My thoughts exactly! Just arrange battalions go where you bought the car.

These dealers, as long as you have no evidence linking the crime to them, beat and kill them till 2017, they will never agree o... but once an evidence shows up, you will just see your car from now where.

Sorry for your loss guy. Same exact experience, November 9th 2013, they were waiting for me at my gate to drive in and jejely walked into the compound. 2011 Toyota camry spider (fullest option to d teeth XLE with only 23k miles on it (original mileage), factory fitted every every, rev cam, push to start 3.5V6 etc etc. N3.9m) fitted with detailed tracker (voice record n all that)

collected d machine at gun point (3 guys). Carried me a few kilometers away from home, took everything, fones and all and dropped me off without a scratch (Thanking God for that till dat). Ran home to track d vehicle on my system and listen in to their conversation. by the time i got home (in about 20 mins) and logged in, tracker had been disabled completely. Vehicle has not been found till date

Hard to say but the car is as good as gone. Do d needful but don't dwell on finding it. if it comes, good, otherwise life goes on. Thank God you are alive.

The primary suspects are the guys that sold the car to me OR the company/guys that installed the tracker.

Lessons Learnt:
a. These guys are smart. They already have planned what to do before they stole your car (if they are dumb, then you may have chances of finding it). The even change VIN numbers. The market for your car or its parts was already available before they struck

b. These criminals install trackers too. Every Tom, Dick and Harry does it. I even can do it. That's why they were able to even take out mine completely in less than 20 minutes.

c. Comprehensive Insurance with a reputable insurance firm is the best bet you have because you will recover a reasonable amount of money spent on the car (my mistake: i was to make payment for comprehensive insurance on a Monday, incident happened on saturday)

d. When purchasing, NEVER use any address that can be linked directly to you on the receipts n all. Use your grandfather's village address, they should go and look for the car there.

e. Carry out your vehicle registration BY YOURSELF, the dealer or whoever always has 'someone' who does it that will ask for your licence or original address because they want to register it with roadsafety and then you think this 'someone' is not affiliated with the seller (lie). It is very stress-less doing it yourself, takes less than 20/30 minutes.

Lastly, criminals work with information. If they have none, it makes their actions harder. So, the lesser information and update on progress of your investigation you share with anyone, the better because trust me the 'insider' is close to you and his job is to know what your plan and line of action is to enable them effectively outwit your investigations.

Also, be careful of the police, so you don't go spending money unnecessarily for actions/activities that will not yield any results (almost happened to me too) because someone started using my blackberry phone 3 days after the incident and i kept 'empowering' police to pick the person up which was supposed to lead us to the criminals and till date, nothing.

I wish you good luck and stay prayerful too.

Yes my people. My a/c is finally back and chilling. I finally changed the compressor and the system was vacuumed. Enough Oil and water mixture came out from the evaporator which was the major problem. I will create another thread to explain in detail later.

@lonelydora, please share the address and possibly the contact details where you vacuumed and refilled your AC system. i believe this was done in port harcourt. I need this urgently to avoid damage to my own compressor. Thanks
