Which portal is advised to be use for a student on studies permit. When we applied from Naija it was the old portal. But now there is need to extend the visa. Should we use the new portal or stick with the old portal. Thanks |

I just check with someone that completed a JR. What I concluded from my research is that. Sometime its better to do JR if one has the fund and sure you have everything right. When you request for GCMS, officially they promise processing time of 30days. But what we have been seeing lately, it takes like 2-3months Another way out, is to use MP to fast track getting the reason for your refusal. or when a JR is file, IRCC is forced present the detail reason of refusal and the last JR a friend did took him like 1-2months flosure: 1 Like 1 Share |

Austinpee4: - Express Entry route seems to be a bit far off. You need a minimum of BSc to meet the basic requirement to be in a pool. And there are other factor that would work against me. So for now, that is a bit far off. Moreso I am not a fan on IELTS - Me and you know, most students intention is to work after studies. And I would say Canada is a bit of double standard, they claim they are the world most attractive place for students, And they also post often their graduate retention program. So I get so confuse when they reject student saying they are not returning back to their country. |

flosure: I uploaded the GCSM note that shows reason for previous rejects. The first SP -- purpose of visit and finance 2nd was travel history and purpose of visit. Then I secure visa to europe, then apply for SP for the 3rd time now got reject with no reason that was why I applied for GCMS note And alot of people do say when you have relation abroad , it helps. But from my experience instead when you tell Canada VO, you have relation abroad. it worsen the case. / |

awuf: I dont think you have to request GCMS note for individual denail, The latest GCMS note should have every information that has past through your case file. I have secure admission for a BSc, but not sure I will go ahead with that. I will apply and secure another admission in same conestogac college and re apply. Maybe I will go ahead to make the full payment of the tuition fees for a year. |
