Yes. If you are convinced to do so, but not on the basis that people are doing it.

You got it wrong. He never danced naked in the real sense but 'naked' in the sense that he removed his royal clothings and danced like an ordinary man
Career / Re: I Received My First Salary Today (PHOTO) by Follybay(m): 9:33am On Dec 06, 2023
Yes! You can. On the other hand, No! You can not

I wouldńt know if you have advanced in age , or there are pressures from your family that made you to think about marriage. Nevertheless, whatever the case may be, YOU CAN MARRY if you see your present job as a stepping stone to greater height. Be creative. Give yourself a timeline on the job. Try to get involved in other profitable activities, like organising lesson (if you have what it takes to so) and so on.

Similarly, NO, YOU CANNOT (speaking as human) if you are satisfy with you salary, even if you work for donkey years. Some Private School owners are just too difficult to work with in this country. You will just realised that you are not even useful for yourself but only for the school. I am speaking from experience.

By and large, brother, while marriage is good and profitable (I am entitle to my opinion) don't get pushed into marriage. It requires SERIOUS planning.

HE WHO FAILS TO PLAN HAS PLAN TO FAIL.

It is not every post one sees that one should comment on, if one does not have what it takes to comment. There is no point hauling insults at each other over an issue. Things of the spirit CAN NEVER BE KNOWN by canal. So, to those with spiritual discernment, there is no point dragging what needs not to be dragged. After all, there is freedom of airing one's view over an issue. And a man's response to any issue describes his level of understanding of the matter at hand. Therefore, put him in his level.

My candid advice.

Religion / Re: Couple Whose Wedding Was Cancelled Over Pregnancy Weds In Another Church In Aba by Follybay(m): 3:13pm On Nov 29, 2023
I don't know why some people just like to always make a mountain out of a moll. It is the church doctrine that a lady should not be pregnant before marriage. so, it VERY SIMPLE, follow the church's doctrine and remain a member. Go against it and get punished. And if you cannot withstand the punishment, you walk away.

The issue of hypocrisy levelled against the church leaders that are there not members who are committing fornication does not hold water. God's Word that says "DO NOT FORNICATE'' have been preached to all and sundry. It now left for the members to follow the warnings. Even if they are engaging in the act and the church is still vehemently preaching against it, should the church now stoop so low to against it doctrine? Afterall, they were not sent away from being members, nor said they should not marry. The church simply made it known that the church leaders CANNOT JOIN them.

Anyway, the church leaders have done the needful by not 'lowering the standard', it is now left for the newly wedded couples to retrace their steps if truly they really know WHO THEY ARE AS CHRISTIANS.

No problem provided their 'marital lives' is not in anyway challenged. Of what benefit is the life of an able-body man/woman who is 'maritally challenged'?
Newly couple, enjoy your lives to the fullness in the Lord's glory

Education / Re: Reps Ask FG To Ban Queen Primer Textbook, It Contains ‘sexual Perversions’ (pic by Follybay(m): 11:00am On Oct 20, 2023
What the writer of Queen Primer had in mind with the word 'gay' is 'to be happy and full of life'. Please, check your dictionary. Let's now agree that the only registered meaning of the word (in some people's mind) is homosexual, is an outright ban of the book the way out? Call the attention of the publishing company to it. Let there be revision of the book and the so called 'forbidden words' taken out. It will be better and appreciated if our lawmakers (from state to federal) can also look into and scrutinize some of the programmes that glorified nonsense and promote nudity, which even have the backing of the government, watched by millions .
