The Ashinaga Africa Initiative is open for the orphan applicants of Sub-Saharan Africa. Ashinaga scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, travel costs, and other necessary fees.

The aim of the scholarship is contributing to Sub-Saharan Africa’s long-term development by empowering a generation of future leaders.

Ashinaga is a Japan-based non-profit organization, which provides educational and emotional support to orphaned students. The organization has supported over 100,000 orphans in the last 54 years, and many of its graduates are actively contributing to society in a variety of fields across the world.

Scholarship Description:

Application deadline: February 25, 2018
Course Level: The scholarship is available to pursue an undergraduate degree.
Study Subject: The scholarship is awarded in the fields offered by the university.
Scholarship Award: Full financial support to study at the university abroad (equivalent to the undergraduate degree), including tuition, room, travel cost and other necessary fees.

Following Bobrisky’s arrest, fans have come out to defend the cross-dresser as they start a #Freebobrisky campaign on social media.
According to an initial report, it was said his arrest was in connection with a quarel he had with entrepreneur, Toyin Lawani.
But according to new findings, it might just be because of his recent ‘coming out of the closet’ post.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Bobrisky came out as gay, a criminal offense which has a 14-year jail term in Lagos State.
Nigerians have since been met this news with mixed reactions on social media. Some are for, some are against.
She wrote;
“I don’t understand how people are celebrating because Bobrisky got arrested! The man said he is GAY! and so f**king what, don’t you have way more important things to do! What did he ever do to y’all, but to entertain u MOFOS on Snapchat! did he phyuk your dad or something! Bitter people”

Now, according to new findings, a call was put through to Toyin Lawani, and her personal assistant who spoke to our correspodence said; “please she has nothing to do with that. You peoople should stop linking her to it”.

Another close associate to Toyin Lawani confirms her claim saying, ‘Toyin won’t stoop so low’.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), Famous Cole, was also reached on phone but he said “I’m not aware of such arrest at the moment. Maybe he was invited for questioning or he went voluntarily to make a complaint’. From the photos circulating (Pictured Above), Bobrisky is without any footwear and he looks visibly distraught which clearly means he didn’t go there voluntarily. He’s also not reachable at the moment as his mobile phone is switched off. A source however said that Bobrisky’s arrest may be connected to his social media post yesterday where he came out as ‘G.ay’, a criminal offence with a 14-year jail term in Lagos State.

Popular Nigerian socialite, Bobrisky, was today arrested in, Lekki, Lagos.

According to reports, his arrest may not be unconnected to the lingering fight between him and serial entrepreneur Toyin Lawani. Bobrisky had recently slandered Toyin via his Snapchat, after she called him a riff-raff during an interview.

The real reason for this arrest is yet to be ascertained, but insiders reveal that Bobrisky will likely be transferred to Abuja, tomorrow morning, all things being equal and if Jesus Christ tarries.

Few months after signing a world record deal at Paris club, PSG, Neymar's father has reportedly met with Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez about replacing Cristiano Ronaldo.

According to Daily Sun UK, the Paris Saint-Germain star player's dad is rumoured to already be working on a deal back to La Liga few months after he left for Ligue 1 in a £198million deal from Barcelona, as sources in Paris have revealed that Perez and Neymar Sr have spoken about a possible transfer involving the Brazilian.

This is even as he said that those responsible for the devaluation of the Naira in the past few years will be arrested.

Legendary broadcaster and actor, Sadiq Daba , has opened up on the effect his double ailments of prostate cancer and leukaemia are having on him.

Speaking to the media recently, Daba said “Right now, I have a catheter inserted into my peen to ease the movement of urine. I have been in and out of hospitals for a while now.

“Next week, I also have to go for a biopsy to determine if I would need to do a major surgery. I have leukemia to battle with, then this prostate issue comes in. The pain is just too much for me.

“I have been receiving treatment at LASUTH and OAUTH and the doctors have been wonderful. I was told that one of the side effects of the surgery is that my testicles would have to be removed. That means I would be castrated and I don’t think I want that.


“The other option is that I would have to take injections that would cost N150,000 every two months, and I have to take it for about two years.
