Mario1989:
THESE ARE TIPS ON HOW TO REMAIN POOR IN LIFE

1. Never wake up early. Keep stretching and turning in bed until you get too hungry to continue dozing. If there are no bed bugs, why hurry to get up?

2. Never plan how to spend your money. Whenever you get money, start spending it right away and when it's finished, you try to count and recall how you spent it.

3. Don't think of saving until you have real big money. How can you save when you earn so little? Those telling you to save are not sympathetic to your burning needs.

4. Don't engage in activities usually reserved for the "uneducated". How can you, a graduate, engage in petty trade, network marketing or home-based production? That's for people who never went to school!

5. Don't think of starting a business until an angel comes from heaven and gives you capital. How do they expect you to invest before you get millions? Even though more than half the businesses in your town were started with little capital, you as a smart person can only start with millions.

6. Complain about everything except your own attitude and laziness. Blame the system, the government and the banks that refused to lend you money. They are all bad and do not want you to get rich.

7. Spend more than you earn. To achieve this, buy consumer products on credit and keep borrowing from friends and employers.

8. Compete in dressing. Make sure you're wearing the latest clothes. Intimidate the congregation with your trendy fashions every day. Whenever your neighbor buys a new phone, you get one that is more expensive.

9. Get yourself a nice second hand car that costs more than three times your yearly salary.

10. Give your children everything they ask for since you're such a loving parent. They should not struggle for anything because you do not want them to suffer that way, they will grow up lazy and hence poor enough to ensure they can't help you at old age.

11. Devote your time, energy and resources to watching football especially EPL, UCL and La Liga. Keep up with all matches, fixtures and transfers. Ensure you adequately argue your points among friends for hours after each game. After all, one day Messi and Ronaldo will remember you and send you some percentages of their income.

12. Stay on Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp and Instagram all day to post, comment or watch videos. Engage in discussions that add no value to your life just to be seen that you are current and up-to-date. Be hopeful that one day a benevolent spirit will come down to bless you.

FIGHT ALL THESE AND YOU WILL STEP OUT OF POVERTY!!!

Politics / Re: Military Officers, 3 Firms Temporary Forfeit N200million To FG by flexy7(m): 8:51am On Jul 12, 2018
Bilaludeen:

Justice Sule Hassan, sitting at a Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday, has ordered the interim forfeiture to the Federal Government, the sum of N200 million warehoused in some commercial banks by two military officers and their three companies pending the outcome of investigation on the money.

According to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the money was fraudulently withdrawn from the Defence Headquarters Over-head expenses accounts by the two officers and their companies.

The two military officers are: Adamu Bello Argungu and John Onimisi Ozigi, while their companies are: Falsal & Co Global Services Nigeria Limited; Diamond Head Ventures & Development Company Limited; and Sweetex Bureau De Change Limited.

The judge who presided over the court, ordered that the said sum be forfeited, in the interim, to the Federal government of Nigeria, pending the conclusion of investigation, after listening to the submissions of Mr. Nkereuwem Mark Anana, the EFCC counsel, who moved an exparte application for the order.

In urging the court, the EFCC attached with the exparte application marked FHC/L/CS/1094/18, an 18-paragraph affidavit, two exhibits and a written address.

The EFCC in an affidavit deposed to by one of its operative, Clever Ibrahim, averred that the two military officers, Adamu Bello Argungu and John Onimisi Ozigi are of the Nigerian Army and Air Force respectively, who made several unauthorized withdrawals from the Defence Headquarters Overhead Expenses Account.

The deponent also stated that the money was deposited not in their salary accounts, nor the accounts belonging to the Defence headquarters, but in corporate accounts and other accounts belonging to their companies.

He further stated that the accounts where the said money was warehoused are domiciled in Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) account number 0142893798; 0229980366; 0023038546; 0023038553; 00223038539; 0052260716 and 0023673121, belonging to Adamu Bello Argungu and Falsal & Co Gloval Services Limited while Skye Bank Plc with account numbers: 1060118510 and 4010007344 belonged to John Onimisi Ozigi and his company, Diamond Head Ventures & Development Limited.

He also stated that parts of the money was kept in First City Monument Bank (FCMB) account numbers 3584478019 and 3584478026 belonging to Sweetex Bureau De Change Limited while Zenith Bank Plc account with 1010260044, 1010399694 and 1000468142 belonging to Diamond Head Ventures.

Furthermore, the deponent stated that John Onimisi Ozigi and his company, Diamond Head Ventures & Development Company Limited and kept parts of their money in Skye Bank Plc's account numbers: 1060118510 and 4010007344 respectively.

He stated that though, a post-no-debit have been placed on the accounts by the provision of section 6(5) of the Money Laundering and Prohibition Act, 2011, which had lapsed after 72 hours, and that the order of the interim forfeiture was sought to debar the respondents from tampering with the money.
