Etisalat is bad, Glo is terrible, Mtn is worst. I angrily threw my mtn sim away few months ago. The most painful one is to receive calls only to discover it is one useless ad from the network providers. I had injured my self several times while running to go pick my call, thinking it is one important call sef. Mtcheeeeeew. The painful thing is they have no good enough reason as to why they rip people off.

Sashafm:
Being recently chunned out by NYSC, on October 15th of this month. I have always heard about how precarious it was to get a job in this country without connections, but I did not actually know the gravity of it until now . Armed with my 2.1 certificate from OAU ( The best University wink) and my NYSC discharged certificate I thought now I have arrived to become gainfully employed.
I left Lagos for Abuja just 2 days after my POP, alas, after sending out countless applications and applying for any job that fits my criteria, I have not even been called for a single interview!!!. I was swayed after a week and thought to my self, if I wouldn't be called for interviews I would go in search of the companies my self and make an appearance. I was Wrong sad. I am not really conversant with Abuja very well, but i was determined to go in search of a job physically instead of gazing at my laptop all day long. I dressed in my best, looked very corporate even wore my corporate court shoes that i painfully bought from my alawee in the hope that when I get called for interview by Standard chartered bank or PWC grin, I would launch it. Anybody that met me on the way would think I am a business executive,on my way to seal a contract deal.Started the long journey to town as I stay close to the airport. on getting there I started from Wuse zone 3, as I had earlier sourced from the internet the addresses of companies that had posted vacancies in Abuja. My plan was to go and submit my CV in person .Unfortunately for me I was even unable to locate the offices as, the Address given on the internet did not even correspond. mogbe moment was activated as I was lost, broke and on heels with no direction. I was being turned back at most of the offices, that was when I realized the gravity of being an unemployed person. At a point removed my shoes and changed to my sanders as i had packed them in my bag. Dejected and sad, I turned back home. And here I am at home again. Glued to my laptop and scanning for job again. It is indeed pathetic.

I will try not to judge her sha, but that babe no try big time. As for mr sharp compound guy, ur babe is next in line for compound panshing.
Ok, mr. Op (i mean the real guy, not the covered up "my friend"wink truth be told, it is not going to be easy for you to continue that relationship or marry the lady. No one is infallable, and without mistake. Ask yourself this, can you trust her truly again? Is there possibility that she will become promiscous after this? Cos, after tasting more than one, the urge to compare will be there. Do you still see her as your wife to be, a friend and lover (now that the gate is wide ope). If you still do and can, marry her and cover her stupidity, if not, let her go... At least a lesson has been learnt one way or the other.

Business / Re: Your Dormant Bank Account Could Put You In Trouble by Freeben: 9:04pm On Aug 18, 2015
Tokotaya:
If you have a dormant bank account in Nigeria, you could be on CBN’s debtors’ list. Let me recast that, if you have a dormant account in Ecobank, you may already be a debtor, without knowing it. Your name may have been listed as having bad credit on the Credit Risk Management Bureau (CRMB)’s database with CBN. It’s not a demarketing attempt. It is purely my experience that others can learn from.

I had a current account in Ecobank around 2011. My ex-employer moved our salaries there based on a nice presentation made by the Branch Manager of the Bank at the time. However, the promises made were not met, so the salary account was moved elsewhere and we all thought it ended there.

More than three years later, I had left the company and was processing a loan with another bank. Near the completion of the deal, they called to tell me I was owing Ecobank. I was advised to sort it out with them before any progress could be made. I didn’t take any loan. The account didn’t have an overdraft facility. It was a basic current account from which you could never withdraw above your available balance at any point in time. How could I owe on the account?

I called their customer care and the lady insisted I must have taken a loan. I insisted I did not, and tried to convince her to look into the account to see what could have happened. She rudely cut the call!

I made a series of other calls and was linked to their Oke Afa, Isolo Branch where the account resided and was able to establish that it was my dormant account there that ran into negative. Ecobank made some routine charges on the account and when they depleted what was there, they made negative deduction of N119 and the negative started accumulating interest that had amounted to about N2,500 by late last year when I applied for a loan.

What manner of a bank would make deductions from a dormant account? I went to the bank and confronted them. An official explained that an account going dormant does not mean that charges could not be made on it. He said a man can be sleeping, but his bodily functions work nonetheless.

