed the Police Airport Command to confirm whether it was carrying out any activity in the church vicinity.
Mr Haruna said when he arrived at the church’s premises there was a large crowd and the few police officers there were trying to manage the situation.
He said onlookers kept trooping in and the crowd spilled to the roads outside the church, causing serious gridlock.
“We were overwhelmed,” Mr Haruna told the judge, adding that he called for more police officers and were provided.
According to him, the floors of the collapsed building were lying one on the other, “the church members and others at the scene were engaged in rescue operations.
“Those I met there were church worshipers; they were bringing out so many people from under the rubble. Most of the victims were alive. Some were injured, some were not.
“Later the Red Cross, Life Savers, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) arrived and joined us in the rescue.”
The various checks have been conducted both by local and foreign structural engineers. They have the unity of submission that the structure was in perfect condition and was not defective. And now, a top serving police officer whose jurisdiction covered the church has testified before the court, corroborated what Prophet Joshua said of an aircraft whose activities brought down the building.
Today, while we remember the martyrs who died in the tragedy perpetrated by haters of the gospel, we must all offer prayers for the repose of the souls of those who died and the continued strength and fortitude for Prophet T.B. Joshua to continue in his master’s business of propagating the gospel of the Lord Jesus. Yes, like the man in the synagogue said no matter how long a lie is told, truth will prevail. The case against the church should be struck out and if those responsible for the act are not apprehended by state, many faithful take solace with the man of God that the almighty God would serve vengeance of the evildoers.

Business / My Covenant With Ifo Constituency 1- Fola Onifade by femioyewale: 1:01pm On Aug 25, 2018
MY COVENANT WITH IFO CONSTITUENCY 1- Fola Onifade

Business mogul, Fola Onifade has opened up on his plans for his constituency if elected Into Ogun State House of Assembly , Ifo 1:

Dear compatriots! It is not enough to come before you for your support and votes. I must also be able to convince you that I deserve that which I seek from you support.

That is why I am front loading my manifesto upon which you will judge me after my stewardship in 2023. I will set them out in outlines; and, as we go around seeking your support, we will explain them better while also counting on your inputs and modifications.

Although there was a great argument as to whether we should list out our programs or not; so that others will not copy them. But it will be to the benefit of the people if our ideas are copied and positively applied for the benefit of mankind.

Constituency Projects
1. Free bus Transit for both students and residents as contained our 2011 manifesto.
2. Market men and women revolving loan to be managed by the leadership of the markets within Ifo Constituency 1.
3. Worship areas intervention funds to ease petty expenses of major worship centers within Ifo Constituency 1.
4. Installation of 1 borehole per month within the constituency giving a target of 50 boreholes within the term.
5. Establishment of one Resource Centre each in Ifo LG and Coker/Ibogun LCDA with a mandate to creat opportunities for our people in terms of business connections and exposures.
6. Establishment of an Educational corps within the constituency. This program will provide free summer tutorials to WASC student preparing for school certificate examination by experienced teachers within the constituency and free study kits to the students.
7. Annual sponsorship of at least 20 people to the Community training institute to be nominated and managed by the Area CDCs.

LEGISLATIVE
1. Sponsorship of a bill that will establish THE OGUN STATE ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT FUND ACT. The law will establish a fund of not less than 5% of the annual state budget to fund small business startup while at the same time attract over 1,000,000 resident in State tax net.
2. Sponsorship of a bill that will establish THE OGUN STATE MILLIONAIRE FARMERS ACT. The law will establish a community of well motivated farmers as a springboard for the State’s agricultural revolution.
3. Sponsor a bill that will establish THE IBOGUN INDUSTRIAL ZONE ACT. The law will convert the Ibogun forest reserve into an industrial zone. We have always complained about the lack of industries in Ifo; the reason is that there is no industrial zone in Ifo like neighboring local governments like Otta or Ewekoro. The solution is to convert the fallow forest reserve into an industrial zone that will rival the Agbara industrial zone. The beauty of this is that the proposed location is just about 30 minutes from Ifo to Atan junction via Ibogun or Coker.

Above all, I assure you of rotational monthly meetings to be organized by the CDCs and the CDAs with our Monarchs and Baale in attendance. This will keep us abreast of the impact of our ideas and the areas where we need to improve upon.

Thank you and GOD bless.

God's hand is upon saraki: Apostle Omotosho No 6 prophecy comes to pass?

