The Lagos State Police Command today September 18, inaugurated a 13-man committee to unravel the immediate and remote causes of the death of singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad, who died last Tuesday, September 12, in controversial circumstances.

While speaking to newsmen at the launch of the panel, the state Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, flanked by Mohbad’s family members, called on the general public to volunteer information to aid in the investigation.

He said all facts including videos will be used during the investigation and that the investigation will not be narrowed to specific names. He said the command will pick on whoever the investigation deems fit. He also added that the command can pick up anyone wherever they are in the world.

‘’Wherever you are in this world, do not forget that we have access to Interpol.'' he said

The police boss added that everyone linked to the unfortunate incident will be identified and brought in.

The panel is expected to give their report within two weeks.

This una fictitious"Bini Empire" where did it start and where did it stop? Your fictitious Bini Empire couldn't even conquer Agbor kingdom that is next door to it. I am going to tell you a history Bini have almost whitewashed from existence. There was a time in the back and forth tussle with Agbor kingdom that Agbor invaded and occupied Bini kingdom for a few years. In other words, Agbor defeated Bini in battle. Ask any elderly or cultural Bini, he will know that history. I read about it when I schooled there.

right bro, the only thing that brought Edo and Yoruba together was the kingship interchange between oromiyan or oduduwa and Edo people. Yoruba was already an established State before the wanderer prince from Benin arrived.

The Bini was never in partnership with the Itsekiris, rather Itsekiris was the Bini Subject (slaves) just as the igbos. Reno is trying to paint his people as a potential rulers along side the Binis, which was not so. Benin empire conquer all region in the South-south and south-southwest.

LordReed:

No, you cannot be transferred from a State level agency to a Federal level agency however you can have your service commuted from State to Federal, in which case you will take a lower grade level from your previous State grade level.

FCT is not a State, all it activities is control by Federal government. That's why they don't have governor or governorship election, rather the president appoint someone as a minister of FCT

white man goes to the bank to borrow money for his personal development through mortgage loan he pays back in 30 years, student loan for tuition in the best University, Car loan for a new car which he pays for in five years and sell the Tokunbo to Africans while getting another new one, Oyinbo government borrow 100% of their GDP to fix infrastructure and everyone pays back through tax

Black man goes to the bank to deposit and save his own money while banks get richer charging for saving with them (ATM fees, stamp duty, transfer fees), instead of getting a loan to develop, he sees loan as gbese, or haram

.

you should know that there is no loan or mortgage system functioning in Nigeria like the one in US or Europe. it was never our wish to buy everything in cash at hand but the system was never created for Nigerians to access credit facilities.

I really have no problem per se with the business owner claiming to be CEO but he/she should be ready to act the part.

It you want to be prancing around the place claiming CEO of a start-up then make sure you can take the initiative and you have real life problem solving skills...

As CEO the buck stops on your table...if there is a problem you do your best to fix it instead of just waiting for the investor to come tell you how to solve problems in a business you started

As CEO you should be the chief risk taker as far as that business is concerned, don't be dodging risks while trying to hang everything on the investor so that if the business fails you can get off with minimal losses

As CEO you must come up with strategies to grow the company business and revenue base

As CEO you should know that you're the captain of the ship and should be ready to do whatever is necessary to prevent the ship from sinking

As CEO you need to be sincere with investors and act with integrity at all times and not try to cheat your investors by diverting resources of the company to personal use

As CEO be very sure you understand the business cycle including its peak and slow periods during the year so that you can do proper planning and budgeting thereby improving on the ability of the business to succeed; don't expect to fly 'blind' then later you start praying for a miracle to happen after you have unduly put investors funds at risk.

The fact is that a lot of you people setting up start-ups are ill prepared for the task; you think just because you have what seems like a great idea once you start up a company money will start rushing in without any other conscious effort on your part

You don't teach people how to become a CEO it's a long time process of learning, failing and relearning. nobody taught mark Zuckerberg how he became a CEO, he took up the responsibility. over time we Africans only take about success story but behind 10 successful people or businesses there are hundreds of failures which we don't talk about.

@NairalandAngel you talk down young people as if it's a crime to build a startup company or have a business ideas. there should be more reasonable encouragement From you than backlashing these young guys. they won't seek your attention if they can fund their business all alone and lastly if a business is already doing well financially after 24 months of establishment, I don't need Angel investor anymore my focus will be Venture Capital investment.

Opay didn’t fail as a company, they are still in business, they only had one of their start up truncated by factors beyond their control (Gov policy), which I also suspect is not the cause in your own case. Remember they started with transportation then expanded into other sectors including finance. That is a form of scaling. You have to scale to retain your relevance.

you talk about scaling as if you are going to scale with toilet papers, Opay got $50 million investment and so many international network. so don't compare one guy in Nigeria with self investment fund. there are hundreds of reasons start-ups fail but the lesson is much important.
90% of start-ups failed anywhere in the world.

Most people who claim they want to start a business have absolutely no clue about the sacrifices you need to make in order for the business to succeed.

They just want to start a business so they can brag that they are CEO of XYZ Company.

How can someone start a business and be dodging putting his/her own money in the business but will be expecting an investor to come and carry the whole risk 100% then immediately there is a challenge in the business he/she will abandon ship cos he has nothing at stake?!

I still invest in new businesses but you must prove to me that you know what you're doing and I must see evidence that the business is actually generating revenue and has been doing so for at least 36 months at the minimum, anything other than that I will not stake my funds in the business.

you are saying nonsense, let me tell you key reasons why we build start-ups.
1. Income Potential
2. Pursuing a Passion
3. A Good Idea
4. New Lifestyle
5. Self-Expression.
so are you going to tell Dangote not to claim the glory and chairmanship of his company because you invest in his idea?
come on Sir, people invested in Facebook without getting any profit in 7 years. that never stops Mark Zuckerberg claiming CEO of Facebook group.

Don’t be too quick to judge (that someone knows nothing). This is a faceless forum and I just ‘assumed’ what your problem was, I didn’t state for a fact.

BTW; I have a startup in its 4th year and it’s growing just fine, thanks to proper scaling. I don’t think you can go wrong with scaling, a business must scale to survive. First, understand the true meaning of scaling.

in the startup world failure is inevitable, but not every failure will end the business. if you are not ready to fail then you can't be an entrepreneur. Opay failed too which is not any of their fault, life happens and we learn.

@NairalandAngel, you are just bragging, you know nothing about Angel Investment... the last thing I will do is to let anyone claiming investor here in Nigeria into my business ( they are the worst set of people) with the quick return syndrome mentality.

to the entrepreneurs in the house please work hard, start all by yourself get co-founder, put in all your efforts if you fail you fail, if you succeed glory be to God.
my start up failed last year after 2 years of investment I learnt a lot from the failure. I'm happy because I fund it with my money and with the help of my co-founder.

And lastly people don't invest in ideas they only invest in business.
