Yomodun: You can try tracking your prepaid envelope. I also submitted Wednesday, sept 11 and I just got my visa. I don't think using a far travel date will delay it at this time. Okay... What travel date did you use? |

Guys, is it true that you won't get your Visum on time if the travel date you used is kind of far? |

Please and Please stay from them. So many bitter experiences from different persons. Use DHL or FedEX/TNT. Always find someone to combine with if the bill is much to bear. Pls stay away from UPS Please how long does it take them to deliver back documents and passport from the embassy? I used their envelop. I don't know they are like this. |

If you're going for winter you must show proof of enrollment extension to the embassy. Don't use a start date you cannot prove. Try and get the extension from your school before you book. As for date, depends on your school. Some schools will agree to extend while some won't. Some allow you to enrol by proxy ie. You don't need to be present to enrol. Once you're enrolled in a school, you're a student so you can resume anytime. Mail your school and find out if they can extend your enrolment or allow you to enrol by proxy. But the major thing is that don't book appointment with a start date you cannot prove.
3.32 cgpa is a 2:2 which means you book under Category B. He's qualified for Cat A Category A is : First Class to second lower class. 3 Likes |

I think your name on other documents normalise the whole thing. Go ahead with your booking bro. And if you still feel scared, you can get a court affidavit concerning that.
All the best I appreciate Bro. Thanks |

Go through their checklist bro, all required documents are all listed there. Thanks Bro. I have done that. The only issue I have now is that my first name was written as DAMILOLA on my primary school leaving certificate while on my other documents (dob, certificates, id cards etc) my first name was written as OLUWADAMILOLA. OLUWADAMILOLA is my first name |

oli19937: @ Goztino and all those coming to RWTH Aachen Applied Geosciences please make sure to write an English exam ( IELTS or TOEFLS) I will suggest TOEFL the ibt score needed is 90.. Note their is no shortcut to this ( proof of English language proficiency) and what have you.. If you don't write in Nigeria, you will write when you come and this will cause you to miss registering important courses.. See what I mean • once you arrive, you do health insurance and proceed for enrollment ( I must say at this point that enrollment is not done from Nigeria, it must be here!) • it is after enrollment that you will be transferred from being an applicant to being a student • most courses registration don't last long and so if any of your enrollment requirements is missing, you might be attending lectures but no course registration ( you can't write exam for any course you didn't register)
So my advice is as follows • get your English exam certificate ready if you have not gotten • your degree result, transcript and any other documents that you feel is important • once your Visa comes out, pay your semester dues from Nigeria. This has 2 very important advantage 1. You can complete your enrollment in a day 2. Your semester ticket will be processed within a week Don't delay that so that you won't spend your money on trains and bus that you are supposed to enter for free. • keep on checking your application page for that place they write PRINT INVOICE you will know when the invoice for winter semester dues is out. It contains the bank details and the amount. • last but very important is ACCOMMODATION.. To this I have two suggestions 1. Search for Studierendenwerk Aachen, register and stand on the queue for any accommodation of your choice. 2. Their is a Facebook group called INCAS AACHEN join and you will see time to time accommodation advert. It hadn't reached my turn in Studierendenwerk but I got accommodation before coming " thanks to INCAS AACHEN " ** also if the embassy needs any proof that you course will be thought in English, send me a pm our course coordinator will send you a letter to that effect. Do these things, prepare well for interview and we will all see by the coming fall. Remain blessed. Thanks a lot.. What's the IELTS SCORE needed for applied geosciences? You only spoke about the TOEFL score needed. |

Deutsch Bank will stress you out, I think at a point you even need to go to German embassy for some authorisation before the account is opened. But you can finish everything about fintiba in a day. My account is ready now, na only to fund remain and it even has an app in play store which you can download and use Thanks for the information Bro. 1 Like |

iPOD007: I would suggest, you get all your money and an interview date before you start paying into FInitiba. From what i gathered from them, your monthly account fees, start counting once you transfer money into that account. So its better to start when you really need it.
Noted Bro. Thanks for the information |

My brother, that's what I am facing now, I have opened Fintiba Block account. So far, I have half of the needed money and I will soon head to cybercafe to print my admission letter then with it, I start looking for support to complete it before the end of next month but meanwhile I will take the risk and book anytime date drops because from what I noticed, its very competitive to book appointment nowadays. Wow... Nice one Bro. Is Fintiba a very nice options? Considering DB stress I just want to be sure if you know anyone who uses Fintiba . I wouldn't mind Fintiba at all |