Just few days after releasing fresh prophetic warnings, one of the predictions of the oracle of God, Apostle Omotosho Tope Joseph of OTJ ministries has come to pass?

The no 6 of his prophecies stated that I saw law enforcement agencies arresting arms smugglers while trying to ship in arms and ammunition and a popular politician will be indicted and exposed as their Baron.

Reportedly in Sahara reporter, A Russian-registered cargo ship carrying weapons and explosives said to be en route to Nigeria has been intercepted in South Africa.

The vessel, named Lada, which was boarded by the South African Police, according to reports, left Madagascar before stopping at Ngqura port, outside the eastern city of Port Elizabeth, where it was detained after a security check on Sunday.

Olwethu Mdabula, spokeswoman for the Transnet state transport company, told AFP: "We are aware that she has dangerous cargo - explosives and weapons - on board."

She, however, declined to give further details.

Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi, spokesman for the Hawks Police Investigative Unit, also confirmed to AFP that the ship contained weapons.

Business / Tokunbo Abiru-led Skye Bank Renders Over 3000 Homeless In Lagos by femioyewale: 8:45am On Aug 22, 2018
Tokunbo Abiru-led Skye Bank renders over 3000 homeless in Lagos

While the President Muhammadu Buhari administration is striving so hard to achieve its target of delivering affordable housing to the people, the Tokunbo Abiru-led financial institution and its subsidiary on Thursday, July 26th 2018 visited hardship on the Glorious Villa Community in Ibeju Lekki Local Government Area of Lagos State which housed over 3000 inhabitants when they demolished the properties.Skye Bank Plc and its subsidiary, Skye Trustees Limited are currently enmeshed in fresh controversy following the demolition of more than 200 houses at the instance of the two organisations in Lagos, THE WITNESSreports.

THE WITNESS reliably learnt that trouble started when Skye Bank was discreetly sold a large expanse of land allegedly belonging to about 55 families by four of the families in Abule Parapo Phase 2, Awoyaya area of Ibeju Lekki.

It was further gathered that after winning the land dispute case from initial land grabbers, another set of family unit had three years earlier sold some plots located behind the famous Greenspring International School for the sum of N1.5 million each to the occupants who are now homeless after the destruction which gave them no chance to salvage their belongings.

Unknown to these family units, the four family units had also obtained a court judgment behind the scene and went ahead to sell the entire 200.184 hectares of land plus the court judgment to Skye Bank and Skye Trustees Limited which rushed to the Lagos State government through high-powered officers for the authentication of the lands in their company name.

Skye Bank, THE WITNESS learnt, reached out to the lawyers of the property owners to come over for ratification and demanded that they should pay sums of money ranging between N4 million and N8 million for the ratification of each of the plots in contention.

The property owners had suggested further negotiation and had reached a compromise with the bank, but Skye Bank allegedly went ahead with the demolition of the properties with the backing of about 300 armed operatives from various security outfits that harassed the residents and seized their belongings including phones and cameras.

The Skye Bank-ordered demolition has thrown the residents of the area into a state of distress and agony as majority of them now take refuge in uncompleted buildings outside of the community. Others have resorted to talking solace under the bridges around the area while some have moved in with their relations as squatters pending when luck will smile at them to acquire new accommodations.

Affected residents, most of who are customers of the Skye Bank have been counting their post-demolition losses, lamenting the suffering they are forced to go through.

“This pain is too much to bear, and to think that it comes from a bank I hitherto held so dear is worrying to me,” lamented a woman who did not provide her name.

Mr. Wise Iyanla while narrating his ordeal to THE WITNESS correspondent said: “I, my friends, my comrades and my families, we are closing all our accounts in Skye Bank. This is a trying moment but we will win this battle!

“As a young man in the corporate world, I strove harder to do some expensive things. One of the things I did was to strive to build a bungalow here in Ibeju Lekki axis (Awoyaya) and my land was properly acquired from the legitimate owners who originally acquired the landed properties from their forefathers as inheritance.

“All of a sudden, just last month here, I was at work when I received a WhatsApp message from a co-landlord, informing me that our properties built with our hard-earned sweat were being demolished by Skye Bank and their agent, Lekki Gardens Estate Limited with a battalion of security personnel to protect their heinous action.

“What can I say as a young father and hustler? I said to my co-landlord, man can never be hurt. What took us years to stand, as struggling young Nigerians, were demolished in minutes.

