The document to be uploaded included proof of marriage.The worry still remains that the time for me to prepare and take English test is short because the next available date is 2nd of April 2016 and I have no idea when the test score will be available for uploads.So we decided to write to them stating that he is not including me in the application but even at that, the application is still requesting for my Medical report, Police report and Bio data page of my passport. The latter is the case.The marriage took place after he applied and before being requested by CIC to submit his docs.so he will send the mail to know the next step.Thank you very much.

If that's the case, then he can't submit that application as being single otherwise it'll be regarded as misrepresentation. Furthermore, the field showing an applicant as single is locked as soon as one enters the pool and the section for uploading documents will only show the options for a single applicant eg there'll be no section to upload the marriage certificate etc. My advice would be for him to reject the ITA then you take your IELTS and get your WES evaluation if your score isn't high enough, then re-enter the pool. |

You need to let us know if you were married before he applied or he had already applied before marrying you cuz, if you were married before he applied and subsequently got ITA, then he ought to have indicated he was married. If that is the case, I'll say he can't accept the ITA for now, he'll have to keep declining it till your own IELTS is ready and he then can add your result to his profile and then declare that he was married otherwise, they will see it as misrepresentation which can attract a ban of 5years from entering Canada. If it was after he applied and before being requested by CIC to submit his docs that the marriage took place, I will say he should send a mail to CIC explaining his situation and let them tell him what to do zandora:

He was single as at the time he entered the pool, then we got married and after that he updated his marital status and then got the invitation. zandora:

Hello Naira landers, This is my current situation.My husband has just been invited by CIC to submit his documents for PR.He wants to include me but the issue is I have not done my English test yet and this might reduce his required point and am not sure i can still meet up with his submission considering when my test score will be out.I was also refused study visa in March 2015 (I was not married as at that time) will this affect anything and can I apply for an open work permit in the middle of all of this. The first refusal really sad and I want to get it right this time. Please I need help.Thanks |
