Irony is when people reselling Amazon Gift cards for 250/$ of which they obtained for 120/$, still come here to bash another person sending funds from a dead woman's account. All na scam, but some of them will try to justify it by saying oh it's not true some people sell Amazon gift card given to them as gifts and they don't need it anymore blah blah blah. Flat out lies, they have reputable online services that buy gift cards for 85% of its actual value ex giftcardgranny.com. Some of them have even turned it into big business, they use fradulently obtained gift cards to buy goods for others and to pose like importers for their family. Yet, na them dey bash Yahoo boys.

Most gift cards sold here are used by drug dealers and hackers to move illegal funds, whether it's bought with cash or card. Someone stealing from dead people is probably even better than hackers using stolen credit card details to buy gift cards because that's an extra burden for the victim. They may not even know someone is stealing from them, and although most banks will refund the victims when alarm is raised, some banks will not.

Everything about currency exchange is either illegal or against the rules. Most of you are running a bureau de change without license or approval from the CBN. If you like twist it anyhow you like, that's the fact. Even the ones in Yankee, you can be charged for money laundering and tax evasion because you are not a registered money service business. Funny enough, buying or selling of Bitcoin is even against Seun's rules, it is actually prohibited!

So if you like sit there and think you are holier than another person, everyone involved in some form of exchange is breaking the law, encouraging human trafficking, drug trade, funding terrorism, and tax evasion. Justify it however you want, fact is fact.

We will see how this new twist plays out

Interesting..

And you pay 2 naira per word?

Alright.
and?
Do most writers (Nigerian) deserve to be paid 3Na word? Except some very few.
I'm not taking anything from anybody, but it amazes me how anybody can jump up from his bed and suddenly claim to be a writer. You give them jobs ⚚, they perform below expectations, you don't pay, sometimes you do, and when you don't, you're tagged a scammer.

Hello all and sundry.
I have been bashed here by a lot of people. And I never cared a bit because I had/still have a clear mind.
Thank nature, I've successfully sprang my life up with few invaluable tips and advice here from sympathetic folks.
Now I implore on everyone I've had business dealings with that turned sour to kindly send me a message, and we'll rectify things out!!
A client just sent me a 1000$ and that'll be more than enough to clear my name.
So ladies and gentlemen, shall we?

So, to add my little unsolicited opinion to the discourse...
First off, Fidel should without further delay pay up his writers.
And writers... look before you leap. Understand that the nature of our work put us at the recieving end (kind of) and leaves us with little to no recourse.
Few tips:
* Go easy with work with crazy deadlines
* Do some background check. If the moniker of the person posting the job is only a few days, months old - cricket number one. Now, copy that moniker and type this search string "is [insert the job poster profile name] a scammer + nairaland" into Google. If at the very least you found people discussing or insinuating that the job poster has multiple accounts... there you have it.
* One work, one pay - don't ever work in batches (or at least until trust has been built). If you turnaround and your hirer tries to hoodwink you into doing another work without paying for the first saying that it's only on this basis you can get your pay, decline, thank him/her, and move on. Also, never agree to be paid at the end of the month!
* Though unrelated - but if you can show your hirer live samples of your work and they still insisted on a "test article" - that test article should be paid for, especially if it's above hundred words.
i am just seeing this now.
Finally a sensible human being.
While he was writing the project I appointed him to do, my account for suspended by Upwork, but I stills told him to continue, as I had plans of paying him with another account proceeds. In short I don’t want to talk about anything here, but that genstejaay of a fellow is an uncouth and very abusing retard. He resorted to using all sort of vile names on me when I explained throngs to him. After coming here on nairaland to defame me, the guy still had the temerity to inbox me asking for his money. I was cool with that, and told him to wait till me funds clear the compulsory five days upwork security hold on payments. I even sent him a screenshot to that effect, but he resorted to abuses and his foul languages.
I was fed up with his stupidity and told him when I had his money I’ll send him. I blocked him and that’s that. When I’m ready with his money he’ll get it, as for now I don’t have his time

I just knew there would be goals in this game considering how Japan is attacking minded and the attacking stars at Belgium's disposal. I played over 2.5 goals and staked what I can always afford to loose. I only do single bets and stake relatively big.

Stay disciplined and never use house rent to play! Its all part of entertainment.

I'm a troubled young man with dreams and aspirations,
but I think I'll find peace and serenity if I'm motionless...
@ everybody I'm owing,I'll reimburse most certainly, and maybe a little more than what I'm owing...
Then maybe just maybe, I may find peace in any way I choose to.
Thanks

Like I said, I will show the face of the thief.
Meet the almighty Fidelmalek who takes pleasure in scamming.
He placed an ad for writers on this forum. And I made my interest in writing for him known. He dropped the guidelines and I delivered. But he has not paid since then. Perhaps he is too busy. I advise nairalanders to tread with caution whenever FidelMalek or any of his other monikers is ready to hunt!
Dear Fidelmalek, I challenge you to refute these allegations.