“The most painful aspect of the story is the fact that our buildings were demolished in error because there was no court judgment that warranted the destruction of our properties and I doubt that the IG was aware of the illegal police officers outing during the criminal and malicious destruction of our properties and now that it is established, 10 billion for the accounts is feasible.”

Another affected resident, a 64-year-old widow and retired civil servant, Mrs. Oyekunle Azeez, said ever since the incident, she has been living in a church and her blood pressure had risen. “In tears, the elderly woman said: I laboured so hard before I retired to build this house, how have I offended the bank and their directors? This was all I had. Why do they want to send me to an early grave?” Mrs. Azeez lamented.

The lawyers representing Glorious Villa Community Development Association, Reagan Nzeteh & Co. has written Lekki Gardens demanding the sum of N10 billion from Skye Bank plc and Skye Trustees Ltd for what it called trespass to land, willful/criminal/malicious damage of its client’s properties and illegal demolition of the properties in Abule Parapo Phase 2 by the two organisations. They have also threatened to sue the trio if the money is not paid within a stipulated period of time.

In the same vein, the inspector general of police has been petitioned regarding the illegal use of over 300 police officers in the operation.

Efforts by our reporter to reach the management of Skye Bank and Skye Trustees for their angle to the development proved futile as enquiries sent to the bank were not responded to as at press time.

SALLAH MESSAGE FROM SENATOR DINO MELAYE: LET'S PRAY FOR NIGERIA

I, Senator Dino Melaye felicitates with the Muslim Ummah nationwide and Kogi State in particular on the occasion of the 2018 Eid-el-Kabir festival today.

It is no doubt that it's a special occasion, which teaches the virtues of obedience and sacrifice as it reminds us the story of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), who sacrificed his son to show obedience to God's command.

We should continue to sacrifice for the development of this country in any position we find ourselves so that we can leave a better and greater Nigeria behind for the generations unborn.

I therefore urge all Nigerians irrespective of religious differences to embrace peace and promote peaceful coexistence in their day-to-day living and among one another.

At this juncture, let's continue to pray for our dear nation - Nigeria - particularly for the peaceful conduct of the 2019 general elections and total restoration of peace to troubled parts of the country.

Barka Da Sallah!

The building, named “Music House”, was marked for demolition because some part of it were not approved.

The demolition notice was posted on the structure located along Ibadan-Lagos expressway on Monday on the order of the Oyo State Government.

The notice, according to David Ajiboye, its Director of Corporate Affairs and Promotions, gave the owner of the building three days to vacate the building and remove the structure or risk its removal by the government.

The deadline, it was learnt expired on Wednesday, 15th August 2018.

Ajiboye, who confirmed the development on his Facebook page on Tuesday, added that the demolition notice was issued because “The staff canteen in the premises was not approved”.

The post read further, “The spiral staircase was not in the approved plan. The mast was not in the approved plan.

“The fence was not in the approved plan.

“And therefore the entire N800 million edifice where almost 150 people make their daily bread have to go down. You are all invited to the demolition show at the Music House tomorrow”.

'The hand of God is on Saraki' - Prophet Omotosho makes shocking revelation.

While in the heat of the 2019 general elections saga where lot of politicians have defected to different parties, the oracle of God, Apostle Omotosho Tope Joseph of OTJ ministries has spoken God's mind about the senate President, Bukola Saraki especially at this time where he is in the centre of the political crisis rocking the nation.

The prophet who runs OTJ Live in a chat with us today reeled out fresh prophecies according to the leading of God. Here are the predictions :

'The hand of God is on Saraki' - Prophet Omotosho makes shocking revelation.

While in the heat of the 2019 general elections saga where lot of politicians have defected to different parties, the oracle of God, Apostle Omotosho Tope Joseph of OTJ ministries has spoken God's mind about the senate President, Bukola Saraki especially at this time where he is in the centre of the political crisis rocking the nation.

The prophet who runs OTJ Live in a chat with us today reeled out fresh prophecies according to the leading of God. Here are the predictions :

1- I see 2019 election won't be a do or die affair as speculated. Three powerful nations will help Nigeria during the election to calm things down. I also see circulation of money during the election.

