Business / Re: My Ecobank Master Card Works Only On Pos Machines by FOCUSBYEMS: 11:29am On Jun 27, 2016
I am sure those staff you mentioned are the so-called bad eggs. Ecobank has dedicated numbers that can help you get solutions quickly. just try any of them.
nkpommpko:
Please does any other person experience this problem with his/her ATM card.
I stay in abuja ,I go to the ATM to collect my cash and it vomits it a tells me thank you, this started a year ago, I changed it not too long ago and after about 10 times it went back to this strange behaviour, but when I go to the pos in the bank it accepts it
I have complained and complained Ecobank do not seem to have answer, all they say is Oga get a new one. That is buy a new one, because you have to pay 1000 naira for one and when it happens again like in My case you simply buy a new one.
Please some should help me inform this people that soon people have to start taking responsibility for their actions and in actions.

Ecobank whats happening with you, on a Monday morning when people are trying to refill their pockets with their money ,they arrive your bank and BOOM! you tell them no service.
You know what I think? Ecobank is about to implode.
Education / Cka: The Noiseless Educational Trail Blazer by FOCUSBYEMS: 12:33pm On Feb 19, 2016
Did you know that last year, 13-year old Chimelum Tasi-Amadi, a year 9 student of City of Knowledge Academy (CKA Int’l), noiselessly set an academic record when he effortlessly achieved the perfect score in the Cambridge Checkpoint Examination? Today, the outstanding feat by Tasi-Amadi has earned him placement at Phillips Academy Exeter USA (a world renowned Prep School that prepares students almost exclusively for the IVY League Universities in the USA). Yet, before the Cambridge Checkpoint Examination feat, both Tasi-Amadi and CKA had dazzled keen watchers of educational terrain with award-winning performances at both the American Mathematical Competition and the Cowbell Mathematics Competition.

Between 2015 and 2016, CKA has presented eleven (11) students of age range 10 to 14 years for the Microsoft System Administration Certification examinations and they all passed with flying colours. Today, these 11 students have all been certified by Microsoft as Systems Administrators with proficiency in MS-Words 2010.____________ http://pulse.ng/student/chimelum-tasi-amadi-13-year-old-breaks-record-at-cambridge-checkpoint-examination-id4704660.html

Sports / Re: Beware Of This Olajide Olamilekan Of 3691184070 Ecobank And His Fixed Games by FOCUSBYEMS: 5:03pm On Jan 27, 2016
(Beware Of This Olajide Olamilekan Of 3691184070 Ecobank...) was thinking the guy was a staff of Ecobank, only to discover that the guy and his scam has nothing to do with ecobank. at first, why did you mention ecobank in the headline of the story? is ecobank officially aware of your transaction with him? did the transaction take place at any of the ecobank branch? instead of coming here (Nairaland), go to the ecobank branch where you paid into his account or the nearest ecobank office and tell them your experience, so they can deal with the account holder, because in other climes, the bank can charge you to court for defamation of character. please be careful next time. But on the other hand, na wa ooo, despite the economic meltdown, some people in this country can still be victims of scams, now you are here blaming Ecobank for your ignorance of being Mugu, Maga and Maya, a beg, waka....

Business / Re: 3 Banks Get June 2016 Recapitalisation Deadline by FOCUSBYEMS: 2:56pm On Nov 23, 2015
@RedCARD1 Loool...did i hear that syke-bank be merged with Ecobank? its like comparing West Ham United with Barcelona, the difference is very wide, Ecobank is a PAN-africa (equivalent to International) while Skye bank is not it.
RedCard1:
Poorest, weakest, dumbest and worst performing banks so far:

Enterprice Bank: this bank needs to be shut down.

Skye Bank: I can't tell why.

Unity Bank: their time is up. They just have to go away.

Ecobank: they don't ever have stable network service. The Air Conditioners hardly works fine. Merge them with Skye let's see what happens.

FCMB: Boring as Ecobank and they defraud customers a lot.

Wema Bank and GT Bank: just because they are not everywhere. It's so tough to find a branch of these two banks.

AlomoReloaded:
With the ongoing BVN brouhaha, ecobank has once again shown itself to be one hell of a mediocre of a bank.
I was at Aba branch of Ecobank, where a customer almost fought with the staff of the bank. It's appalling, that people that bank with other banks, and have registered for their BVN with those other banks, will come to ecobank, to link the number, up but will end up almost going crazy. Most customers, had registered for the linking, about three or more times, even before the erstwhile expiration date, issued by CBN, yet they still can't withdraw, because their Ecobank accounts had been frozen, despite registering for the BVN linking.
I don't know why I resisted the urge I had, a long time ago, to close my ecobank account, and concentrate on the very awesome Zenith bank, only to come to ecobank and end up almost loosing my head, cos I cant withdraw, despite linking my BVN three times. I want to unequivocally state that, ecobank is a complete hoax of a bank... not even up to being called a mediocre of a bank. I still wonder why, CBN hasn't sanctioned this bank, for their messed up customer service.
The moment, I succeed in unfreezing this ecobank account, I will make sure, I withdraw all my money, and permanently freeze the damn account! If you need a peace of mind, don't ever make the mistake of opening account in ecobank, or you may die before your time, because of High blood pressure and frustration. and if you bank with ecobank, close the damn thing, and bank with a better bank!
Am out.
