I saw these recently, hence my confusion. Truth is that it crossed my mind to say Chemical and Biological Hazards. But I guess those were Categories of Hazards. If you search 'types of hazards', you'll see fire, cuts, burns etc ... listed. I wasn't going for an HSE position. Are you saying I scored zero for that question? yungmin: simplebb: |

I was asked to list four types of hazards during the interview. I listed fire, slippage, and burns. Now I'm wondering if these were the appropriate answers. Did anyone get asked the same question? How did you answer? |

Your friend's story is quite worrying. I hope it's an exaggeration. But one reason a MicroFinance Bank may have to take such action is that it is heavily burdened by bad debt and hence the desperation and unprofessional conduct. The Central Bank is already tightening regulation on Microfinance Banks. From next year, the smallest Microfinance banks will have a N100m recapitalization. |

Business / Share Your Customer Service Experience To Win N10,000 by FLOW101: 12:51am On Oct 06, 2017 |
Many Nigerians woke up this week to text messages from their banks and telephone providers announcing the 2017 Customer Service Week, just like in previous years. Banks and Telecommunication companies seem to be the only Nigerian brands that care about customer service week, and they mark the event by sending bulk SMS to their customers. But Customer Service Week Social (CSWS) is working to change that. It is hosting a Social Media effort to collect inspiring customer service stories from across Nigeria during this year's Customer Service Week which holds from 2nd to 6th of this month. A number of interesting stories - some that inspire and others that are awful - have been shared across social media. If you have an interesting customer service story to share, you may share your story on this thread for a chance to win N10,000 Rules: 1. Your story must be less than 500 words 2. Your story must be original 3. You must post your story on this thread 4. You must tell your story using only decent language to tell your story, unless you are quoting comments by a third party during the experience on which your story is based. 5. Text, graphics, images, memes, videos and any other relevant media can be used to tell your story. 6. Stories with the highest 'likes' + shares values will be adjudged winner 7. Must be posted on or before 11:59 PM on Friday October 6th. 8. The prize will be paid in Naira by bank transfer |

‘Not every time leave it to karma. Sometimes let CPC fall on poor product/service providers.’ – Roberto Mbugambe (1904) Did you know you can get redress for poor product/service by contacting the Consumer Protection Council? Take Action against poor product and service quality. Contact CPC on Facebook to make complaints. Don’t just take our word for it. Put it to the test like Bashir Ahmed did in his story in the attached screenshot.

i've done it,buh, they said i wasn't successful, tru an e-mail. Hi David, I am sorry to hear that you were not successful. But I don't fully understand your post. What were you not successful about? The test or the interview. I am asking because I applied for the Pan-Africa (finance) Programme. I wrote the test since June 20, but I haven't heard from them. I don't know if I should expect a call or mail for interview. Do you have any info that can help me decide my current status? |

Career / (diageo)guinness Early Africa Careers: I Made A Mistake On The Application Form! by FLOW101: 2:30pm On Jun 17, 2011 |
Hello guys, I have just submitted my application for a position on Diageo's Pan Africa Programme. I think I did not complete an important part of the of the application. I hope the situation can be remedied. I am currently in the UK and I know that here one only needs to call their HR team to fix this problem. I don't know how it works in Nigeria. There are no phone contact information on Guinness Nigeria's web page. I have sent them an email to an address I found on in old post here on Niaraland. Does someone have any suggestions on how I can get Guinness HR to enable me re-fill my application? Any help will be appreciated. |

I have since sent the idiot a message but he has not replied. Here's the message; I have seen your article about the Nigerian football team. Reading it, I had a feeling that it was coming from someone who was really bitter about the country and who had done most of his research using the 'uncyclopedia'. Like most American media people, you tried your best to sound like you know the nitty gritty of the country when in fact you know close to nothing. Hear yourself: ', Christians to the North and Muslims to the South, ' Do American journalists read these days? You claim there are recurring 'wars' in Nigeria. As a journalist, you should fully understand what a war is. I think the activity that America is currently carrying out in Afghanistan and Iraq, and those it previously carried out in Kosovo and Vietnam are more wars than the ethnic clashes we experience from time to time in Nigeria. On corruption, we feel sad about it and hope we will succeed in reducing it like America has done. Slowly but surely, we are progressing. Hopefully someday, we will look back at our past like most Americans look at the watergate scandal, the Monica Lewinsky episode, the Enron debacle and the Mardoff/Wall street 'magic'. It will really harm your career if you do not separate sports from politics. We will not like to see the notorious Faux News popularity sink even lower. Take a clue from Aljazeera journalists. They seem to be setting the standard theses days. Kind regards, (My Name) (A passionate sport fan who doesn't like politics). |
Politics / Re: Haiti: BBC Traces Scam Computer To Nigeria by FLOW101: 2:16am On Feb 19, 2010 |
Some people are heartless. The whole world is bringing aid, Creditor Nations have forgiven Haiti their debts and all these guys can do is to defraud donors of hard earned money. If I were god, I will make these guys experience earthquakes and turbulence in their personal lives until they pay back that money. These guys are murderers. There will probably be people that may have been saved if more resources was available. But thank God for who he is, these guys will still live normal lives. (I am boiling with rage. I may come back to apologize for this remark but right now I don't mind ). |

Romance / Re: Guys: Have You Ever Cried Over A Girl by FLOW101: 2:11am On Feb 10, 2010 |
No. I have never cried for any girl. I have had two really depressing incidents with women, but never cried. I can not remember crying in my life. But the pain I feel may be worse than that of a mourner. In 2001, for instance, the best friend I have ever had was burnt alive (together with his entire family) during the first Jos crises. I felt enraged and vengeful but could not cry (mind you, he was a muslim and I am a christain). My friends have noticed this in me, and I recently observed that they are very uncomfortable with it. They think that I am not human. To be honest, I wish I can cry out some of the pain that I feel. But I just cant. I am not just good at showing emotions. If I love a girl, I act it, sometimes in a crazy way - but never by crying. Crying is helpful. I figure it brings relief and strengthens one, preventing possible psychological crises. I am trying to find ways to vent out my emotions. I will marry the first lady that can bring me to tears. I will know she's different. |