Romance / Don't Ask Me Out, I Can't Love Again By Taiwo Adenike Adeola by femioyewale: 11:50pm On Aug 15, 2018
*Don't ask me out, I can't love again*

I have been wrapped in the comfort of a womb that carried me
The metronome of my heartbeat beats the drum that I hope the world we dance to
Until tears pierced my blind eye to see the reality of the world outside her womb
The stench of deceit was all over the hand that carried me......
I searched for love in his eyes, but I found none...
I know there was little like a ray of light in a deep hole, but it was covered, covered by his impatience, cos he couldn't wait to leave me, to abandon me and never to look back.

Then life began to unfold itself like a long nightmare
Life was supposed to be bright, but my corner of it was dark like theoretical mass
I realized, I realized that life was fifty shades of darkness
And my own private world was fifty shades darker.

Daddy! Daddy! I hear other children call..
I hear them call out, and it was like a song
A beautiful piece of music to my hears
A beautiful piece of music, accompanied by a masculine instrumental voice answering "daughter"
Oh I wish someone will call me daughter
I wished my daddy carries me and throw me in the air..
I wished he would catch me in midair and envelope me in a warm embrace
Oh I wished, he was there, he was there to sing Jingle over like a motor to me..
But wishes were not horses... So I could only hope to fly

I felt lonely, mum was never enough, though she tried to be..
My already dark world became darker like abyss
There was no dad's love to light it up

I remember, I remember countless nights, countless cold nights I wept on my flat 2/4 bed
I felt rejected, I felt lonely
I felt lone like a lost lamb in a thick forest
I was scared, scared of all the bullies around, those wicked big bad wolf..
They knew no one would come to my rescue
They know I don't have a dad, a dad that will scare them like an angry Shepherd would scare would scare a wolf from his lamb..
They knew I was a poor little child..
Daughter of the poor woman..
Poor young woman, famous for owing debt in every provision store.
So they never stopped bullying me..
Echoes of their wicked laughter followed me like shadow even to dream land.

Mum tried, but she was not just enough...
I needed dad so badly... For 14 years, I hoped and pray
My heart was used to the rhythms of the wall clock...
It was used to the tick-tock sound..
I checked the time every now and then..
Believing, believing my dad would appear suddenly like a thief in the night..
I kept hoping.. Kept praying... I kept praying for that the dad that would never come..

Many times, many times we slept on empty stomach..
We kept repeating the routine of the last super every night..
We lived like that poor woman, that poor Zarephat widow in the bible..
Who had no hope for the future..

Then gradually.... Gradually I gave up on my dad..
It was obvious he was not going to come..
That little girl of 14 years dissapered to the past..
That little girl who longed for her dad's embrace was gone..

I gave up.. Gave into the fire.. My dreams and high hopes
I know... I know I should have fought
I should have fought the dark shadow hovering over me...

But realization... Realization struck me like lightning
He was never going to come... Not now.. Not ever..
He was never going to come to a child he considered bad lock..
Bad lock born out of wedlock..

I felt like a failure.. as if I have failed life greated examination
14 years ago seem like yesterday before my eyes..
Just yesterday when love so bright.. So bright like sun flower danced in my eyes..

But now... Now I've grown into a woman..
I tried not to remember my dad again.. I tried hard to forget him..
But my height, face, and skin color reminds so much of him.. To my dismay...
But the love I had for him has withered..
That beauty sun flower of yesterday has shrunken...
Shrunken cos of lack of sunlight...
It stopped.. It stopped growing, photosynthesis could not take place..
How could it when my father was the photosynthesis.. the photosynthesis my love life needed to grow..
But he abandoned me.. Abandoned me in the darkest corner of the world..
And now, now.. I've given up hope..
I've thrown my hope my dream down the drain

Now, now I know I don't deserve nothing..
Nothing, cos I am a child born out of the wedlock..
So don't even try to pity me, it's the last thing I want.

Every night, every night I lie in bed
I lie I'm bed, but I can't sleep...
On the ledge but I can't leap

I have words on my tongues, but I can't speak.. My tongue is glued to my mouth
My lips are sealed
Though I've grown.. But that little girl, that poor little girl of yesterday..
That little girl who craved for attention was still in me...

I tried to live happy like others..
But I was not conceived like others..
I was not conceived and born like others...
I was a child born out of wedlock..
A mistake.. A great mistake..

I tried so hard..so hard to keep the fire of love burning..
But it's like taking a step forward and four steps backward..

It kept going down.. Like a melting candle..
And now the light is off..
I tried to love twice.. My father and the other
The other that I risked a lot for..
But I failed... I failed terribly twice
There should be a medal for failures..

