You can call or whatsapp them on either of this numbers: 07057706367/ 092919296
Not everyone have background in Computer Science or the volume of time for study self.

I don't think self study is gonna work considering the limited time and that was why I enrolled myself

I can't help you do anything. You can help yourself. I'm reading on my own so i dont have the number for anyone. Read the threads linked, join the telegram group. Get the books from there. I won't be posting links here.

Please be careful!!! The ONLY BCS approved centre in Nigeria charges for training and materials. Are you sure is their customer service rep you called?

There customer service number is 07011827635 / 092919296 you can also send them a mail on info@compunetlimited.org

This is the only centre in Nigeria that is on BCS WEBSITE.

And BCS recommend them only.

Good eve house, please I contacted BCS approved center here in Nigeria for enquiries as regards the certification exams. The customer care agent told me that I can't register for the exams(75k) without paying 150k for the tutorials and materials they give, including videos and adding me to their WhatsApp group. Please is there anyone with similar experience here?

I actually find it very resourceful even without a background in ICT

toluls:

Hello. I'm also considering registering for BCS. Please what is the total cost for the program? An estimate is also fine. Thank you.

Beyond the materials, you need to be part of the online classes. The recommended textbooks are so bulky. They have videos, audio and other forms of materials.

Omotolani513:
@Femmy2424 @adenikeO can you please share the BCS materials you have with me? My mail is abayomiomotolani@gmail.com.
As regards d whatsapp group, the link shared is not going tru, my number is 08032405263.
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks

You are very right. That was the same amount I paid and I think it really worth.

I am tired of waiting for Provincial Nomination.

I need to boost my CRS point. The additional 37 points this BCS CIT will earn me will make me over qualify sef.

How I wish I have heard about it earlier I for don dey Cannyland by now.

Many people have PMed for their Nigeria Approved Centre contact: You can contact them on info@compunetlimited.org or you call or Whatsapp 07011827635/092919296

Thaiy:

From my enquiry, your price analysis is correct. The 50k is for training cost, that’s 150k for the 3 modules. £40 per examination paper and £37 or there about for registration.

Total cost is 220k+.

Yes!! The courses are more of introductory courses to ICT. I also don't have a background in ICT or Computer Science. My First degree was in History and International Relations.

You will really need the training and support from an approved centre because BCS recommended textbooks are very bulky and intimidating. Like three or more bulky textbooks for each of the courses. However, the approved centre has its own condensed materials (videos, audio, and soft copies). They have a WhatsApp group where they frequently drop materials and answer questions asked.

There is also a weekly Webinar on Saturdays when all students connect live for classes. I like the fact that the TRAINING IS ONLINE YOU DON'T HAVE TO TRAVE TO DOWN TO JOS, PLATEAU STATE, NIGERIA.

I may not be able to answer all the questions here, please kindly contact them for more info

I have just discovered how to boost CRS point with additional 34points through additional 2 years diploma in THREE MONTHS. The British Computer Society Certificate in Information Technology (CIT) is recognized by WES and Evaluated as an Equivalent of two years diploma in Canada. I know of someone who has used it. The pass mark is 40%. The CIT has only three courses which are introductory courses to Computer and Network. They have an approved training centre here in Nigeria, although is located in Jos, Plateau State, they have a very robust online training platform for distance learning students. I know of about 12 of us based in Lagos that are currently taking the training, they gave us all the recommended textbooks, training materials, pass questions and answers, there is a WhatsApp group where we all discuss and we have access to some of their instructors.

You can get their details on BSC website or you just type BCS approved training in Nigeria on google to get their details.

Yes!!! I know of someone who wrote the BCS Certificate in Information Technology and WES recognized it and evaluated it as an equivalent of two years Diploma in Canada. They have an approved training centre in Jos and the centre has a very robust online platform for distance students. You can get their details from the BCS website.

Nitrobenzene:
DoWES consider BCS 1 as additional certificate?

They have an approved centre in Nigeria located in Jos and the approved centre has a very robust online training platform for distance learning students. They help with all the necessary materials, condensed training materials, and Q&A. They also handle your registrations for you. You can get their details from BCS or just type BCS APPROVED CENTRE IN NIGERIA on google.

Nitrobenzene:
Please who is preparing for BCS here. I want to Register but only see one centre in Jos. Does that mean no other place to write the exams in Nigeria.

What about those preparing to writing CIMA?