I paid off the money and obtained a letter of Non-indebtedness and took it to my new bank before they could process my loan. The great worry: what if I had not applied for a loan at another bank? How would I have known? Many decades later, may be as a pensioner, one may now apply for something and they will tell you there’s a debt of a couple of millions of naira you need to clear.

I’ve commenced the process of closing the account with Ecobank. Other dormant accounts I have are going too, even though some of the other banks are arguing that their own processes are different from Ecobank’s. They argue that typically, your dormant account holds the last balance there till you reactivate it. One said if at all any customer’s account goes into red, his bank had a standard procedure to call up the customer by phone to alert him. No one called me from Ecobank.

How much was N119 that Ecobank would go ahead to list me as having a non-performing loan instead of calling me to clear it. The totality of my experience with Ecobank has been horrible to say the least. To even collect the Letter of Non-Indebtedness was a war. It took nearly 3 weeks of constant harassment to get it ready and on the day I was to pick it up, I spent three and a half hours in their banking hall.
So folks, check up on all your current dormant accounts, especially those with Ecobank.

Thank God i do not operate that bank. I have always detested that bank and sending my siblings money through Ecobank has always been a terrible experience for me. I had to force my sister and brother to close their account there and use another bank. I am not trying to blacklist them, but their customer care's attitude to customers is really nothing to write home about. Tufia is their new name in my dictionary.

Romance / Re: what is the meaning of this question my fiancee asked? by Freeben: 8:31pm On Aug 18, 2015
Have you ever done it with her and stopped? Is she craving your attention and sees that is the only way to get it when she is not with you? Do you sex chat with other girls and feels she doesnt need it since you both do the real thing?. Women from my understanding are very sensitive and emotional. Sometimes, its not a bad thing to indulge those we call our own. You may end up enjoying it cos she derives pleasure from being intimate with you even without you being physically present. Her joy should be your joy, not just one sided. That aside, is she always doing your bidding and you don't bend to one of her own, especially one as unselfish as this? You even sound like a one sex-style man. Guy, exploration made technology this easy to use, so explore every angle of your relationship and derive pleasure from it even if it is not convinient at the moment.

Dear all

I created a thread about my fiancee's question "hope u won't be angry if I have phone intimacy with someone else"

Please read the thread to get a full dose of it

Since then, she is being pleading, saying hope am nt angry. I said am not, so I deliberately did not call her for 3 days,

Today I was surprised to see her in my house, she said she came to pick some of her things, after which she zoomed out, I didn't make effort to stop her, just laid on my bed

She came in the second time, picked a few things and left, I didn't move an inch nor alter any word

She came in the third time, and said "am I this heartless? U didn't try to stop me?

What is she into? Am I heartless for not saying anything

Insults are welcome....

Ok, Op, so what is the latest now? I wanna believe you guys have sorted out your issue. One thing i know is this, there is no relationship without its issues. And i sense she only wants your attention. Maybe your attention towards her is waning and she may have either told you directly or subtly. Women can be funny truly, but is YOUR WOMAN FUNNY? Do you really understand her at all? From your previous posts, you made it know that you have been together for over four years, what are you still waiting for to put that ring in her fingers and make her truly yours? Money, Job issue, Trust issue, or what? Since she is your fiancee, how long have you been together before you popped the special word that binds her to you before making it legal and how long have you been engaged. Is she promiscous in nature or you are gradually getting tired of her after holding her bound to you for over four years.
A similar thing has happened to a very close friend of mine, only for it to be discovered that the guy is not paying much attention to his fiancee and she went to the extreme, got tired and left him. He was miserable for months cos no other ladt could replace her in his life. Well, they are back together as man and wife sha.
Back to you, how often do you appreciate her (i am not talking of bedmatics nor money), when was the last time you told her you love her, and you are glad she is in your life. Do you compliment her? And how often? She is not perfect and you are not perfect either. I read your previous posts too and all i smell is mistrust and you wanting to assert your authority as a man. Be the real man by treating her nice, make her proud of you and learn to trust her and give her benefit of doubt. Above all, learn to communicate effectively, cos lack of communication also destroy relationship. Lastly, go tie the knot and give her the confidence and respect she deserve. Oya, invite me for your wedding. Send me the wedding date o, cos i like party rice o. Goodluck my guy!