Now, I've returned to that dreaded zone..
A place of incarceration... A theoretical mass..
The darkest, deepest part of the dark sea..

I'm drowning... Drowning in this sea of hatred..
I have exhausted my anger... It has run run out of me like water down a drain..
I'm choking...choking with fear, regret, pain, tears,
Tears and the constant fear on my mother's face..
I tried gasping for air, but the black sea kept dragging me back..
I flapped my hands in the water like a dying butterfly..
I tried...tried raising my head..
Tried raising my head..maybe someone would see me..
Maybe a good Samaritan would save me...
Part of me wants to be saved, the other rejects help..

To me it's finished like Jesus said on the cross..
But save me...save me if you can.

Religion / Watch What Prophet Joshua Iginla Prophesied About Buhari, Defection Saga In 201 by femioyewale: 1:27pm On Aug 14, 2018
Watch What Prophet Joshua Iginla prophesied About Buhari, Defection Saga in 2017,2018

Interestingly, one of the major prophecies of popular Abuja based Prophet, Bro. Joshua Iginla for 2018 has been confirmed. The internationally acclaimed prophet predicted thrice about the gales of defections rocking the major Political party in Nigeria, APC.

The clergy who is noted for his prophetic prowess and confirmation was on record to have been the first person to accurately warned him about the crises rocking his government.

On the 2nd of April, 2017 during a live service at champions Royal Assembly in Abuja, God's servant while speaking prophetically about the political events that will unfold in 2018, he said we should pray for our country that a lot of political drama would unfold in the month of May, June, July and August.

Secondly, on the 7th of January, 2018 he specifically revealed that there will be massive defection from the ruling party and that alot of people will leave the president.

"In my vision, I saw his Excellency our great president in a big boat surrounded by men. They were sailing with him and when they got to the middle of the sea in this vision, there was a big temptest and the ship was shaking and I saw those around him who are supposed to help him put on life jacket and left him".

"God said I should say to him, there are so many judases , betrayals and snakes around him. , They want him to fail, and they are already planning for him to sink.
if you will ask what the mind of God is, please, leave 2019 for another person.
God has used his Excellency to do wonderful things in the country. He has fought corruption than anyone has done. He has fulfilled his agenda. if you ask me Mr President....the judases around you cannot make you to fulfil the remaining mandate. They will leave you In the midst of this boat, whether you don’t believe me, this is the mind of God.
How do you survive when you have so many judases , you have so many snakes. I’m not a politician, I’m a messenger of God, what I see is what I will say’’.

Again on the 9th of April 2018 while ministering live, the Man of God explained clearly the political drama that will unfold in APC.

He said the ship of of the Ruling party will soon Rock and that it will rock very high. He stated categorically that will rock until it becomes scanty and that attempt at reconciliation will not be effective.

Furthermore, he predicted that the main arrow head who is like a political icon in the party will step aside and decamp with several followers joining him. He warned that they should not despise him else he will set everything on fire..

And true to his word, APC is currently swimming in series of crises as many top politicians are abandoning the President's boat (APC) by defecting to other parties . The major one is the mass defection in the Senate, House of Assembly and some governors amongst whom are the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Gov. Samuel Ortom of Benue, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto and Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara state.

Religion / Prophet TB Joshua's Dream About 2019 General Elections by femioyewale: 12:01pm On Aug 09, 2018
Nigeria’s 2019 general election: Listening to Prophet TB Joshua

"I have a message for my country and I want you to pray with me. After the message, you join me in prayers. This is the third time I am having this message. Now I am going to say it the third time. The president’s heart is like a stream of water in the hands of God. The leader’s heart is like a stream of water in the hands of God and He can control it wherever He wants. The first time I had the dream, I prayed, I fasted on my own. The second time I had the dream, I also prayed and fasted. But this time, you must join me in prayer because two believers are better than one. Since I got the message that our future is in the valley, I kept to myself. I should not go beyond God; I should go before Him.

The Lord said to me that I should tell the nation and the leaders to pray against the interruption of democratic practice. You have to join me in prayer. The Lord gave me what to pray about because in this case, there must be prayers given to you. What are the prayers? Number one is that the Lord will give our leaders greater understanding of God’s heart. Number two is that the Lord should give them the understanding and discretion to guide their hearts. Number three is to give them understanding that will protect them and wisdom that will rescue them.” When Prophet T.B. Joshua, senior cleric of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), with headquarters in Lagos, gave the above sobering message to a large gathering of Christian faithful during one of the denomination’s recent Sunday Service, the congregation not only stood up in prayers for Nigeria but decided to share the warning given by the prophet on various social platforms. The goings-on within the country’s existence have drawn both local and international concerns considering the immense presence that Nigeria commands both in Africa and in the larger comity of nations.

Nigeria’s road to the 2019 general election has been a potpourri of inanities. The disturbing trend signals a most trying period for the democratic experiment which Nigeria currently undertakes. It was therefore a sobering moment when Prophet Joshua devoted few minutes during one of the Sunday services to speak God’s mind concerning Nigeria. Knowing God’s mind is in itself a blessing; however, it is more blessed to obey what He says. It therefore should be counted divine benevolence when a nation has a prophet that knows God and speaks His mind.

The various saddening trends within our nation’s polity: insurrections, killings, kidnappings, hate, among others, continue to cast a negative shadow on our existence. It is therefore only right to join Prophet TB Joshua as he prayed saying: “…the Lord will give our leaders greater understanding of God’s heart. …The Lord should give them the understanding and discretion to guide their hearts. The Lord will give them understanding that will protect them and wisdom that will rescue them.” God appreciates the place of good leadership; it was therefore not surprising when the Almighty God directed His servant to pray for the leadership of Nigeria. Once the leadership is right, the nation will be put on the right path. Good governance requires the fear of God and it is righteousness that guarantees the growth and wellbeing of any country.

As we match towards another election year, we must heed, collectively, to the voice of God and ensure that we do his bidding. We cannot again slide into another civil war as this would rubbish the progress we have recorded so far. These are not ordinary times and they are indeed moments when all hands must be on deck to salvage our nation from descending into anarchy that may result from a failed election year. The 2019 general election should be seen as a rallying moment to improve negotiations for the betterment of Nigeria. Any interruption with our current democratic experience will not be in the interest of Nigeria, its citizens and the larger global community. Africa has a lot to gain should Nigeria’s democracy get strengthened. Conversely, Africa’s losses would be gargantuan should Nigeria slide into a lawless state.
The unique sense of camaraderie comes to fore when the globally respected Prophet Joshua identifies with Nigeria as his own. He started by saying “I have a message for my country and I want you to pray with me.” This should be a lesson to all that irrespective of the current state of Nigeria, we owe the nation allegiance never to give up on the wellbeing of its existence. Obviously, by the public distil of the prophecy from Prophet Joshua, God is interested in the welfare of the nations. We are the works of His hands; He made us and therefore owns us. It is therefore incumbent on our leaders to heed the voice of God’s oracles to seek divine intervention so that our democracy improves and remains in perpetuity.

As citizens, we are bound by conscience, morality and the law to seek the welfare of our country. Developed countries of the world had their teething problems which later gave way to strings of development. We are passing through ours and with God on our side things would only get better. Yet, we must heed the call by God’s servant which says that both leaders and followers must pray against interruption of democratic practice in Nigeria. This is important and doable

Business / Businessman Abayomi Bello Soaring Profile by femioyewale: 12:12am On Aug 05, 2018
Businessman Abayomi Bello Soaring profile

Man of the moment and one of the shinning lights of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency in Kogi State, Abayomi Bello might be walking his way to historic reckoning going by the excitement and overwhelming support his House of Representatives aspirations has generated across the nook and crannies of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency in Kogi West. The reason for the optimistic atmosphere in the federal constituency is not far-fetched. There's a glimmer of hope in their neighbourhood and the people can feel the ray of sunshine in the 3-points agenda of Wealth Creation, Empowerment and Real Development Abayomi Bello thoroughly crafted to address the plethora of challenges restraining the developmental growth of Kogi West. Abayomi, who is the Managing Director of a flourishing group of companies called Sologic group, has scored many firsts in his line of business. He has single-handedly moulded his company into one of the most sought-after in this part of the world. His success story in the private sector has ignited the hope of a better tomorrow for the people of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu constituency who are clamouring for a better and more effective representation at the House of Representatives come 2019.

Abayomi, who flaunts an impressive educational credential, is one of the biggest investors in Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu constituency. And long before his foray into politics, he has been an active presence in the economic development of his beloved community. Through his thriving Sologic group, the extremely humble man of style has invested millions of dollars in key sectors of the economy like Agriculture, Printing, Hospitality, Entertainment and others. His investments in Kogi West has created jobs for tens of thousands of indigenes and not only that, but the local economy is on the rise again courtesy of his business interventions. Abayomi, who can best described as a professional in politics has raised the bar in the history of electioneering campaign in Kogi. The young man of honour has introduced a modern participatory campaign strategy - everyone irrespective of their social status is being carried along in the 3-points agenda to improve on the representation of His constituency. Gone are those where politicians just use money to buy votes without giving the people a chance to participate in the political process. For Abayomi, the people must be the major factor in the political process. To demonstrate his commitment to an open campaign where the people can take charge of their destiny. Abayomi Bello has toured all the communities that make up Federal Constituency consulting with the people through personal as well as town hall meetings, where majority of the people and stakeholders were given the opportunity to share their ideas on ways and how to develop their constituency. In deference to the authority in the land, all the Executives in the local government areas were not left out of the consultation.

And as if that's not enough, the leading aspirant in the House of Representatives in Kogi West, Abayomi Bello recently held an empowerment initiative for some women folks including mothers and women leaders in all the wards in Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency. The colourful event which attracted a huge attendance was held at one of His Oil Mills in The Constituency. And it was another occasion for the young politician to intimate the women groups about the significance of the 60TPD capacity Oil Press to the economic development of Region. He also took time to enlighten the women about his proposed micro-credit scheme which is aimed at adding value to the economic status of the people. Also in the continuation of his consultation efforts, he had engaged some youth leaders in his constituency where they all brainstormed on the best approach to actualise the 3-points agenda programme.

The young man of style who is the Managing Director of a flourishing company called Bold Gab Ayomikun Investment Limited has continued to be a blessing to his community. As you read, the unassuming young man has been empowering the people of his community since 2012. His obsession for community service and philanthropy is beyond politics. He can best be described as a loyal party who has been through the storms defending the party and policies of governor Ibikunle Amosun-led administration in the last 7 years. Despite constesting twice under the APC platform without any success or compensation from any quarters, Oyatayo's loyalty and support for governor Ibikunle Amosun has not dwindled. For him, politics should not be about personal gains alone but rather it should be about service to humanity. Most political pundits in Abeokuta South are of the view that Oyatayo is one of the best, if not the best material the constituency can produce for development and prosperity of Abeokuta South Constituency 1 in 2019. They believe given a chance, Oyatayo's emergence would encourage other brilliant young people to join the political train in 2019 and beyond. And with intelligent young people like Oyatayo in the political mix in Ogun state the Mission to Rebuild agenda of governor Ibikunle Amosun is surely on the road to a befitting conclusion.

PROPHECY CONFIRMATION : WATCH PRO. SAMUEL AKINBODUNSE'S SHOCKING PREDICTION ABOUT ZIMBABWEAN ELECTION AND HOW IT CAME TO PASS.

When a true prophet Speaks, the wise listens. Despite initial criticism, Popular clergy and Shepherd in charge of Freedom For All Nations, Prophet Samuel Akinbodunse has been justified as his prophecy over Zimbabwean election came to pass.

Known for his prophetic accuracy, during his visitation to Zimbabwe for Crusade on the 22nd of June, 2018, he shocked the Nation when he predicted that the ruling party will win the election no matter how divided they are.

He stated that the current president will emerge winner.

" I speak the truth and I don't fear any politician. God told me to announce that the ruling party will still win the election. I remember when I predicted that Mugabe will be dethroned in November 2017, many criticised me but when it came to pass they all fizzled out"

Also, during the Sunday live service at his ministry base in South Africa on July 22nd, 2018 he said it categorically that Mnangagwa, would still emerge winner.

He said he saw some people saying he will not get there but the Lord said he will.

And true to his words, Mnangagwa wins the election.

Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa, a former ally of Robert Mugabe, narrowly won the country’s landmark election, results showed early Friday, in an outcome set to fuel fraud allegations as security forces patrolled the streets to prevent protests.

Mnangagwa won 50.8 percent of the vote, ahead of Nelson Chamisa of the opposition MDC party on 44.3 percent, the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) said.

“Mnangagwa, Emmerson Dambudzo, of ZANU-PF party is therefore duly declared elected president of the Republic of Zimbabwe,” announced ZEC chair Priscilla Chigumba.

Mnangagwa won by the smallest of margins, after needing more than 50 percent of the vote to secure victory without a second-round run-off.

He quickly took to Twitter to say he was “humbled” to have won the election, hailing it as a “new beginning” for the country.
